Day of Remembrance

She gently took his arm, almost as though it was injured and then hit one of the pressure points, the one near the wrist and looked up at him, wondering if she had succeeded. Kay continued the conversation as she practiced. "Alchemy? No, I'm sorry. I primarily studied healing and negotiations. But I am a quick study. Why? What exactly do you need?"

[member="Darth Erebos"]

"I was hoping to find someone I could trust with performing some alchemy on my eyes, so that I can see like you do. Instead of through the force only as I feel both are viable to see what the other cannot." He said calmly as he removed his blindfold from his eyes and opened them, he was blind but he also had eyeballs which were pitch black. He closed his hand to show her she had hit the right place but not at the right angle or strength. He then guided her hand in the motion to show it to her better. "The motion is all in your wrist and forearm, twist it just a little at the point of impact and that will allow for the strike to succeed but you also have to have trained you arms in the strike so that it is integrated into your muscle memory to be effective with these strikes." He then said as he showed the strike as it should be, fast and hard into the air.

His eyes were....different to say the least. But maybe she could help him with that like she did for Solan Charr when he had gone blind after they had crashed on an icy planet.

But that could be discussed in a moment. Right now she was learning or at least trying to learn. Of course with [member="Darth Erebos"] being skilled in the art, he made it look so easy. But she tried again, almost standing up as she brought her fingers down from up high to land on one of the pressure points. How someone could attempt to do this during a fight was beyond her, for the odds of them missing was high.

After her latest attempt, she carried on the conversation about his eyes. "Have you had healers try to work on your sight? I've had some experience in that, myself."

"I was born with these eyes, I'm not a full miralukan, my mother was... is a sephi." He then said with a smirk as the hand was brought down on his hand he winched a little before he chuckled. "I've had a few years to master the blows and we don't have a manikin to teach this as I was taught." He said chuckling as he adjusted her hands to how the blow was and then moved her hand in slow motion to show the blow, even as it connected. "I'm just glad you don't have to do this like that, fighting your own dad who is a master in this art to learn it was a pain in the neck." He then chuckled.

"Being born without sight might make it a bit difficult to fix. Perhaps the optic nerves aren't able to send the right signals through?" It was just a guess, but that was the issue with her friend's eyes. It wasn't as though she's seen his x-rays or other scans.

Kay allowed [member="Darth Erebos"] to guide her hands while he spoke. It certainly was a lot harder of a technique to learn than she had thought. "My husband was a great warrior and he would teach me things too when he had the time. Though he always wanted me to be away from danger. I'm certainly not living up to that now."

Erebos chuckled a little at what [member="Lady Kay"] said. "Well I'm sure he knew he'd never be able to keep you out of it so instead he was trying to make sure you could handle any trouble that you might run into." He said with a smile as he then began to show her the most basic strikes of stava which the nerve strikes were built upon, his mind having been a little scattered when he had begun to teach her.

"Well....I certainly hope so." She copied his movements and wondered how she could use these new skills during a combat situation. Kay was gaining more enemies and it looked as though she might not be doing as much on her own anymore. There was a threat that she might lose Republic support as well.

After another few moments, she stopped. "I think that I might have to collect my own practice dummy."

He smiled to her. "That might be the best idea for you. I can always give you a few pointers and lessons when you have the time for it." He said with a small grin as he took the cup and finished it. "And if you really do need help in anyway I can help you with I am more than willing to offer my aid when you need it." He then finished as he gyrated his neck, getting rid of the building stiffness he had begun to feel.

"That would be lovely thank you. Though we must be discreet. At least for now. As I have said before, even chatting with you like this could be considered treason."

She leaned back in her chair and looked over at him. "I do have one humble request....Look after those in your charge. Let them have their voice without fear of being punished. Be helpful to them and see to their needs. That would already make you a hundred times better of a ruler than Animus and others. Not everyone needs to be ruled by fear."

Erebos simply smirked at the word treason, a word which to him was something politicians seemed to have such a fun time throwing around when they didn't like something. "I hope we can keep our meetings discreet and thank you for the request I will take it to heart." He said with a deferential bow to [member="Lady Kay"], he always respected those with more experience than him and wasn't afraid to admit he was wrong or if he had been out played by someone. It made it easier, at least to him, to learn from his mistakes.

She bowed to him in turn, and then tilted her head to the side a bit as she pondered on what had taken place here in the past hour or so. No fighting, no arguing between both sides. Maybe it was the power of this place? Or maybe it was the sombre feeling of the day? Whatever it was, it was a good reflection on what balance should be like.

"I find it odd, my friend, that you are with the One Sith, for you don't seem to share their goals."

Erebos was putting his upper robes back on and was in the middle of fastening the gauntlet over his forearm as [member="Lady Kay"] spoke her observation. "I'm not, I don't see the world like they do but my views would be just as unpopular and by the staunchest conservatives views of the jedi blasphemous. I see power as something that comes from understanding, knowledge and wisdom however I seek power nonetheless." He said this as he seemed to look at his hand as small sparks of fire erupted from the very air and swirled around his hand before it formed into a small hummingbird that swirled around the air around them before it disappeared into thin air.
His expression had turned hard though as the hummingbird dissipated into the air, it didn't hold for very long but it showed that he had a distaste for some of the things the other sith did.

Seeing the fire appear from his hand caused her to stiffen up. She had only known of one other person that could do that. And that Lady was the wife of a Lord that had kidnapped and tortured her, all for experimentation, before her husband rescued her. Kay never expected that she would see such a thing as fire manipulation again.

It took a moment for her to relax again. "I don't long for power, but I'm not fit for the Jedi either. I'm too reckless, and stubborn for their discipline. And of course I don't belong with the Sith either."

Erebos seemed to chuckle a little. "So we are simply two beings that don't belong to any one order but could just as well fit within others if not for the other differences we have." He then said, his amusement over it quite clear, the mere thought of not belonging to the one sith however caused the mark on his left collar bone to ache suddenly. 'So the mark as other uses huh?' He thought though his body had been marked to often for his taste and it made him feel as if he should simply learn a technique to switch bodies ad he had read about.
Putting that thought aside for now he simply gestured with his hand towards the cup. "Is there any more of the tea left?" He said feeling he could become a little addicted to it.

Kay smiled a little to [member="Darth Erebos"] and his mention of them being so much the same, yet different. He seemed as though he'd make for a great temporary ruler. Kay felt as though all of the One Sith's push to have every planet fully under their control to be just that. Temporary.

At the mention of tea, she nodded. "Oh yes. Glad you like it. I find this tea to be very comforting. You can find Sapir leaves in just about any market, by the way." The water was still hot, but not too hot that it couldn't be sipped right away. She poured from the kettle and then added the appropriate amount of leaves. "Just give it a few minutes to steep."

Erebos smiled and watched the cup be poured. "I'll have to make sure to have an import of these Sapir leaves when I get a stable home set up." He said with a playful smirk as he then had to wonder about something. "Tell me though is it just you alone on your missions against the hutt cartel?" He then said voicing his thought.

Well that was a loaded question. As the tea was steeping, Kay refilled her own cup and let it steep while she thought about how to answer the question posed by [member="Darth Erebos"] . "It's mostly just me. I hire people to help every now and then though. No two missions or rescues are the same. If I am to keep surprising the Cartel, then I'll have to be less predictable." There was a lot more that she could say, but she'd just wait. He might not need to hear more.

He had to smirk a little at that. "Last I knew didn't the republic frown upon guerrilla tactics?" He then said with quite an amused tone. He got the gist of what she had implied and he had to admit it was quite the interesting tactic but also an effective one. "It is a dangerous prospect though, if they really find out enough about you, you might be fending off attacks on your own turf should that happen. The hutts don't have their reputation for nothing after all." He then said as he placed his hand to hover just above his cup, stirring the water with the force to facilitate the seeping of the tea leaves.

Kay watched as [member="Darth Erebos"] stirred his tea with the Force. She kept her Force Use to a minimum for obvious reasons. And what he had said was probably true.

"I know...I should stop, but it's hard. So I'm just slowing it down. The Republic is already going to investigate me, but maybe only because I brought it up to the Minister of Intelligence's attention. I just had to have an idea as to whether or not I could get arrested. I've taken steps to help me to still accomplish my tasks without getting myself into trouble." Or so she hoped at least.

Erebos raised the cup up to his hand with the force as he was practicing minute control of it since it was a peaceful opportunity to do so. "I'm not one to use intelligence agents myself though, found they tent not to tell everything I want them to tell me but I do have my own little information net starting out. Should you be arrested I will help you should you sent me a request for that help. Given that should we both gain the positions we need to bring some semblance of peace between our two factions we must also be able to help one another as well." He then said with a slight smile as the cup was about to touch his lips and he took a sip of the sapir tea.
