Day of Remembrance

She refilled his tea cup and added in the right amount of leaves. It should steep rather well and not in too long of a time.

Kay raised a brow as he mentioned ruling a planet. "Well I don't know much about ruling a planet. I just represent one in the Senate. But I would certainly drop by for some visits and offer up any advice that I might have."

To his next point Kay shrugged her shoulders as she sighed. "I don't have an answer to that. I wish that they could coexist peacefully. But it's all about control, power and the desire for more. I can coexist with a few Sith, like yourself. Some of us have a great respect for eachother. Maybe if there was a common enemy, they could unite under the banner of peace..."

Erebos's shoulders slumped a little. "That, and pardon me if I seem insensitive to you, could have been the techno union even the hutt cartel but in the end the republic and the one sith are the superpowers of the galaxy at this moment and no one want's to try and take on both at the same time." He said solemnly as he raised one hand and let out a force echo to saturate the area with force energy so that he could see better. "I hope that ruling the planet will give me enough time to possibly learn more of the force." He then muttered to himself, his studies had become stunted as of late and it annoyed him immensely.

"The fault with that is that both the Hutt Cartel and the Techno Union are allies to one and the other. And although I spend most of my time meddling in the affairs of the Cartel, I believe that the Techno Union is the bigger threat."

She sipped her tea, glad that she hadn't come across any of the truly evil Sith. Kay tilted her head to the side as he mumbled. "How is it that you are coming to the appointment of ruling a planet? Is it a habit of the One Sith to put in their own leaders on the planets that they take over? And would you like to learn through the Force? I am pretty good at healing?, myself."

Erebos had meant to think what he mumbled and when [member="Lady Kay"] had spoken of it he felt a bit embarrassed for it. "What I believe the Sith are doing is to appoint a, as they put it, Will for the planet to represent it in the forming parliament within the sith government. I believe it is something like an administrator but a friend of mine has already declared himself the emperor of the world he represents so I have a hard time to see a distinction."
He had to think a bit on the latter part of what she said before he could answer. "I have to say I am fascinated with all aspects of the force and learning how to heal with it sounds like a worthwhile pursuit. Do you perchance mean Curato salva or is this some other ability I haven't heard of?" He then said, his face lightning up as he scotched a bit closer to her and took a sip of his tea to calm himself down a bit.

She nodded as she knew exactly who [member="Darth Erebos"] was talking about. "You mean Animus....Yes I am well aware of him proclaiming himself as Emperor. He's killing those that don't agree with him and he's tearing families apart by issuing a draft. And yet...he is against the Techno Union doing pretty much the same thing on Naboo. I brought that up to his attention, but I don't think he's listened to me."

She sipped her tea, having not heard of Curato salva. "I'm not sure if that is the same thing or not. But I used to do a lot of healing for my husband and his friends after their battles and duels. So I can handle a variety of wounds. But I can't heal everything and I'd probably be better at it if I wasn't hiding my abilities and working for the Senate."

Erebos frowned a little to himself at the mention of Animus. "Well to be sure he has hypocritical tendencies but despite his pigheadedness he is someone I would want to be at the wrong side of and instead at my back." He said with a small growing smirk as he thought he would shudder at the thought of having Animus against him instead of with him as he was now.

"You haven't heard of Curato Salva? I take it with how you look in the force you'd be a jedi and it is a jedi skill that I've dabbled in just a bit. It is a skill that keeps the body fit, maintain endurance, extend once lifespan, stave off decay and even flush out disease and poison from the body. But that also makes be have to ask, why do you have to hide your abilities?" He then said as he took another sip after he had spoken and asked her, a bit surprised about [member="Lady Kay"]'s lack of knowledge of Curato Salva.

Kay smirked and spoke softly under her breath, "That's not the only tendency that Animus has...."

She sipped her tea. "I'm an exiled Jedi, kicked out of the Order nine years ago. But that wasn't a skill that I had learned. I healed others mostly as I'm the sort that puts others before myself." Kay kept her cup cradled in her hands. "Senators are not allowed to be Force Sensitive. That's why I hide my abilities. If they knew I'd be kicked out and maybe arrested. There is very little trust around Force Users in certain sections of the Republic. I learned a technique from one of your own to shrink my signature. I just don't feel the need to use it all the time."

[member="Darth Erebos"]

"That does sound a little like you" He chuckled before Erebos raised an eyebrow as his curiosity rose. "You learned how to shrink your force signature? I'll have to learn that someday." He said thoughtfully as he then took another sip. "Is it because of what happened with Palpatine in the past? The reason senetors aren't allowed to be force users that is?" Palpatine or Darth Sidious as Erebos knew the man as, was of a particular interest to Erebos when he delved into sith lore. The man was a political genius and how others spoke of him, he was the embodiment of the dark side with his death vast reserves of knowledge was lost. Knowledge that might never be rediscovered. To Erebos any knowledge lost was the worst sin and crime he could think of.

"I could teach you that too, if you'd like..." As for his other question regarding Senators, Kay slowly nodded her head. "Yes, I believe so. There have been others after Palpatine that have also betrayed the Senate as well as the Republic. So they are being more cautious now. Especially given all of the recent surprise attacks and territory lost."

She sipped her tea. Her mission against the Cartel had made her very....popular. So she needed distractions like this to confuse her enemies and give them less of a pattern to follow.

"I'd appreciate that very much." He said before Erebos had to think a bit about the later half of what she had said. "If I make it into the sith senate I will at least try to forge a peace, even if it will be reminiscent of the sith cold war of old at least it will be as peaceful as we have had." He said, a little grim tone to his voice as he held the cup up to his lips as he was about to sip but then let it down again. "I believe if we could forge such a peace a few visits between us back and forth would be legal at least or understandable. If I can get it through I'll at least try to be the ambassador for the sith should that ever happen." He then said as he took a sip of the cup and then placed it down once more. In his mind to have peace, even a very uneasy one would be the best outcome for either side.

Kay nodded. What he proposed had sounded wonderful. But they were only two people. More on either side would be needed.

"If you were to become an Ambassador, a message sent would be a good first step, rather than appearing in person. I would hate for anyone with an itchy trigger finger to attempt to take you down. This war does nothing for the Galaxy but rip it apart."

She finished her tea and set the cup aside, then folded her hands on top of the table. "I must say that this was not how I expected this day to be. I usually spend it alone. But your company has been a nice change."

Erebos chuckled in a friendly manner after she spoke of how her she had perceived her day going. "What about me? I came her simply because I decided to listen to the force and here I find a very pleasant person to talk to, who also just happens to be a former jedi and a senator for the republic? Wonders never cease do they?" He then said as he finished his cup and placed it down with a smile. "I also wish to help you so if we can both spare the time I wish to teach you the martial art stava, it is a nerve strike martial art that doesn't rely on the force at all. It should help you fight back should anything happen that makes it so you can't use the force or risk being discovered." He then said helpfully as he gave her his personal comlink number and frequency. He found [member="Lady Kay"] to be absolutely delightful and helping her out if she needed it sounded like a good step towards a good friendship, at least that was his hope anyway.

"Well, the Force does have a mind of it's own. We are merely it's vessels." She still considered herself a Jedi, she was just not a part of any order. As for his offer, the raised a brow. "Stava? How does that work exactly?" Of course that could be very useful, especially in her line of work. With her missions into Cartel territory ongoing, the risk of getting captured again was high. She also planned on arranging a meeting with her former boss, to discuss his actions on Naboo and maybe knock some common sense back into the man.

Kay took the comlink info and gave him hers. It was dangerous, what they were doing. But hopefully not for long.

"I was raised as an assassin by my father so i have a few good martial arts under my belt which I am happy to teach you, to help you along in your task." He said with a smile as he asked for her hand to show her a nerve strike that would make her hand useless and then struck again so she could use her hand once more. "Stava was pioneered by the nogri race and they were fierce warriors but very good martial artists as well, I admire their sense of honor which is why I decided to learn the style in the first place." He then explained as he smiled even more to [member="Lady Kay"], it was clear he loved to teach no matter the subject.

"Honour is something that was instilled in me a long time ago. Maybe from my parents? I don't know. I don't remember them."

She held out her hand for him to demonstrate his technique, curious as to how it worked. Did it hurt? She'd find out soon enough. If anything it would probably feel weird. But how long would the effect last? That was something to ask, as well as would someone be able to use the Force to reverse the effects?

When he demonstrated the technique it was like being poked very hard but the sudden and sharp pain would dissipate soon but the arm would be numb. "Try using the force to repair your arm, it's hard unless you know the correct nerve cluster that I hit." He then said with a smile and then placed his hand gently were he had hit massaging it a little to show her were the nerve cluster was. "There is another set of strikes that make the victims arm numb it can still feel every thing touch and even pain but are unable to move it. There are even strikes that numb the whole body but there are other strikes I can teach you which simply knock an opponent out if you prefer."

She gripped the table with her good hand and jumped as the pain set in, her mouth dropping slightly as she knew that she couldn't fully prepare herself for how it felt. But as soon as the pain started, it dissipated and she soon relaxed.

Kay looked to where he was massaging her and focused on the spot beneath his hand. She closed her eyes and let the Force 'show' her where the problem was. The nerves were pinched and his massaging was slowly releasing the pressure. So she aided the process with the help of the Force. Moments later she felt the tingling sensation in her arm that soon allowed her to wiggle her fingers.

Kay opened her eyes. "Wow. Such a unique skill. I don't like to kill and have only done so by accident, never in cold blood. Knocking someone out would be more ideal for me."

[member="Darth Erebos"]

"I thought as much and the once that make sure the individual can't move but feel everything makes for a good bluff in interrogation, though I doubt you'd feel good about threatening torture even without actually doing it." He then said with a slight smile as he then leaned back and chuckled a little as he showed her the snake like movement of his index and middle finger pointed forwards and how to strike with just those fingers. "It's a hard strike to learn and you have to strengthen your fingers naturally before you can augment it with the force. I've even used the force such as force lightning in very small doses to prolong the paralysis that follows as well as make the nerve endings not feel a thing. I've found it quite useful and as far as I've learned of jedi's these days they view the force as not inherently evil just how it is used." He said with a sly smirk.

"No I....I probably wouldn't seem very intimidating. But I think that the feeling in temporarily losing control of one's body would give them enough fear."

She copied his movements and then held out her hand for him to offer his to let her practice with. "That is the popular opinion...at least from what I've heard. The Force is neither good or bad. It's all in who uses it."

"I think that, that is the way of the force in my mind at least." He said as he offered her his hand, after he had removed the upper part of his armor and then offered her his naked arm. "Here let me point out a few of the pressure points in the arm." He said as he began to show her three pressure points on his arm and how to hit them. "[member="Lady Kay"] I must ask do you have any talent for the jedi's alchemy?" He then asked as he felt he could trust her with a project he was planning on doing, the project to, with the help of force alchemy, finally gain eyes for himself.
