In an empty Cathedral on Chaross IV, Kay sang the same song that she had sung on this same spot on this same day of the basic calendar. It was here that her husband died. In the battle that nearly killed all of them, his sacrifice saved her and her friends. They all thought that they were safe here, but sacred places meant nothing to that Sith Lord.

Shaw's ashes were buried here, in a place that only she knew. Every year she made sure that no one would be around, having paid off the caretakers to take a day off.

A fire burned in the hearth and she used that to heat the water in her kettle for her tea. This was her own sacred place on this day of mourning, of celebration and of remembrance.

Far above Chaross IV a lone ship erupted from the black, obscuring the white pinpricks of stars that doted the blackness of space and moving into orbit over the planet. "Captain put the stealth drive online and prepare a shuttle to leave to the planet bellow. Once there the pilot will come back and wait for my instructions for a pick up." The figure sitting at the throne with jagged crystal portioning from the armrests and throne's back. Darth Erebos stood up and walked to the hangar while the grizzled old captain followed his orders to the letter.
Erebos himself didn't really know why he had come to this planet but he felt a draw to the planet that he couldn't ignore. Like a cat gnawing at the back of his head but in this case he couldn't just shake the cat off, he'd have to follow through with his gut feeling to get it to go away this time.
The ride down was uneventful and he spent the entire time looking over a holo globe of the planet and pointed at specific place for the pilot to land at. The place he landed was two Kilometers away from the cathedral and he disembarked and watched the ship leave up into the clouds to return to the Doppelgangers Lament.

Walking to the Cathedral he stopped just outside the large stone building and removed his helmet, allowing his long white locks of hair to flow out of his helmet and cascade down his shoulders. He mused a little to himself that he'd need a hair cut soon as his hair now reached down to his lower chest. Placing his lightsaber inside the helmet he respectfully and silently walked inside the Cathedral, the smell of [member="Lady Kay"]'s tea coming into his nose before his Sight fully saw her.
"I hope I'm not disturbing you...But if I am, Excuse me." He said, bowing his head in silent respect for what she was doing, he knew grieving when he saw it, having seen his own father do a similar ritual for his mother when he was growing up.

Kay was so wrapped up in what she was doing that she failed to notice [member="Darth Erebos"] until he spoke. His voice startled her, of course and it was lucky that she didn't have the hot kettle in her hands at the time. For now the water was still warming up. She was, however, getting her sapir tea leaves prepared, which as she was startled, had fallen in a pile onto the table. Didn't she tell the caretakers to have the day off and keep this place closed? Maybe they had forgotten to put up the signs.

But oh well. He was here now and she had hoped that he wasn't listening to her earlier. Kay bowed her head in return. If he was being respectful, than so was she. "I was just....preparing some tea. May I ask who you are, sir? This Cathedral is supposed to be closed for the day..." She began regathering the leaves and was trying to decide if it was too late to shrink down the size of her Force signature. She didn't bother to do so earlier when she thought that she was alone.

He smiled gently towards her, his face parted by a black blindfold across his eyes. He could see her clearly now and he was taken aback a little, taking a step back as well as it really hit him. "You... You were there on Naboo, on the plains of battle." He said as his face an expression of profound surprise as it then clicked, she had asked him for his name. "My name is Da.." He started and then stopped rethinking introducing himself with his title in the one sith, clearing his throat he began again. "My name Is T'zanith Zebron and I'm a Miralukan. I was drawn here by the force but I have yet to put my finger on why as of yet." When he said miralukan it sounded a bit strained like it wasn't the whole truth of the matter which it wasn't but so few knew of the sephi that it felt like saying he was half Ewok to some.
[member="Lady Kay"] was still like the light he had seen during that battle, unwavering and pure but now it was laden with streaks of grief and distant pain.

Kay's jaw dropped a little as [member="Darth Erebos"] stepped back and spoke of her being on Naboo. And in battle, no less. And here she thought that dressing as a Mandalorian would have helped her stay hidden. If he knew, then others might know too and that was an unfortunate thought. "Pleasure to meet you, T'zanith Zebron...." Whether he was lying about his name, she had no idea. But something was strange about him, that's for sure.

She finished with the tea leaves and then went to check on the kettle, keeping her back towards him as she spoke. "Yes...I was on Naboo...Not that anything good came of it." Her battle on Naboo was cut short due to the fact that she was out numbered, out gunned and more than likely to be captured as a p.o.w. or killed by either the Techno Union or the One Sith. And she didn't wish for either of those things. So she had to leave. Of course that wasn't the only reason behind it. Seeing her former boss working against the morals of the company that she helped get off the ground was a devastating blow. ArmaTech used to be about defence and fighting oppression. Now it seemed to be about the opposite. And that was very sad news, indeed.

The water was almost hot enough. So she walked back to the table. "I don't know why the Force would bring you here. But hopefully it is for good intentions. Would you like any tea? I have plenty to spare." She had another cup and could prepare it easily enough.

He nodded to her in repsect. "I would appreciate a cup and don't worry if you wish my weapon is in my helmet and as a show of my intend of coming here in peace I will offer it to you." He then said as he held out his helmet with one hand as he walked to sit down near her, but not next to her. Part of him denied him that privilege, he had killed before sure but only in self defense unlike most of the other sith he knew of. He didn't revel in it as completely but he couldn't deny the course of power he got when boundless death was around him but another part of him felt sickened by that very aspect of himself.
"I..." He began but then paused as he pondered the wisdom of what he was about to say, his hand still outstretched with his helmet in offering to her. "I didn't lie about my name but it is also only the first name I've held the other is... Darth Erebos of the one sith. Do not be alarmed I come here in peace and will leave here in peace. I didn't see you directly in the battle but I could and can see your force signature as I see with the force instead of my own eyes."

She looked to the lightsaber in the helmet, but made no move to retrieve it. "I believe you. And thank you...."

She got out another cup from her satchel and set it down on the table as he spoke. So he was part of the One Sith. But his mannerisms showed that he wasn't a threat. Good. Kay prepared the tea leaves in his cup and then went to fetch the kettle. Steam was rising out from it's spout. Ever so carefully she brought it back and then poured some water in each of the cups.

"You are not the first member of that organization to come to me. There are a few that I can trust, even though I was advised otherwise. I only consider someone my enemy if they strike against me." She put the kettle aside and then sat down, cradling her cup in her hands while she waited for the tea to steep. "What is happening to Naboo is horrible. I have never seen the Techno Union attack a planet before and it is just as bad as the rumours say. Maybe in time the planet can be liberated and restored."

Kay wasn't used to losing in such a way. She always held out hope that things would turn out all right. But there was little hope to be had for Naboo right now.

[member="Darth Erebos"]

Erebos's shoulders visibly lowered in relief when she believed him, he was so relived that he almost let out a lout sigh of relief but he held it in. He followed her lead once she had placed another cup of tea for him and leaned back a bit, resting his right elbow on his right knee which he had raised in a pyramid like posture. "I would have liked to fight against the Techno Union's occupation but as precarious as the war has made the sith it was also foolish to try and strain one of the few alliances the one sith has left." He said, his tone solemn as he felt actual guilt over the fate of the people of Naboo. It had produced his only friend Darth Mythos after all and the mans reckless abandon to fight against the occupation was to be admired for sure but in the end there wasn't much to be done about it. At least from Erebos's small sphere of influence within the sith.
"If It could be helped I would have kept them from seizing the planet but then again." He began then paused as wheels began to visibly turn in his head. "What had provoked the attack in the first place? Naboo is after all far from the Techno Union's sphere of influence so what could there to be gained from taking it?" He then asked himself as much as [member="Lady Kay"], he wanted to try and make sense of it and it had been churning in his mind for a while after the battle.. but now it was back and it only served to confuse him as he eventually came to ground against politics. Another aspect of the galaxy he could do without.

Kay sipped her tea and raised a brow as he mentioned that the One Sith had so few alliances left. Why was that? She figured that they were super powerful for it seemed as though they were bringing to Republic to it's knees.

She knew Darth Mythos as well and he had asked her to help liberate Naboo. But she had been unable to rally the Jedi in time. Kay had hoped that Mythos didn't think that she had fallen for him like pretty much every woman he came across because she would always turn him down. No, her reason for going was to try to save Naboo from a horrible fate. And she had failed.

"I couldn't tell you why they wish for control of Naboo. My guess is just for labour and resources. Or...they could be doing it just because they are bullies."

"That is most likely the case, they do seem to be... Bullies as you so put it." He said slowly as he placed his open palm over the tea cup and tried to gauge how hot it was and if it was safe to sip off it. "My friend Darth Mythos... He... well he disappointed me with that stunt. I had attributed more intelligence and patience to him than he displayed on Naboo." He then said, his expression that of one might see from a child's pout not having it's way but it was also mired in disappointment, frustration and exhaustion?
He was tired, tired of the facade he had constructed around himself given how little he actually felt the emotions that other sith so readily used at their disposal while he, had to relly on a cold rage but instead it had given him focus and clarity of mind that he had yet to see from the others. "I guess the simplest answer is that they are consumed by greed in the end." He then said in a slight sigh and ruffled his hair as he scratched his head.

She took another sip of her tea as for her it was the perfect temperature and the perfect concentration of flavour. Kay could probably make her perfect cup in her sleep.

"Oh yes, Mythos or Animus as I know him, has little patience. He moves too quickly. Maybe he's treating everyday like it's his last? I don't know. But he needs to slow down when others are involved."

It still upset her that she had lost, but that came at no surprise. In the end she did what she could without losing her own life in the end. There was always time for another chance later.

"Greed sounds about right. But they will be stopped at some point. If the past is any indication, bullies don't remain in power forever. There is always a growing resistance."

Erebos took the cup and took a small sip of the tea. It was soothing and relaxing, so much so that a thought occurred to him in the relaxed state that had never before come to him. "If the sith do not chance their way's they just might be the very same bullies that a resistance will topple one day." He said as he then rubbed his forehead a little.
"This tea is delicious, what kind is it?" He then asked [member="Lady Kay"] as he motioned to position the cup back and combed his white hair back, more out of habit rather than an obstruction to his sight.

Well she could certainly agree with his comment on the One Sith. "Even the Republic can go down that road. I am trying to stop that from happening, but I am only one person and I'm not well known to the Senate outside of the tales of my anti-slavery activity."

Kay smiled as he complimented the drink. "It's Sapir tea. Thankfully the leaves are grown on many planets, which is very fortunate as I'm quite addicted to it. The tea isn't addictive, mind you, as there are some I know that don't like it. But it's my own little vice."

Erebos chuckled a little from that, "Well don't we all." He said referring to vices as he took another sip of the delicious tea. "Mine is holo-chess, I'm not any good mind you, don't think I've won a single game yet, but I do so enjoy a relaxing game every now and again." He then said, his tone one of genuine enjoyment. He'd never actually had such a relaxed encounter since he joined the sith and it was a very, very welcomed respite from the dredges of most of his days now.
"You mentioned being against slavery.. I must say I haven't seen much of that in the sith but I do know of at least one sith that has a slave but it isn't as widespread as I believed or is it simply that it is so well hidden?" He then said as the mention of republic politics came up as a subject, knowing a little more about the other factions and galactic players on the board would be a good thing but he wouldn't push the subject at all, he could see it was a sore one for [member="Lady Kay"] given the ripples in her force signature she gave at the mere mention of the word.

She had a sip of her tea before cradling the cup in her hands. "Holo-chess is a good game. My late husband and I used to play at times. Sometimes I'd win, though I have a feeling that he just let me win."

Most of her encounters with the One Sith have been calm and casual. Or maybe she's just been lucky enough to meet only the good ones. Either way, she wasn't complaining.

Now onto the subject of slavery. "I haven't been around many of the One Sith to know of how many slaves they have. Most of the slave trade is handled by the Hutt Cartel. And it is there that most of my missions take place."

"Missions?" He asked with curiosity, he had heard that the hutt cartel was coming back onto the galactic stage but he hadn't really put that much stock in it until now. [member="Lady Kay"] was certainly more knowledgeable on the matter than him and he would listen with rapt attention.

"Yes. Haven't you heard? I've cost the Cartel a lot of money due to the slaves that I've taken from them. I never pull the same operation twice, never use the same ships, nor the same personel, that way they never know when I'm coming."

She sipped her tea, almost proud of herself, but felt more that it was her duty as a Senator of the Republic to eradicate what is against the law. She'll never succeed in stopping it completely, but she's saved many lives because of it.

"They put a large bounty on my head because of it. But I'm not worried. Unless they make the Republic stop me."

He suddenly laughed at that as he placed one of his hands to the side of his face. "I've never heard of a senetor going out of his or her way to do something like that. I always thought they were content to debating in pointless arguments in the senate." He then said as he calmed his breath down from the laugh and took another sip of the delicious tea, he'd have to remember the name so he could make more for himself.
[member="Lady Kay"] certainly was an interesting individual, that much was clear to him.

"Well, not all Senators are the same. I guess that I'm this way because I wasn't born into it. I'm learning as I go along, but I find the arguing and bickering hidden behind politeness to not really accomplish much. Sure it is wonderful to be a part of new laws that are beneficial to everyone. But what good are laws if they aren't being implemented?"

Another sip of her tea almost brought her cup to be empty. And that just wouldn't do. So she fetched the kettle and refilled her cup, adding in the appropriate amount of Sapir tea leaves. "Are you in need of a top up?"

Erebos smiled and accepted the refill offered by [member="Lady Kay"]. "I am petitioning myself to become a ruler of a planet, if it pans out I wouldn't mind a visit from you to get a few pointers." He then said chuckling a little after he spoke. He knew oppressiveness never worked and stifling a populations only raised tensions and ire in the populace, he wanted something else. A people that were happy with his rule and enjoyed life.
"I have to wonder though is it at all possible to achieve a peace settlement between the one sith and republic? it is just senseless killing at this point and I can't understand why the leaders of either faction are so thick headed about it." He then said as he placed the cup to the side and scratched the back of his head a little.
