"...which means mate and/or brother-sister. We are gender neutral when it comes to labeling."

What was a gender?

And what what it have to do with a new troll? Why was there even a new troll in that sentence?

The more he tried to understand this secret Mando tongue gang sign language stuff, the more of a confused youngling that the small clone became. In any event, the Mando lady said she was going to look for Lok, and Three could make the fire for them in the meantime. "Okay, vod lady ma'am," the boy chirped obediently, collapsing back onto his bum as he set to work lighting the kindling.

He got the kindling going, adding in some leaves and grass for fuel until the fire pit was smoking. That ought to be ready by the time that she and Lok were back.

His job complete, the small Mandalorian clone shuffled over next to a tree, where he set to work setting up a little fort with twigs and leaves. He had some action figures in his backpack, and could make a base for them...

The youngster saw the Tor with a disappointed look on her face and her arms crossed her chest plate. Did he freak out or react all panicky? Absolutely not. The symptoms of the spice still lingered in his system which caused him to not worry about a thing and still be pretty happy. "Oh, hey, mom," the boy said with a giggle at Bree, This was totally not him at all. The sober and normal Lok Munin would've said something other than what the higher than the Tol Vermoc Mountains Lok Munin said. Vilaz and Bree still hadn't tied the knot fully, nor did the youngster and the golden blonde had bonded at all meaning it really wasn't appropriate for the Munin boy to be calling Bree "mom". Then again, he was in a different state that disregarded the facts of reality.

"Oh, come on. This is pretty lit, and I'm pretty sure you'd get a blast of it," the youngster said as he heard Bree saying things such as her and Vilaz not approving what he has done and something about consequences of what he did. He thought she was being silly from all that talk and was just joking around. The young Mandalorian then saw her extending her hand outward with her palm up which was an indication of giving up his spice and his lighter. The Munin thought that his could be stepmom wanted a hit from the spice he was consuming and didn't know she was going to confiscate it from him.

"Now we're talking! I knew you'd take a smoke out of this good stuff," and began to take out his lighter and stash from his utility belt and placed it on Bree's hand. "I'm dang sure you're gonna like it and want more." If only he knew that the spice he spent a couple hundred credits on was going to waste, then he'd probably lie that he had no more spice with him or figure out a way on how to get out of the trouble he was in now.

Briika took off her helmet, then quirked up a blondish-brown eyebrow at the Munin teenager after the boy called her "mom". Did Lok know something she didn't or was he just being funny? Most likely the latter because there had been no talk of the former yet between Bree and Vilaz. The couple were still exploring their feelings and getting to know each other better.

The blonde medic just shook her golden head and rolled her blue-green eyes at his silliness, then accepted the stash and lighter. "I think you missed a smoke there… The one that accidentally slipped back inside your pouch," Bree smiled knowingly, keen azure eyes catching that.

"Blast or not, this is not what leaders do when they are given charges to watch over. As a sworn Deputy of Clan Munin, you were given the responsibility by your Alor to supervise and mentor the clan's cadets. How can you do that when you are under the influence of drugs, hmm? You have put not only yourself in danger here the woods, but also others… Ade no less. This is not cool, Lok. Pretty di'kut move, if you ask me," she offered, then turned to walk back towards camp.

"Well you coming or not… I guess I could leave you to the bear that is stalking around just above the treelike. Bet you didn't notice the markings, did you? Otherwise I don't think you'd be toking it up out here," Bree chuckled.

"Three should have the fire ready for us when we get back, and I'm hungry. I suppose you are too by now."

"Oh, I didn't know you wanted to smoke the whole stash, mom," the youngster said in a giggle at Bree as he gave her his last smoke of spice. Right now, the fethed up Lok thought that his father's significant other was addicted to smoking spice, but the sober Lok knew that wasn't the case because the golden blonde's attitude at what Lok did basically said that she was very upset and disappointed in the Munin boy, and she was going to dispose all of his spice that he took with him on this camping trip.

The teenager was then given a lecture from the battle medic in regards of the drugs, the cadets, and responsibility which he didn't really take too serious at first, but when the normal him woke up, then he would really take it serious. "I don't know about you, mom, but I think this was a fun move rather than a dumb one," the teenager replied back to Bree in a goofy tone which clearly showed that he didn't care what the Tor said.

There was also a bear within near the vicinity of where Lok and Bree were at, but that wasn't the reason why he followed the Tor back to the camp. He was hungry and the sound of food perked his ears. One thing about spice was that it would make anyone go hungry whine consumed. "You bet that I am hungry, mom," the boy said to his adopted father's romantic interest as the duo walked back to the camp, and Lok still hallucinating different things. "I didn't know rancors could fly."

War in the Outer Rim.

Suffering under the cruel hand of Count Doofus, the people of the planet are holding out for a hero when - in answer to their desperate cry - the soldiers of the Clone Army descend upon the villainous forces of evil with all the fury of Mandalorian justice!

THE PLANET
V E L M O R
TOL VERMOC MOUNTAINS

"Pew pew PEW!"

The young clone indeed had the fire going by this point.

Entertaining himself, the small boy had pulled out a set of action figures. They were supposed to be the Watchmen of the Galaxy, a recent holovid action movie that had sparked a successful line of children's merchandise. Even a Taungsday morning children's holocartoon.

But, in the hands of 3X744, these were not the minor characters of a holovid... but the real heroes of the Clone Wars.

Clone Troopers.

"You'll never stop me, Two-Vee-Five-Seven-One! You will only die trying!" the child said, doing his best voice acting to date as he held up the physical placeholder for Count Doofus in his head, which was actually the action figure for Hydra Bob - a minor recurring comedy relief character whose scenes mostly constituted being a henchman pressed into getting the heroes coffee.

Lawyers for the estate of Count Dooku would likely protest if they knew of this satire taking place.

In his other hand, the boy held up the action figure for Captain Jeb "Star-Reign" Prekt, who was the stand-in for the heroic CC-2V577 - the heroic and legendary and heroically legendary Clone Commander who bravely battled the nefarious forces of Count Doofus' droid army. "But I WILL stop you!" the boy cried, as the action figure bobbed up and down in the air. "Or die trying!"

Were Briika and Lok back yet?

Had they left?

Was there a bear about to eat him?

Three had no idea. He was busy at the moment. This was a very professional theatrical production of The Adventures of Commander 2V577 he had going. He couldn't be bothered to keep tabs on which Mandalorian or bear was coming or going from the camp. Heck, he barely remembered to check on the fire now and again. He was playing at the moment.

And playing was serious business.

Briika took the last smoke from the teenage Munin, then answered. "Don't tempt me to light it all up in front of you," she said, meaning burn it in the fire, though the secondary smoke from the spice weed would give every one a high within breathing distance. No, the battle medic would have to dispose of the confiscated illegal drug another way.

The golden blonde ignored for the most part the wild comments coming from behind her as they walked back to camp. She was still trying to figure out how to tell Lok's buir about this incident. Vilaz would indeed be mad, and his son would be in the dog house, but more so the kid needed help for his addiction. If Briika could somehow turn this negative into a positive, it would be all for the better… but how?

When they entered the camp site, a fire was going nicely and the young Fett clone was seen playing off to the side with some mini figures. It was endearing to see the boy enacting a battle, but more so having fun doing it like children should.

"Vor entye, Three. Thank you for building such a good fire. It will be perfect for cooking the rabbits. Now why don't you boys go down to the waters edge of the lake and wash up for our meal. It should only take about ten minutes to make," Bree smiled, then looked over to Lok.

"And you sir, remember what I said about being a good leader and responsibility," she added with a meaningful gaze from her blue-green eyes.

"OH KARKING HELL."

The trio had visited Azure.

There wasn't much there.

That world sucked.

Upon leaving for back for Mandalore, however, the captain of the transport vessel had mistakenly driven them right into an asteroid field floating next to the Khorm system. Pulling out of hyperspace immediately, their wing clipped a rather sizeable asteroid. The ship began to malfunction and lose control.

It almost seemed like they would all instantly die.

One of the co-captains of the vessel was seen strapping on his atmospheric suit to withstand the pressure of space. He turned, gave Draco the finger, and jumped into the only escape pod. Ra looked upon the man in terror.

It was all happening so fast.

The escape pod launched. They had no means of escape.

The ship hurtled towards Khorm.

----

Ra woke up what seemed like hours later on the frozen tundra of Khorm, rubbing his head.

He was bleeding badly.

There was fiery wreckage all around.

....how was he alive...?

He stumbled to his feet and began to look around.

"No answer, 6PO, I guess, the Alor'e council has granted me the right to rebuild the abandoned base as I see fit"

"Two squadrons of vode; will Clan Lok assume responsibility for the base on Azure?"

"Maybe [member="'Marcus Lok"] won't like us having a starfighter base on Azure, but since Clan Lok found the property, it is Clan Lok property now"

"How will you ferry the goods here?"

"I can always ask Star Tours to send an AT-AT barge with the following materials to get the works started: a prefabricated hypermatter reservoir, 500 tons of duracrete, one Roto-Rooter, a few bunk beds, four sonic showers and four toilets"

The damage is mostly at the level of duracrete, but the reinforcement rods are mostly intact. Since there were cracks but the structure was still workable, Cathul promptly passed an order for all the elements she discussed with M-6PO. It was truly bare-bones at this point for letting the pilots stationed on Azure live on station, and future refurbishments would include more command-and-control devices, like the standard combat aerospace control equipment, communications equipment as well as some equipment for drilling and for other things like R&R and a sickbay. And no, she won't be moving her practice to Azure - that will make the strain on the patient relationships even worse. She knew counselling was the key to their healing, they have some problems but having them travel all the way to Azure was a big no-no to some of them, especially those with PTSD that don't even have medical clearance to undertake space travel.

Ginnie Ordo had finally gotten permission to take her ship out off the Ordo Homestead. It was time to run! Time to visit a planet for the heck of it and give her growing Tuk'ata a chance to run wild. Wembley was beginning to learn some grunts and clicks, soon he'd be able to mimic basic words, if the Tuk'ata ate its' proper food and learned like Ginnie had to in her lessons.

The Tuk'ata raced, jumping after avian creatures and growling into the landscape. Ginnie threw a stone in the air and smacked it with a thick tree branch. Wembley raced for it. Ah, the air on her Beskar'gam!

W-what was that!?

A stream of fire cascaded down to the planet's surface not far from Ginnie's location. "Wembley! Come!" Ginnie whistled, running toward the dangerously burning gnarl of wreckage.

"What is that?" Ginnie jogged. "Is that a..." She started running. "An escape pod!!"

Ginnie sprinted.

The escape pod looked Mando'ad in origin. She knew her fellow Mando'ade were in the system, it was the only way her Buir would let her go out by herself, but now an escape pod fell from the sky? Ginnie looked up, there didn't appear to be a space battle. Nothing on her comm read-out.

The deaf Mando saw the escape pod explode. She clicked her crushgaunt and motioned forward. Wembley sprinted toward the wreckage. "Oh sweet bippy..."

Manipulating fire was the one thing Ginnie excelled at. Force Healing? Nope. Mentalism? Nope. Massive boughts of Telekinesis? Nope. Weather manipulation? Nope. Ginnie knew fire. The 17 year old Rally Master threw out her hand and a coil of the flames raced toward her pink Beskar'gam. She dug into the flames, pulling them out and away from the potential bodies inside. A bush nearby combusted, as Ginnie suppressed the fire around [member="Ra Vizsla"].

Wembley sniffled and snuffed around, growling and snapping loud barks as he smelled meat. Alive, juicy, slightly stringy meat.

Meat meant people. The Sith Hound scratched his 6 inch claws into the side of the wreckage, prying what he could away. Most was too much for the adolescent beast. Wembley yipped and bellowed.

"Oya! Oya Mando'ade! Is anyone alive!? My Tuk'ata is sniffing you out, he won't hurt you... long as you don't shoot at him." Ginnie called out, her HUD pinging various shapes and temperate differences in the IR readout.

Donanyd. It was just another graveyard for a planet that once was for a people that would never be the same again. All of that was irrelevant, now, in the face of continual industrial expansion. There was a treasure trove of metals still to be tapped out here and Bhaltair was dead set on claiming it first. The costs of funding a mining operation were much higher than typical sale channels would have been. However, if they were to mine just a fourth of this planet's holdings, they would break even. Anymore than that and the cost risk would be effectively neutralized and the venture would prove to be most profitable.

This mining operation needed to be a success. They needed a win after yet another attack on his holdings, even if it was a financial one. If they could be successful enough to make the operation last until the resources ran full out, then they could be looking at a third facility in the future. Of course, that was a ways off, yet. First things first, they had to set up their forward mining point and maneuver positioning for multiple mining lasers, drills and collectors.

When the Tor threatened Lok of lighting up all of his stash in front on him, he obviously didn't take it too serious. He actually thought that she was going to smoke all of the spice at once, and that was pretty sick and cool to fethed up Lok Munin. His other side would know that Bree actually meant on disposing all of the drugs that he brought with him at this camping trip. Part of him would actually agree with his adopted father's significant other's actions, and the other part of him would feel like something was being taken away from him. His source of joy and happiness which allowed him to forget all of his concerns and worries. "Dang, that's pretty wicked on smoking the whole stash, mom. Wait till dad knows he's with a bad girl," the youngster said to Bree with a wild giggle. If Bree was his mom, then who knows what would've happened. Not only would he be disciplined by Briika, but also by Vilaz and that just spelled out double trouble for the youngster.

After walking and saying so many meaningless comments, the duo got back to the camp and there was a fire going on which was made by Three. Lok, still being high, thought that the crimson tendrils of the campfire had small people dancing. "That is so sick! Can everyone see those people dancing," he asked aloud to everyone here in the camp which really made him look like a fool. A fool that gave the cadets something to laugh about. Was Lok embarrassed? Not in this state of his.

The golden blonde then told both Three and Lok to go and wash their hands with a smile, but the battle medic gave the Munin boy a meaningful look with those azure eyes from her and told him to remember about responsibility and leadership. The youngster didn't know what Bree was talking about, but he said to her in a silly manner, "Okay, mom," and went off to wash his hands with the Fett clone.

Not a sign of anyone. Ugh.

This planet was awful.

Mand'alor looked in different directions. His HUD was broken from the crash. He had no idea which was was north, south, east or west.

No navigation at all.

Ra wondered if he might have to follow the direction of the crash debris. Yes, of course. His training was beginning to kick in. He'd been in worse situations, well before he was ever given a title. The behemoth Gurlanin began walking in the direction of the nearest large piece of debris. It was concaved into the ground, having seemingly done some damage to the nearby surroudings. Permafrost... the wreckage had pierced through it.

Something shined before.

Crystals. No, ore.

Ra recognized this...

He picked off one of the crystals and licked it.

Agrocite!?

Right. This must be Khorm.

Full of fuel.

He tossed the crystal into the flames, and rocked the area with a massive explosion. It did no damage to the Iron Wolf, but hopefully it would help him be found by any survivors or hints of civilization on this barren tundra world....

The next day, Cathul was reading through the invoice she received from Star Tours and the suppliers Cathul placed orders from, all merged into one big invoice. That was a very quick turnaround time. She was charged roundtrip for the first order of materials: a second one will arrive in a matter of days, with the orders being placed while the first one was being delivered.

----------------------------------

Hiring a Star Tours AT-AT barge for two days: 20,000 credits
1 prefabricated hypermatter reservoir, 2,000 tons capacity: 40,000 credits
500 tons of duracrete: 10,000 credits
1 Roto-Rooter autochef from Ringovinda Systems: 5,000 credits
4 sonic showers: 7,000 credits
4 toilets: 3,000 credits
24 bunk beds: 15,000 credits

Total bill: 100,000 credits

Payable within 30 standard days of receipt

----------------------------------

She estimated three trips would be necessary, while the working teams promised by Clan Lok took longer to arrive than she thought, she had to begin the work by herself, starting with the Roto-Rooter, the plumbing, the bunk beds, leaving the masonry to be done later other than in the washroom. But the hypermatter tank had to be assembled before the last trip would be made, since Cathul knew that an AT-AT barge whose holds are full of hypermatter could contain only hypermatter.

First things first, they had to digitally map out their surroundings. No official, detailed map layouts of the field existed for it was time consuming and only valuable to few. The didn't have to do it all at once, though. They could easily take the task little by little, as their operation went along. Whilst the area was being mapped, ore sensors were also sweeping the area, picking out the sweet spots to focus on and helping to enhance the new map's details. Of course, there was always the problem of drift. For the same reason that galactic map routes had to be updated constantly to account for the shifting nature of the universe, so to would they have to account for the small amount in which the asteroid field moved and drifted relatively in space.

Local mapping was almost done when the order was sent out to start preparing targeted spots for impending mining. Tapper droids and their respective vessels moved in closer to get the job done. They set about marking them specifically for the mining vessels to easily set a tracker on their targets. Crusty overlay of rock was lasered away to reveal ore closer to the surface, while more deeply embedded ore was left for the mining vessels to hassle with. Soon enough, the tappers were done and moved out of the way. It was time for the real mining to commence.

Mining vessels came around slowly and followed latching procedures onto the surfaces of the asteroids. Once they became fastened to the large rocks, everything would be a typical breeze for these workers. Now, it was time to pay attention to the mining facility installation a little ways away. To provide longevity and living quarters to those in for the long haul, a mining facility was being built into the side of the largest discovered asteroid in the field. The foundation was close to being laid, so they were still a ways off.

Bhaltair closed and rubbed his eyes and leaned back from the monitor. Of course, naturally, the business man himself was not present. He had far too much to do, as it was, here at Crescentia. However, he had set aside specific time to supervise the early experiences of this new venture. Whilst the facility was built, mining vessels going back to and from massive cargo ships would have to suffice. Of course, this wasn't all being paid out of CI's pockets. It was a joint venture with the Mandalorians. The costs and profits were being split fifty-fifty.

Still no sign of anyone. Ugh.

Ra had been walking back and forth for what felt like forever, tossing agrocite in the fire and watching the pretty colors.

The night was getting colder on Khorm, and Ra had found his only place of solace away from the cold. He was keeping warm by the fire, periodically returning to retrieve agrocite and tossing it in the fire to keep it going. The fuel leaking from the salvaged wreck of the transport also helped, and the Iron Wolf could only hope it would last all night.

How longer were nights on this forsaken rock?

And where was all the fauna?

Ra clutched his blaster, wondering if now should be when he went to hunt.

No, first make a sign for others to wait for you here, before you do.

He began collecting salvage to spell out WAIT HERE, GONE HUNTING on the ground before he began to prepare for a hunting trip. Surely someone was looking for him.... Though perhaps they would wait until morning.

Draco held onto his seat as the vehicle careened off course rocking and bucking in the wind as the Pilots attempted to save it. The shuttle was beyond saving, it was going to crash, and crash it did. It reminded Draco why he hated using small craft for transport between planets, until it smashed into the surface of the ground.

Ra had been collecting Agrocite for a while by the time Draco came to.

"Well, we crashed. What is it you want to do while we wait for pick up Mand'alor?" He asked stretching his back and legs as he walked from the shuttle. They were stiff and achy after the crash and he leaned from side to side feeling the muscles and tendons pull taunt, and then relax.

Right now he had a sign that said <WAIT HERE, GONE> which left a little mystery to the reader as to why they would wait if the Mand'alor was gone.

Wilco, She replied to him. She was also getting her own supply of phirk from here, as she did on Alderaan. She had started questioning her loyalties, after hunting [member="Darth Erebos"]. She had always wanted acceptance since, she had left the one sith. Yet again it was them accepting her, she was meant to be with the sith. Her mind was finally made up, she would help the mandalorains no more after this. She going to be sith again, it was her nature, and the mandalorians hated sith, so they hated her too. So she would leave to her home on serenno, keep her piece until she the strong enough again, until the sith where strong enough again to become a threat to galaxy. She would bide her time, till then. Though she would not lift a finger to help the clans again after this, this was the last time. Please keep me posted when the pirates come, I will be ready for them. Though I do suggest you don't come into mine when they are, as droids have weapons that make a lot of noise. She waited for his reply, this was her first act of betrayal.

All that Cathul did for all these years was to practice therapy, and, while she had patients from nearly every walk of the Mandalorian military, most of the patients were ground combatants, with a few space crewmen sprinkled in, including but not limited to fighter pilots. She could talk at length about beskar'gams and all the equipment their patients would fit into one: a back shield like the Mr. Bubble, silicar lining, thermal gel, HUD with night (thermal) vision, some of which she ultimately decided against because she was not one to fight on a regular basis and she was a Force-user. And also she could talk at length about infantry weapons because nearly all discussions of equipment she had with patients revolved around either weapons or armor. But when it came to command and control equipment for fighter bases, she was totally clueless. Not one combat controller (or wing commander) mentioned starfighter command and control equipment even though she has one or two of these people a year.

"M-6PO, tell me about what a starfighter base's war room would usually have for equipment"

"Sensor arrays on the base's exterior would feed data to the main sensor display, and also a subspace radio transceiver with a 100 light-year range attached to said sensor array"

"The subspace radio transceiver would far outrange the sensor array then. We also need utility droids, a dozen WA-7s, 24 R9 astromechs, a bacta tank, an IM-6 droid"

"Hold it right there, Cathul. Is there enough space for all that equipment?"

"This is standard procedure for building a new starfighter base. I know what works and what doesn't when it comes to pilot well-being: I'd rather let the pilots stationed here decide about the content of their R&R equipment"

The drop ships of the Vanguard had finally landed on the docking pad where they were greeted by armed security personnel that were affiliated to the cloning corporation here on Cartao. No doubt were the guards concerned of the task force that the Munin had brought with him; however, it wasn't the size of an invasion force because that would just be ridiculous to when they were here at one of Spaarti's many locations.

"Halt, you're going to have to leave your warriors here, Mandalorian," said one of the security guards which appeared to be the unit commander of this squad of Spaarti security forces right here on the docking pad.

Was Vilaz going to obey the orders of this man that was a foreigner? Absolutely not. He was the Akaan of the Mandalorians and he would and will live up to that position. The only few people he would ever obey in his life was the Mand'alor, raiding leaders, and most importantly Bree. "Sorry, pal. That's just not gonna happen when I'm investigating this facility," the Alor of Clan Munin replied back to the unit commander in a serious tone.

This caused the Spaarti security officials to raise their weapons at Vilaz and the Vanguard of Mandalore. No doubt did the Cuir Rekr's men responded back with their guns aiming and ready to fire, but Vilaz didn't drew out his own weapons. Instead, he stepped forward to the man and said to him, "Mine are bigger than yours," in a tone full of victory and dominance. A smirk was behind Vilaz's helmet when the man ordered his troops to stand down. The Munin and his warriors then were escorted into the building and would lead them to the director that was the overseer of this cloning facility so that the Akaan's investigation could commence.
