Will Kessel become the SSC's maximum-security prison? If so, what kind of ships would be necessary to ferry prisoners to (and from) Kessel?

Is it better for the SSC to ferry prisoners with corvette-sized (picket or not) ships? Frigate-sized ships? Cruisers? Star Destroyer-sized barges?

I'm not entirely sure what the consequential goal of this Dominion would be. To my knowledge, I believe we are just bolstering Southern wall against the ST.

With that said however I'm sure no one would be against you starting the establishment of a prison of some kind in the system. Maybe come and join the dominion and you can figure put what would be needed while also developing on your prison idea.

I apologize for my lack of commitment to this thread, I've had trouble with my muse for this character. So once again I apologize, luckily I haven't seriously impacted the story in any way shape or form.

[member="Charzon Loulan"] the sanctums prison was on malachor v when we built it before the netherworld but a prison in kessel I don't think there was one planned. Mostly it is bolstering defenses and securing the different groups in the hex to be with the sanctum.

Also we do have the spirit if we want a prison as Shmi helped us move it secretly

The trick is that, with more territory, the more prison space will be needed. Malachor V may have been just fine, until the Wheel and the Kessel hexes may force Malachor V to capacity.

Plus Kessel hosted a prison in canon. But my company isn't one to build planetside prisons; prison ships, however, I can build.

While I understand what you're saying about prison space, I think it would be foolish to have a high-security prison on the edge of SSC space, especially when that edge is a direction we think an enemy might be coming from. The only way it would make sense to me is if it were a honeypot.

Hey!

So as the Kessel Dominion coming to an end, I got an idea. You know that the people of Kessel are in very bad situation, they were effected by the battle between Jedi and Sith, they have been put through a rabies-like disease, the planet they live in is in no condition to be lived, the saved slaves need protection, education, new homes... Kessel still has a good potential for a story and I think it would be a great continuity and closure for the people in the planet.

So how about we create a faction thread and try to solve these problems? Also, strengthen the relations between the planet and SSC as they don't like Jedi moving around their planet, since they basically think that Jedi are the reason that they've been put through this much suffering.

This sounds like a fun thread for the faction, if you wish to start a new thread in the OOC area to see if you get the interest by all means go ahead.

As for the Dom, we need one more post to finish it off. (or two if needed to finish off story arcs) I am not concerned by someone going over the limit, the threat of rebellion is there regardless.
