His beloved’s words still rang through Avreet’s mind as he stepped into the light, facing a map of the entire complex attached on the wall, eyes impatiently darting over the entire plan and quickly assessing the situation. The Togruta Sith Lady must have used a different entrance, making her way through another wing – it was the bond that showed her former student the correct way. Quickly searching through the web of hallways used by the previous occupants to travel through the tunnels, Darth Veles eventually found several lines leading in Zarrah’s direction. Storing the path in his mind, the amphibious Sith was soon reminded of the original task – the ground shook again under the Sith’s feet as if to prompt him to move. With Grima’s unspoken promise, another reason to hurry up presented itself. Further study of the map revealed several points of interest that may have hid Avreet’s primary objective. Parting with the well-illuminated portions of the labs once more, the assassin became one with shadows and quickly raced through the complex, too silent and too fast for the occasional sentry droid to notice. The first few rooms marked on his mental map admitted they had nothing to share, sending the Sith on his way towards another lab and office marked on the list.

It was then that a terminal finally gave away much of this particular lab’s secrets concerning the volcanos, possibly a bit more. A quick read confirmed the data’s identity – and Veles was away once more, leaving the structure groaning under the mountain’s pressure behind. Old service tunnels saw him in a different part of the labs he did not recognize; unlike the occasional trooper guarding the perimeter. A closer look revealed the all too familiar insignia of the Black Rose, and upon reaching out through the Force, the Mon Cal’s heart almost jumped out of his chest in joy. She was close, very close now. No longer would his imagination play tricks on him. It was almost as if she waited for him – and so the amphibious Sith Lord clasped his hands behind his back and slowly paced through the hallway, the sound of Black Rose soldiers searching through the labs reaching his ears, but not disturbing him from his way towards the Crimson Messiah. Soon enough, he’d repeat the motion he did with the illusion; this time though the beautiful figure of Darth Zarrah would not escape his grasp, allowing the two to share a kiss.

She had no idea that mining was such a slow process. She figured with the droids working harder than flesh and blood miners could, a well sizable load of phrik would have been in her possession by now; but she was wrong. She was growing bored with talking with the other miners, deciding in the short span of the conversations she learned all there was to mining, so she headed back up to the surface; leaving her droids to work.

Sitting on a rock, she began breaking down her weapons. They had gone to long without properly being cleaned and now was a good time to get that done. A dirty weapon was a useless weapon, and in her line of work that could be the difference between life and death, or from collecting a bounty and hearing about someone else boasting the claim they collected it. She had lost a bounty not because the mark had outsmarted her, but because she ignorant and not cleaned her weapons; a mistake she would never make a second time.

Her eyes looked out over the rock clusters, watching the beauty of the horizon shimmer from the heat of Demonsgate. The planet, she thought, could one day be a home for her when she no longer cared about the galaxy's problems. But that dream was a long time away.

Atop the skies over Demonsgate came the roaring sound of engines firing down into the atmosphere, the wind catching the sides of the Vessel and causing a pale drift, lines that flowed behind the YT-1300 like tails of clouds. At the helm sat Zarack Zorathi (though he no longer used his last name), still very young in comparison to his fellow brothers and sisters of the Black Rose, the events of his life had led him through small and fortunate opportunities; now a member and apprentice under the new Order, formerly known as the Covenant.

Word had spread to him, [member="Lady Exedō"] now his Master and a woman of truly intimidating power had ordered him to assist in this mission offering little in the way of explanation. It was by assumption that Zarack felt perhaps he would be of some difference in the conquest though doubts were rife within his mind as he held truly little skill in the force and wielded nothing but a light blaster pistol that had been ever so faithful in his fight for survival.

Bringing the massive durasteel bird down to soar low across the planets surface, Zarack swiftly moved to open a broad-range communications channel in the hope of establishing contact and finding where he was most needed. "Black Rose, this is Zarack Arkaos of the Baccara" His voice came through in confidence despite his eyes searching the view-port and his concentration being torn between the call and piloting his craft, "I have orders from Lady Exedō to assist, I can provide overwatch from the air should anyone need it.." there was a pause as he didn't really know what else to say yet didn't wish to sound incompetent and reflect the little experience he'd truly had, "What is your current location, give me a SITREP".

'A sit-rep?' He glanced off to the side in disbelief of himself. 'Throwing out military lingo now...-Wonderful, you're a blasted idiot'; he turned back to focus on the handling of the Freighters controls, closing the live feed and leaving the channel open in wait for a response.

Her head snapped to the right just as she finished assembling her rifle, the BAR-13 Mk1, and loading it up for battle. She cursed herself for not having her armour created yet, to many nights of distractions and far to many days of stagnation had left her with standard armour. But it was not the armour that made the Mando, it was her knack for dropping targets from meters away; hence her renewed though of swapping out the rifle for the Widowmaker.

She dropped behind the rock cluster, planting the barrel of her sniper rifle atop it; here right eye training on the dust cloud on the horizon. The range display on the sniper rifle's lens alerted her that several targets where at least one-hundred meters out, and slowly gaining ground. The wind blew the dust cloud away, revealing in it's former sand crested bubble were three individuals walking if they were drunk.

Taking a closer look, her jaw dropped slightly from the view her mind was picturing for her. The trio where dressed and outfitted like pirates, but it was their features that seemed like something right out of a holovid horror flick. "What in the kark are you?"

As the ship flew closer and closer to the facility the shuttle had caught up who her own. Looking at the map she was only a few kilometres out and wouldn't take much longer now. Her eyes would gaze at the hot magma below bubbling and spitting everywhere. She made sure to stay well above it as she flew over the violent wasteland. Opening a com with the shuttle next to her ship she was now able to see the facility below. "Shuttle keio come in." The was a moment of silence before a second of static. "We read you loud and clear." The voice was feminine and soft also a voice she remembers from several of the tests and strike teams. if she recalled it was the Jedi that had also been converted the same day. "I will need you to land on the same platform as me and no weapons. Do you understand." A brief second of static. "Yes Milady, I understand."

The ship's would swoop down to the platform below and land on the large platform. As soon as her ship had set down Sanya would cut the engines and collect her things. Looking through the window a group of people had exited the facility to most likely greet them or tell them to move. She began to move through the ship and to the boarding ramp at the back of the ship. Her eyes would immediately lock on to those who stood waiting. "Hello there offworlder. How could we be of service." The man spoke out to her. "I'm here for two intentions. I would like to acquire some phrik and also to talk about a devastating event that happened not far from here." Behind Sanya the team of five croa would leave the ship and stand behind Sanya. One of the people, a small woman with nightshade black hair would stare with open eyes like she was in awe at the croa. Sanya would simply give the girl a smile. The man would gesture to follow him. "Come with me it is cooler inside and we can discuss what you have to say. I'm aware of what happened so I presume you was the woman that saved the colony. My brother was one of those men you saved so you already have my gratitude." The door would swish open and they walked inside.

She waited for the trio get a bit closer, to observe their nature rather than outright drop them. She wasn't a killer but at the same time, she didn't want to see harm brought down on the miners. They weren't fighters, but citizens of the Black Rose that came here to mine phrik and sell it to make credits, or use it for their own needs. It was her duty to protect them, at all costs. A wind began to pick up, and with it came the grumbling sounds from the voices of the trio. They had appeared to have undergone some sort of transformation into madness.

"The labs," she said. "They must have found away to escape the labs and haphazardly made their way to the mines."

Sighting down one of the targets, she squeezed the trigger putting a blaster bolt into it's leg. She wanted to subdue them, not kill them. She didn't know if they could be cured or not, but it was a possibility that could be addressed. The other two went down with matching blaster bolts, all three laying on the ground wailing and howling.

"Three targets ready for extraction," she said into her comlink. "Take precautions and have the medical teams standing by."

The phrik processing was going forward as she looked over things now. Balaya was working hard to turn a few things into it as they sent off the scouts and the croa. Her hands gripping a crate of the phrik while she started loading it and omega squad were running forward with some of their attention on the different crates as Sanya was working to get further into the facility. "Sayna my pet keep it up and be careful , I am rather fond of you as it were." She said it with a shrug looking at her little death squad while they were moving forward and getting their attention on the different displays coming to her cybernetic implants. She wanted to ensure all of it was working properly for their takeover and restructuring.

There was more, as they moved through the base and found what they wanted. Seras wasn't opposed to watching with some amusement as she stood there seeing some of them with the psychotropics keeping them busy and she breathed with the mechanical sounds. Venefica was busy with her work while she moved having her attention go to a few of the rooms. Opening one as the phrik shipments from the processing plant was here to make sealed containers for the virus. Those were rumored to be able to survive a planets destruction and she could see the croa with her troopers moving through as they were being affected by the drugs in the vents but didn't know how to react or interact with things stroking the walls as she spoke. "Secure the phrik and take the containers to the ship. Continue searching for the virus."

Camellia awoke feeling both groggy and grumpy since she had hoped to sleep through this whole endeavor after having to go through everything else so far. The only reason she really had to tag along on all these ventures was to help her love out. Who, speaking of, appeared to have vacated the ship already as the Rendili woman looked around the vessel once she pulled herself out of the bunk. Seeing that Sanya was nowhere to be found on the ship she supposed that the other girl had left her asleep to try and let her sit this one out for a change. Sadly it seemed like it was taking longer than it should since she had woken up before they were all done.

Still, with Sanya already gone the Rendili woman wasn't quite sure what was going on right with the trip's status. It left her sighing as she moved to the ship's comm unit and put in Sanya's comlink code and wait for it to connect. "Hey Sanya, it's me Cam I just was calling in to ask whether or not you needed to cover something specific. If not I'll just bug you at regular intervals to check in."

She kept a close eye on three raving lunatics, rotating her blaster rifle between the three, as the medical team went to work to put them into restraints. She told the team that if they couldn't properly restrain them, then don't force the issue; there was no reason for anyone to get hurt. She wouldn't bring any mortal harm to them herself, but she would do what was necessary to prevent any of the medical personnel from being injured.

"Thank you for assistance, ma'am," one of the team said to her when the last one was restrained.

"Just make sure they receive the necessary medical attention," she replied.

"That will be our top priority, ma'am."

She watched as the three were loaded onto a medical shuttle, and when they were out of sight, she returned to the mine. Hopefully there would be good news upon her return.

The two were foing their thing, Balaya's attention on a few of the things they had as her attention changed to something enjoyable now. With the reports coming to them as she moved with more of her attention going to the reports. The crates were reaching the facility, Elara had more information on the one they were currently in and the excess phrik was being loaded. "Good proceed quickly apprentice." Her attention went to most of the things now when the sounds of gunfire and attacks came ont he comlink. Balaya remained ready to go but Elara had the datapad for her. "I see, head back to the ship nd I shall continue to this. Good work."

She was looking as the things now, with all the different things and her team of croa opening an area with some more attention. "We are inside." The phrik containers with the vials in them were secured as she held one of them and moved to a control center. "I have the control center, bring in the engineers and ensure their masks are secured." She was going over some of the things while pushing forward more of their attention. A vial being removed and in her hand while she checked it and felt stronger down here then she ever had before. Now she would have to work with what Venefica was doing and the council while her hands went over the computers.

Her apprentice was here, the darksider remained in her seat on the ship... well her ship. The old model black ship now with all of its upgrades as she pushed forwar looking over different parts and speaking into the comlink. "Apprentice, my dear pet, go and have some fun on that world. There is so much to do." Her smile came and remained on her face leaning back with one leg rising up and crossing onto the other. She set her hands on the arms of the seat with her rakata honor guard standing behind her while she started to head down in the stealth ship. "Venefica, this is quite a lovely world we can set everything up on."

Sanya's com would bleep as she walked through the facility, her steps would clack against the hallways metal floor as she pulled the com from her hip. The voice on the other end would only put a smile on her face. "Hello cutie. See your finally awake." Sanya would giggle a little. "Well while you was asleep kinda evacuated a village before they all got burned to death by magma so I'm just inside sorting out if this facility can home them temporarily and pick up some refined phrik. So your welcome to join me. Ill send one of our sisters to come get you."

Sanya would finally enter a room filled with terminals that over looked a canyon filled with lavafalls adding to the massive river of magma. In the center of the illuminated room stood a table and matching chairs around it. Sanya would take a seat at the table and looked at the man. She could see in the corner of her eye the girl looking at Sanya and the other croa in the room vigorously. It left Sanya curios what she was thinking about. Was she scared? Inspired? What ever it was she would ask soon after the important stuff was out the way. "So I'm wondering with that village no linger standing they have no place to go. I'm needing to know if you are able to house any and how many you can?" Sanya just got straight to the point after all civilians where important and she didn't want to waste time getting to the bottom of it. She knew not everyone can be housed here but even it it was a handful of families then that would be good. "Uhh yeah, yeah we can. We can maybe house around forty people but I can get the word out to other local places. Obviously they will need to pull the weight but it would be good form them to get onto an income and food and water at least." He said, it was obvious he was slightly shocked by it just been straight out and his demands where reasonable. "It would be best to give them chance to adapt first and get their heads around what happened but I'm sure they would be okay with working around the place."

The smell of dust, mixed with the ozone smells of droids and mining equipment, could be detected the moment she steeped back inside the mine. She made her way back to the her mining quadrant, stopping to check on the mining citizens of the Black Rose to say a few words of encouragement. The miners had amassed a meaningful pile of phrik for themselves, lending a chance of happiness that she would have at least an equal amount herself.

When she returned to her section, her eyes went wide with surprise. The droids, in her absence, had mined a sufficient amount of phrik for her, but it was not nearly enough for what she needed. Judging by the pile, there was at least fifty-five percent of the eighty-five percent she required for her armour.

Feeling slightly guilty about making the droids do all the work for her, she picked up a mining tool and went to work on one of the walls. Compared to the droids, she would not be nearly as quick and as efficient as they would be, but she was adding her own sweat into the mix.

Zarack's expression grimaced somewhat as he heard his Masters cold and almost deathly hearted voice come through the commlink with a sound of static that only seemed to mimic and emphasis her own devious persona. His right hand gripped at the throttle to the Baccara a little tightly in response and his shoulders went tense, a slight shiver running straight up his back while he stared back out through the view port in uncertainty. He'd been hanging low over the planets surface almost skimming some of the ridges and canyons within his modified freighter, waiting and repeating his message for any and all to hear and if only one respond, it would have settled his nerves yet even though it had been her, Zarack only felt less sure of himself as the questioned he needed answered still seemed to elude him.

"Forgive me Master but I have yet to make contact, you are the first I've heard from and the situation is still unclear. Who are we fighting and why are we here? Without proper identification through my ships navigational charts and a solid readout on my scanners, I can't tell friend from foe..." It was almost painful to say, to show so much inability to establish himself in the environment she'd sent him too so early on in his training, Zarack only cringed that little bit more within wondering what kind of response he'd receive from her.

The whole freighter shook violently as he threw the durasteel bird into a sudden overturn just narrowly missing the top of a rock archway, clearing over it be mere feet, glancing through the top of the cockpit as the ground briefly rushed over head and he soon stabilized his flight path, turning the baccara back over and heading for his Masters co-ordinates. "I'm in-bound Master, I can be of more use to you from the air at this point...".

Sighing since she guess she was doomed to come along with someone already on the way, the Rendili woman just smiled at her fiancee' and waved as she signed off. "Right, I'll be there soon sweetie. You'll have to fill me on everything so I understand what's going on." When the communication was over, Camellia was quick to go about making herself look more presentable for company with other people though the entire time her mind was rife with curiosity over what was possibly having gone on. Were any of the rescued villagers needing to. . . .come back with them to Rendili or Sekalus? That would be wonderful then, even though she felt a bit horrible she was hoping they had nowhere else to go to accept the offer. Perhaps she had too much bias to bring others to a bliss of a more glorious. . . .form.

Regardless, she would just follow Sanya's lead for this trip she supposed. So with that in mind the Rendili woman quickly exited the ship once she heard the bleep of communication from one of her love's followers for the trip and hoped she wouldn't be in the way by the time she caught up to the other girl.

As Sanya watched the man contact other facilities in the local area Sanya decided to wait outside the room for her love to arrive. She felt rather happy that the locals here was willing to help others although in a way everyone would get a benefit from this. The door swished open and the girl that had kept starting at Sanya and the other croa had stood on the other side as she until she walked into the corridor. Sanya gave a smile to the girl while looking at her. "Something on your mind miss?" She said to the girl as her back lent against the wall. The girls face would go red but pale at the same time. "Uhh hh n..no, nothing at all. Well actually yeah. I know of many species but not once have I ever read about anything like you and your group. What are you exactly? if you don't mind me asking." She said nervously and curiously. "We are croa, once human or twi'leks and many other before we transitioned to a better life as our true forms." The girl looked as if she was confused still. "Our species can pass on the croa strain to other people basically, and once it has entered their blood they change to what we are. But you will never find a male croa as we are all females." In a way the girl looked as if she understood. "So if you wanted you could make me like you?" Sanya came away from the wall and closer to the girl. "If that's what you want then yes."

Following the guard that Sanya had sent to guide her to her, the Rendili woman looked about the facility as well as her limited view granted her. In all frankness now Camellia was feeling rather bad that she had already missed out on the majority of what had happened. For her part she had simply desired to rest after everything else that they had had to run about and accomplish just to achieve one single goal. Adding more to that wasn't exactly at the top of her list of things to do, but if it was for Sanya she would do it without hesitation, albeit not without complaint. Although when she did finally catch up to her soon to be wed, Camellia hadn't expected for one of the people the other woman had saved to ask to join them. Considering this trip had nothing to do with those goals it was just a nice bonus she supposed as she grinned and just slid to a spot beside her dear Sanya.

"That is good, go and secure the facilities as needed. I will be up here and monitor your progress as needed but I shouldn't have to hold your hand." She looked at the comlink and turned it off while working on some of the things in the ship with her attention going to the two little girls that were standing there while she had Minerva and Bundori as well laughing to herself. "Come come it is time to see where you can have a new home maybe, if you get bored or hungry." Tapping their shoulders while she was walking with them through the ship as most of her attention went to the smaller things and the fun things she could do with them on the world.
