Location: Thrustra
There was a panic breaking out on the streets, or at least that's what it sounded like. It was mid afternoon when Ashi rose from her simple bed mat, her eyes heavy with sleep, a consequence of her late night habits. The rickety housing that she had been calling home for the last few days shook, as particles of dirt fell down from up above; sprinkling the room in a thin layer of earth. Scowling, she rose from her bed, moving to the small window of her flat, and peered through. The sight the welcomed her made her do a double take, as Sith troops were in the middle of attacking the planet. The thoughts of sleep vanished, as she made ready, drawing her
tunic and cloak, and ensuring her straw hat was placed upon her head. It was going to be a long day, one that she had spent much of her life preparing for. Collecting her three blades, and fastening her shoes, Ashi moved to the window, looking out upon the city that was under siege, and leapt out to rescue it.

MOOD
Something about this place reminded her of home, which certainly wasn't a good comparison. Ashi approached the first group of Troops she found, her smoking pipe still in her mouth as she puffed on it, her steps silent and equally paced as she neared her first combatants for the day. There were six of them apparently rounding up a group of civilians for force only knows what reasons; it certainly couldn't have been good. Two of the men seemed to be frisking the captives before them, which appeared to be a young family of Selphi's. The other four seemed to be in the midst of talking, which was about to go poorly for them. Taking in a draw of her pipe, Ashi shifted her jaw, moving the pipe with the tip of her tongue, as she re-positioned it so her deceleration to the troops before her.
"Sith Invaders, lay down your arms and leave in peace, for you stand before Jedi Master Ashi, Breaker of Wind." Set her right hand onto the hilt of one of her blades, Ashi watched the pair of soldiers turn to face her, their heads turning to one another as if they were confused as to who there were facing.
"Breaker of Wind? What kind of stupid name is that?" One of the soldiers asked, pointing his rifle towards the master, though she remained unshaken. Reaching out with the force, Ashi could feel the tension in the air, the rising torrent of stress being put onto the beings before her, as the master got a read on just who she was facing.
"Make another step and we will blast you into next week, grandma."
They were rookies, eager for combat, their warriors spirit had not yet been tempered by noble blood. Ashi would see that fixed. Taking in another puff of her pipe, she took one step forward. That grandma comment was going to cost them. Drawing the blade with her right hand, she moved, side stepping past the first blaster bolt that sailed her way, and rewarding the first attacker with the severing of his arm. She spun around, her left hand freeing the second blade on her hip, as she loosed it towards the next man aiming up a shot. Giving it an extra shove with the force, the blade sailed through the air, slamming into the man's chest and puncturing deep into his chest cavity. Before his body had hit the ground, Ashi leapt to soldier number three, bringing the blade down and into his shoulder, stabbing into the ribs of the solider. She felt the body give, unconsciousness taking hold of him, and flipping towards the forth attacker as a response. He was more prepared, loosing a shot as she entered her second flip, only to watch in horror as Ashi raised the blade and knocked it away. Landing on her feet, she came down hard with the pommel of her blade, smashing it upon the dome of the forth man, breaking the helmet and rendering him unconscious as a result. The fifth man went for a grenade, the 'ping' of the pin being pulled caught Ashi's attention, as the jedi turned to find the man running, flinging the small device towards her as he did so. Fool. Taking the time to seethe her sword, Ashi reached out, forming a pocket of air around the explosive as it was in mid fall, and held it there as it harmless exploded. Armed with a new weapon, she took the fragments intended for her, and directed it towards the man who had caused them; there was only one man left. Reaching out with her left hand, Ashi retrieved her second blade, as her attention fixated on the last man of the squad of six. The one who had referred to her as grandma. Her blade was still dripping with the blood of his comrades, and she could see his trembling legs from here.
"So, if you are done trading insults, perhaps we can barter. Information for your life, yes?" She inquired, stepping forward towards the man, though he tried in vain to retreat. Ashi looked to the family, giving the slightest of nods for them to leave. There was no need for the children to witness any more bloodshed here.
After a rather...tense conversation, Ashi would get the information she desired. Taking advantage of a near by Orbak stable, Ashi set her path towards the palace, hoping that maybe she could make it in time.
If she only knew what awaited her there, Ashi might not have gone alone.
