I love how in a SSC Dom we are seeing characters in said SSC Dom who don't really like the SSC and aren't there to help the SSC in said Dom.
Man, if this isn't a plot device for Civil War I'll eat my hat.

I equally love how Connor complains about the dark sides in SSC, then uses the dark side at Ruusan. Then complains about how 'dark forces' manipulate SSC into war, after always demanding that the Silvers 'take action against Sith because sword of light'. I don't tell you how to write your char though.
As for civil war, if that's a joke, by now it's a tremendously lame and unoriginal one. If it's serious, it's as ridiculous as ever.
Sio and Charlyra fought at Ruusan, so I find casting such aspersions on them absurd. Siobhan is not happy with SSC, she has her reasons for that. If you want to know why and actually understand, you can ask. Because saying 'they don't wanna help SSC! Bad! Civil war!' is ridiculous.
Cursory reading of Sio's posts would show she's there for a family matter. Same with Nato. Lyra is aiding an SSC Jedi Master.
If you're that fixated on getting a shot at Sio for no logical reason, just say so.

I've read all posts and I genuinely meant it's interesting to see character journeys with some who don't like the SSC being there and those who do. To me it simply adds a bit of variety and drama to things. There's that uncertainty there and underlying motives for others.

To be blunt, your previous post does not reflect that and is the exact opposite of what you're saying now. It boiled down to 'people don't like SSC! Why are they here? Civil War!' Right now you're saying 'I said all those things, but didn't mean them'.
So if you want to actually enquire about chars and express your interest in their journey, there's far better ways to word it.
Why is Siobhan on Kessel? To help and hopefully talk some sense into her wayward daughter (and find her granddaughter). It is tremendously unlikely that she'll be succesful and get a happy ending, which'll devastate her.
Why is she in SSC? Her company is based there, as is her home (Tygara), and she has some friends there, though she's in a very sour mood regarding the Silver Jedi since Ruusan. Whether she's right or wrong is up to the reader. Many of her views will always be at variance with the mainstream because she's a Dark Jedi. I've always been open about the fact that her primary allegiance is to her family.

I admit I still wanted the idea until recently but know it ain't going to happen so, hey-ho.
I'll never tell you how to write your character nor do I want to have any say in where you take them because they are just that - YOUR character. I understand her motives and understand her journey.
I find it all interesting and dynamic between characters within the SSC.
I'm not going to argue or defend myself as, basically, no shots were taken or ever will be taken, and I don't demand characters or Factions go in any one direction, so it's all good on my part and I will continue seeing your journey wherever it takes you.
So can we write together now and forge alliances with our damaged characters...or just take it one step at a time and not run before we can walk.

The SSC has always shown itself a place where those of many alignments and affiliations can work together towards a common goal, even when their religious beliefs have clashed. What has mattered is that Firemane, the Silver Jedi, the Rangers and all the other groups have a set of common goals, enemies and a code to follow.
