As quickly as she dispatched the first two, a few more appeared and eager to fight; so she would oblige them. Speaking the activation word to ignite the enchantment spell in her bone nose ring, she raised a broken necked thrall to serve as he ally. With bellowing roar of rage, the undead lunatic charged toward his one time mates, and began to tear into them, just as they tore into him. While they were distracted, it allowed her to unleash the spell Darkside Tendrils right underneath the entire lot of combatants.
Black wisps of raw side energy rose up from the ground, quickly cutting into flesh and severing limbs; killing them all instantly, including her undead. The loss of her thrall meant nothing to her, it was a hazard that came with the job of serving her. With the second wave dealt with, violently and harshly, it now opened up the warehouse for them to conduct a thorough search for the virus. Once the virus could be secured, then the topic of the mines can be addressed.
"Ransack the entire building.....leave no stone unturned," her muffled voice escaping the gas mask.
"Our victory is close at hand....we just need to reach out and seize it!"

Solan's hands curled up as a lick of flames cut along his face, eyes shut tight and the skin burning with the contact but his body as a whole didn't so much as flinch from the pain. Around him the earth heaved from the pressure building under it, Solan still trying to manipulate the breakings and shifts in the ground below them from causing harm until there were people free from the danger but at this rate a few stray flames and magma spouts started to erupt from the ground, the most recent nearly taking his head off.
The worse yet is the longer it took it became harder and harder to shift the plates under his own will and his men insisted he leave now and simply hope everyone was out of there. Yet he knew if these people were his own he would never do such a thing as did his men and that kept them hurrying in order for him to get out of there to. "Kira, i need more concentration. Intercept any audio or visual thoughts or stimuli that might draw my focus. I know its asking alot of what you can actually do but i need you to try for me to get that done. Deal?"
Solan's eyes found the wolf as he opened them for a short moment and he smiled as his hands curled up tighter. "Now if you excuse me Kira, i have some business with this magma that seems to think it is allowed to be here. Would hate to keep it waiting behind a locked door." Solan smiled as his focus drew back into the environment around him and he tried to focus in on where the plates beneath them all were weaker so that he could apply more pressure and shift things to keep it from coming loose.

There were sounds coming from the facility as she was moving, her attention on most of the things as they walked through with a great deal of her attention feeling out and frenzy the croa when they charged through a room as she watched their claws tear into the chest of another. She paused feeling soemthing while she knelt down in one of the storage room meditating until something came. Bringing her a message from Sanya about what the woman was finding and she brought her attention out towards the child in her arms. "Master Praelior this is for you from Lady Sanya." She was looking at some of the things see it as it was presented to her. The zeltron held her in her arm while resting her on her chest with a finger for the baby to grab onto. "ANd hello you."

Seras was moving and her hands danced when things were coming at them, she didn't have a lightsaber... not yet at least. She had her hand and the force while she sprayed the one in the face and pushed the darkside influence on his mind as she slowly spoke. Fingers at his eyes while she pointed then led them to her eyes. "Be in me." She moved to keep her eyes locked don his while Venefica was using the force and she didn't let him turn his head to get distracted as she continued. "No do as I sat and look into my eyes human, you want to kill your friends they have become infected by the plague and the croa are your friends." She was watchign as he moved off with a blaster raised and started attacking people.

After a long process the Shadow Troopers got the turrets shut down. Vyrassu walked down the hallway and quickly took out the 3 robots on patrol. Vyrassu waived for his troops to follow. The group then checked another room and found nothing again.

This was aggrivating Vyrassu how was it nothing was left behind. Vyrassu shook it out of his mind and proceeded on down the hall looking for anything of interest as his troops continue clearing rooms and scanning anything. Vyrassu turned a corner and was meet with 3 turrets and 2 robots who instantly opened fire on him. Vyrassu begin deflection their shots with his lightsaber as the troops came running and then begin to open fire.

After a few moments the robots were down as was the turrets. Vyrassu nodded to his troops as they continued down the corridor, Vyrassu still sensing the darkside in something nearby. Vyrassu kept his awareness alert as to having no idea what this feeling was, but it was making him curious.

Striding through the warehouse like a juggernaut, the Sith Lady headed toward the nearest room when another lunatic lept out from a room a few feet down. Using her mind, she called forth a tendril from her robe that lashed out and latched on around the neck of the lunatic. As it's air supply began to falter, a burning sensation erupted through the exposed flesh of the lunatic's neck. Her concentration and focus had switched to the tendril, while her own Force energy drained significantly. Following the added pressure from the tendril as black wisps of smoke radiated off it, the lunatic's life ceased to be.
A few seconds elapsed after the lunatic's body crashed on the floor and it sat up, then moved to it's full upright position. With a gentle smile on her face, she watched the slumbering zombie shamble down the hall toward her; taking it's place next to her side. Both necromancer and thrall entered the room, the zombie guarding her as she searched through the labeled vials.
Coming up empty on round one, Darth Venefica continued onto the next room across the previous one she just searched. Again she found nothing. When they stepped out into the hallway, another lunatic appeared at the end of the hall; screaming and howling and clawing at it's own face. Darth Venefica cocked her head toward the poor thing and pointed.
"Kill it," she ordered her zombie comrade.

Vaulkhar sat aboard his shuttle as it descended from the skies, piloting it to a simple landing on the outskirts of one of the various villages. For whatever reason, this very village was located aside a volcano, that was threatening to erupt within the coming hours. His mission was a simple one, help defend the villagers and evacuate them if necessary, to save their lives. It was likely a front, purely to show these villagers that the Cult were not necessarily evil, just people who wished to claim the planet. Helping these villagers would help gain their acceptance of the Covenant, etc. So here he was, landing only a few dozen meters away from an active volcano, to help people he'll likely never see again. What a beautiful way to spend dominating a planet.

The ram of his shuttle slowly lowered, allowing Vaulkhar to exit the shuttle and move towards the village. At this point, other villages were likely being evacuated, or at least aided in their protection. This was the last village Vaulkhar had wanted to go to, considering the population was several hundred, which was way too many to ferry to safety, and their village was rather large. In the case of a volcanic eruption, he could only hope so save so many. The village would likely fall, along with many of the villagers. But in reality, these lives didn't matter to him.

As he approached the village, the elder came out, flanked by two guardians. The guardians were young men and quivering, likely new to this position and afraid of the man who emitted malice that approached them.

"Greetings Elder, I am Vaulkhar. I come as a representative of the Covenant of the Black Rose to aid in the protection of your village. The nearby volcano has been emitting high amounts of seismic activity and will likely erupt. As such, we need to evacuate immediately."

"It is a pleasure, Vaulkhar. I am Elder Marlo. We have begun our evacuation. The children and elderly have begun their march to the north, away from the volcano." The elder raised his arm and pointed north, which was the exact opposite direction of the active volcano. "Then men and women are currently gathering as much as can be carried and loading them into wagons. We'll be ready to move within the hour."

Vaulkhar was most certainly impressed. He expected to come across savages who would require his saving, and yet a majority of them were already gone and going to safety. The well constructed wagons, being pulled by all manner of domesticated animals, were also being loaded to vacate soon. This mission turned into something relatively easy, after being relatively difficult rather early on. What a manner of good fortune. Vaulkhar began to simply oversee the evacuation, aiding in moving valuables, foods, and all sorts of various objects onto the carts. After nearly an hour of labor, the wagons set off, going down a path that appeared to lead through an field of... geysers?

This was not good. Upon this field they'd be sitting ducks to both the geysers and all manner of beasts.

"And the fortune turns bad once more." He grumbles to himself whilst hopping aboard the lead wagon. He stood atop the carriage of the Elder, keeping his gaze upon the environment.

Rapax pryed the door open that lead into this ancient vessel...he could hear metal tear in the distance...the ship was as dark as the abyss ...but the darkness mattered little to him...using his shape shifter gift he changed the properties in his eyes to adapt quickly to the dark to see as well as if the lights where still on. He kept his sabers close to him ...despite its nature he didn't trust this ship to be empty ....He learned a long time ago that one must always show caution in these matters..even the most ancient of places still hold creatures that will devour those who enter it....he had to places in mind...he wanted to see what data was left on board the ship to salvage first...for that he had to jump start this ships generator. He made his way towards what he would think be the generator to kick start this vessel...he had to spark life into it once more to see what he could salvage...any lore it may hold will prove valuble...as well as any crystals or artifacts he could find among the cargo.

The line of wagons made good time across the field of stone and geysers. The lead wagon, which he currently sat upon, was clearly guiding the rest of the column rather well, considering they cut a well placed path through all of the geysers, without causing any sort of harm to those who worked the wagons, moved aside them, or the wagons themselves. They were also making relative good time, over the course of the hour away from the village, the villagers had managed to put hundreds of meters in between themselves and the volcano, which just so happened to tell Vaulkhar they knew what they were doing. So the question arose; what did they need him for?

That answer came relatively quickly. The sound of stomping and heavy feet was heard from hundreds of feet away, marking the coming of some form of beast or creature. Turning his gaze to the horizon, Vaulkhar raised a hand to shield his eyes from the sun as he searched the force for the answer to his confusion. What was the beast and why was it coming? Eventually, a multitude of beasts, with some sort of savage rider came across the horizon, the sound of dozens of feet slamming into the stone ground creating a storm of noise to Vaulkhar.

He leaped from the lead wagon and opened it with little pause, garnering the attention of the chieftain and his guard force. For whatever reason, the column stopped moving and slowly set itself into a semi-circle. The column was taking on a defensive position. All of the able bodied men and women left the wagons and surrounded them, various weapons in hand. The lucky ones had vibro-bladed and blasters. Those who weren't quite so lucky were armed with pitchforks, shovels, pickaxes, and even the rocks upon the ground. This rag-tag band of villagers intended on defending themselves from these savages that road down upon them. Things were starting to become a lot more clear to Vaulkhar as he stared within the face of possible death. They called for an escort to fight off these beasts, without saying a damned thing about it.

Shaking his head, Vaulkhar raised his hands and began to shout orders to the villagers. They were not seasoned fighters, they were workers, barely surviving in their harsh environment. Their defense was well done, but the placement of soldiers was sloppy at best. The orders he barked to the villagers were said with haste and little remorse. He knew many would die in this battle, but he cared not. His mission was to save as many villagers as possible, even if he could only save one.

Vaulkhar lowered his hand to his lightsaber hilt, where he grasped it and held it tightly within his right hand. The vermilion saber burst forth from the hilt upon activation, painting the surrounding area in a glow akin to magma.

"Ready yourselves, villagers! You fight to see your friends and family, and to one day return to your home!"

Let the battle, begin.

Stopping through mid-stride and falling to her knees as her monster laid waste to the infected, a revelation came to her; bringing bloody tears rolling down her eyes. In that retrospect moment she came to truth that she was a Sith in heart and a Sith in belief, but that lot that puppeted themselves as Sith were faux; just begging to be eradicated. And she would be there executioner. Laughing manically, she listened as the voices of the defunct five began clapping in unison.
"And now you see the truth," came the haunting voice of Darth Portia.
Gripping the amulet, the amulet, in her hands she began to cry harder; while her zombie finished off it's foe. Again she laughed, standing up looking down the hall with unadulterated hatred in her eyes.
"Truth hurts? I told you once not to believe them," Darth Zero chimed in, laughing.
"I've always hated you, but you know that. So is it time," Darth Vemion asked.
"Beyond overdue if you ask me sweetie," Darth Sakoi spat.
"And that queen is dead, right? Venefica? So what does that make you, mistress," Hiero Ti'zoi prodded.
Her head was spinning, screaming silently to the dead souls that she had created and manipulated. With one arm she pushed herself to her feet, adjusted herself and laughed some more.
"I'm the Queen of the Swamps.....I'm the breeder of the undead....I'm the bone collector....but above all else....I'm Xhexania," she bellowed.
"I'm the Queen of Madness," she cried as the voices of the Council of Five began laughing.

Balaya watched the croa continue forward while she was holding the baby and leading the troopers. She wasn't certain what to do with her in the end but there were sure to be some good ideas of what can be done. Experiments were one thing but she was looking more to try and make her sithspawn fight with their claws. "Do not worry about infecting anymore my pets, attack everything not of the Black Rose or its allies." The croa that were with her gave a nod of their heads while they were moving towards the vents and hallways to attack while she went towards the phrik stores to secure them with her small team.

It is said battle is the most beautiful of art forms. With each sweep of the blade or shot from a blaster, blood paints the scene with beauty. The scene of every great battle is a scene left behind for centuries, never to be forgotten, even by the descendants of those who fought. This battle, happening right now on Demonsgate, between Vaulkhar's minimal forces against savages, will not be remembered.

What started as a simple journey turned into a fight for their lives for the villagers. The well done defensive ring and further instruction by Vaulkhar brought difficulty in the attack. As the savages road hard towards their foes, upon whatever beastly mount they had domesticated for the sake of battle, they took a multitude of blaster shots. Before the charge had even hit the semi circle of wagons, the wasteland was littered with beastly remains. The villagers, though farmers and workers, were fully capable of fighting off the initial charge, even slaying some of their foes while only taking very minimal damage. Yes, a few of the villagers were slain and wounded, a majority of them were able and willing to move come the retreat of the savages.

For whatever reason after the initial charge the beast's decided to flee. Vaulkhar had made the assumption it was seeing the lightsaber wielding foe upon the lead wagon, directing their slaughter by a group of peasants. But there was more to it, of that he was sure. With the death of a few villagers, Vaulkhar came to the realization they could not take them all. As much as he'd of liked to return the dead to their families, it just wasn't possible. Making the executive decision, he ordered the bodies be grieved momentarily before being thrown into a geyser, for the planet to take them. It was not the greatest or prettiest of ceremonies, it was still to be done, out of respect. They lived workers, died warriors, an honorable showing. The wounded were loaded into one of the wagons within the middle of the procession before they started off once more.

As the day went on and the sun began to streak across the sky, the beasts returned, but never to attack. Instead they tailed the procession of wagons, waiting for the opportune moment to strike. They would not allow them to set up a defense or rest. Their plan was obvious; march the villagers to the point of exhaustion or death, and claim the prize they came for. Vaulkhar would not allow that. He ordered the continue movement, without hearing any of the complaints. The villagers he stood to defend and lead knew why he did it, and many accepted it. Those with blasters were ordered to fire on any beasts that came to close, purely to thin out their ranks.

The day went from bad, to good, to bad, to worse.

Another menacing door threatening any further progress opened after a bit of flirting with a security spike and let the Mon Cal Sith proceed. So far he had managed to get past the robot guards without revealing himself – this role of creeping through paths of shadow and remaining unseen suited him well. Always listening for the sentry droids rolling by, Veles quickly slipped across a well-lit gap and right into a room on his right where the cold wall he had sneaked along ended with a black gap where nothing but inviting darkness could be seen. Only the excellent eyesight provided by the cybernetic prosthetic revealed this parody of a room to be a small office, complete with a desk bathing in black and a terminal sitting on its top like a king. One tap of his webbed claw into the panel and the machine’s screen woke up from its dream, showering the Sith infiltrator in light. A brief glance revealed it to be nothing more than a personal computer with no information relevant to the research. Shame. Still, this moment of respite prompted Veles to ascend through the Force’s plains and find his beloved [member="Darth Zarrah"], lovingly brushing against her presence.

“Darling, what would you like me to cook for dinner?”

Collecting herself, and her thoughts for what is was worth, she walked through the rubble and dead bodies caused by the fighting between her undead and the lunatic. She shot a passing glance at the duo, ducking inside one the last room in the hall. Her eyes smiled and danced a jig when she discovered a lab; a lab untouched by time itself. Despite the smell of stale air, and the lack of scientists or droids, the lab looked as if it did when it was in use; minus the electricity to run it.
Everything was dark except for one glass cabinet; inside sitting was a series of vials containing various colourful fluids. Standing in front of their glass tomb, she peered into it trying to read the labels attached to each vial. Most had been preserved from the cool temperatures in the cabinet to keep whatever was inside those vials dormant. A few were labeled in a language she didn't quite understand herself.
"The only way to find what we came for is to take them all."
Using a small metal case designed for transporting glass vials, she began to load it up with every vial gently placing them in the case. When she found Seras, her love would know exactly which vial contained the virus they came for.

She arrived late to the gathering, but the timing and setting was precisely how she wanted it. Her goal was to mine the rare metal phrik and use it in her new creation of armour. She was stilling trying to find her place in her new home, this Covenant of the Black Rose. She was one of the few in the group that didn't wield the ancient magick they called the Force. What she wielded were her weapons, an attitude, and one hell of a mean temper. They might not be much compared to the Force, but they served her well up to this pointe.

She led the three mining droids assigned to her down into the mine shaft, where she could already hear the hammering and clanking of droids hard at work. Seems she wasn't the only one that had a vision of a well stock pile of phrik. The droids, created to work in such environments, switched on their lights, illuminating the area in front of her. The armour she wore was not perfect, nor was it quite cumbersome compared to the ones she had seen; but she was still getting use to it.

For nearly a month she slept in the armour, getting as comfortable wearing it as possible. But this armour was only a temporary fix, for her real armour was still in the infant stages of being raised to adulthood size. "Well old droids, time to put you to work."

The ship hurdled down to the to the surface once more this time to somewhere more quiet. It was a facility on the outreach of the village she had just evacuated the people from. While a negotiations of a new setup for the village need to be made Sanya is in need for some of the resources for a prigect of her own. Patching into one of the frigates above Sanya decided that company was going to be needed. "Udernik four have a team of my sisters sent to these coordinates. Then don't require and lethal force equipment. After all these are people scared and worried for there own." She closed the com channel not caring for a response. After all everyone on frigate four was croa and they will follow orders to the letter. It was always hard to determine day or night on a planet covered in thick clouds of sutt and other gasses. The only natural light with the red hue from it's surface. In a way with no day night cycle it must in a way make the people work more efficient. After all there is no night shifts or early it's just a time on a schedule. Even then most of the machines do all the work due to the hostile environment of the planets surface. Most settlements here end up wiped out some way or another whether it's from someone of the sith like nature angry at everything looking for phrik to steal or the magma burning it to the ground. She cut her ships speed down to half giving the shuttle time to load and catch up as she closed in towards the facility. It wasn't long until she had received a message the shuttle had been dispatched and was enroute to her ship.

Just sensing his beloved Togruta’s signature tingled Veles’ body with excitement. It was almost as if the woman stood right next to him – the powerful bond between the Sith Lady and her former apprentice played tricks on Veles’ mind and the Mon Cal gladly let it overwhelm him for a bit. With his big eyes closed shut, the haunting apparition came to life for as long as the Sith Lord desired it to manipulate his senses – [member="Darth Zarrah"]’s presence materialized right next to him. All logic telling him the woman was far, far away for that to be true has been promptly ignored and silenced. Her exotic scent reached the amphibious Sith Lord’s nostrils, her breath tickled his neck, and he was overcome with desire to rest his head on the red-skinned woman’s breasts. One webbed hand reached out to pull the living embodiment of perfection closer – and found nothing but air. She was not there. Letting out a sigh of disappointment before chuckling softly, Avreet opened his large eyes. A shame this beautiful illusion could not be embraced.

“My queen.”

Despite longing for the woman still, almost trembling at the thought of what awaited them after dinner, the Sith left the room, slipping into his greatest ally’s dark embrace again.

“How about a pureed vegetable soup?”

The droids went to work, pounding and smashing rock to reach the rich phrik hidden beneath it. The walls on the mine held a sheen of phrik on them, but they were not what she wanted. The phrik she craved would be untouched and unblemished by the hands of time. Pure phrik, in other words, was what her new armour desired. And how could she refuse such a simple request like that.

She left the droids to their duty and walked deeper into the mines, walking in step to the rhythm of the sounds of back breaking labour. There were others here searching and looking to claim the phrik for themselves, and it appeared to her that everyone had made some kind of deal to avoid working in the same area. She nodded to a couple of other workers, stopping briefly to chat with some. She had no mining skills to speak of, so she took time to ask questions to learn more about the mining process.

In less than one hour, she heard so much information pertaining to mining that she almost felt like a real miner herself. However, the mining life was not dangerous or exciting enough for her. She craved adventure and good times, neither could be found at the bottom of a mine shaft.

As time went by, Vaulkhar decided to walk side by side with the villagers. As much as he wanted to ride atop the wagon and enjoy a much easier day, he knew walking beside them would help generate morale, so that was what he did. From time to time he'd find himself conversing with those who were not shooting at the outlaying beasts. Many of the villagers had faith they'd make the trip, as they'd done so in the past. And with the help of a warrior of his caliber, they believed taking down the enemy forces during their journey would be even easier. Their faith in him was most certainly heart warming, as he never thought he'd receive such faith from a group of villagers who hours before did not know or trust him, but it didn't matter.

He was here to make sure they lived, and that was his plan.

As he looked out upon the horizon, the sun was slowly lowering itself below the wasteland plains. Many of the savages had stopped following them, but there was still a group that kept pace with them. It brought many questions to the mind of the Dark Jedi, but he remained silent, not to alarm the villagers.

Grima Volitu stepped back into the hallway leaving the room behind. Her search came up empty - but not all was lost. The size of this complex still bore two more levels to search. The first level had been secured and she ordered two troops to stay down here to guard the entrance - out of formality than security. "The rest with me," she said to the remaining troops leading them up the cracked stairs. The turbolift would have been quicker - but the lack of power to the facility rendered the easy way up as not an option.

Walking down the hallway she felt the tingle in her mind. "Avreet." So her former Apprentice turn lover had arrived to Demonsgate. Melding her mind to his - her voice whispered like a gentle breeze into his, "I'm currently at the Lab Complex. Join me here and later you can make me veggie soup." Slowly she pulled her mind from his - toying and teasing him as she did.

"Spread out and conduct your searches. The last room is mine."
