Dorin Excoriate [Closed]

Imperial Inquisition Strikes!
The Purge of Dorin
Near Dorin Hyperspace
Aboard the Wyyrlock Sith Star Destroyer, the strict and lean face of Vice-Admiral Darkin surveyed the empty void of space with his arms clasped gently behind his back. Marching up to him a young lieutenant saluted and prepared to be addressed. "Yes Lieutenant Armstradt, what is it." Darkin groaned. "Vice-Admiral, the probe pods are ready for launch sir. All droids are fully functional and ready." Darkin turned his head slightly to address the lieutenant, "Very good. You may launch the probe droids. Zero in on the previously detailed locations." Armstradt nodded and went on his way to glare down at the bridge officer pits on the start destroyer bridge and bark the commands to those we commanded.

From the bottom hulls of the Star Destroyers a cluster of Sith Probe Droid Pods blasted from the lock-in positions and plummeted through space before streaking across the murky atmosphere of the Kel Dor world Dorin. Like a false meteor shower they burned through sky before finally landing in a ball of explosion and crater creation. Out from this smoky hearth the hovering black tentacled machine rose up and tweet and hooted into activation. Dorin was a temperate world, but the atmosphere was thin and dangerous, this very fact effected the Kel Dor evolution. The droid took in the atmosphere and relayed the data back to the Sith. Drifting about one of the droids secretly made its way to a major Republic instillation. When Dorin was apart of the pre-Netherworld rapture Republic stronghold it was a part of a vast network of Jedi protected worlds that acted as an outer wall with each world protecting the next. Now isolated, it was a solitary bastion relying on its own remnant powers.

There were many Republic outlets as this one, well-built but small military bases with a modest garrison. But gathered it was an impressive force. Another droid had made its way to the key focus of the operation, the centuries old Kel Dor Jedi Enclave. Not as well-used as the ones on Arkania, Ossus or Cularin, but this was its strength. By being less of the popular enclaves it remained the most untouched by the Sith and Republic conflicts. A solitary bastion that other ravaged enclaves would retreat to. The droids eye lenses zoomed and groped every detail of the Jedi Enclave complex. Several large dome buildings surrounded by Republic fabricated steel base structures. However, little in the way of planetary defences. The republic during its Core World dominance considered it not the highest of priorities for fortressification. Finishing its duty the droid hovered off, compiling a final report and then promptly activating its self-destruct mechanism over a swamp pool. As it burst into flames its scattered carcass fell in gulping splashes into the swam water so that it could not easily be found.

(Meanwhile) Bilbringi Sith Shipyards
Flashing red orbs dotted with data on Dorin flickered in front of a lone command chair suspended by miniature repulsor lifts. The chamber these orbs and chair shared were the internal meditation chamber of the Wyyrlock Star Destroyer Revengeance. And seated in the command chair was the dark architect of the Dark Crusade that was to erupt on Dorin and Cularin - Darth Hauntruss, High Marshall and Inquisition Warmaster. Beside her black cloaked form a small blue holoimage of Vice-Admiral Darkin bubbled into existence. "My lady, the probe droids have completed their rounds." Darkin said in a nervous but professional tone. Hauntruss' hood swivelled to meet his appearance. Two bright golden eyes from a sea of darkness glared down at him. "Excellent work Vice-Admiral. I was just admiring the droid's work from here." Hauntruss began in a hissing lecture, "Prepare our Inquisition Fleet for hyperspace exit Vice-Admiral Darkin. Perpare a message to the other High Marshalls." Darkin nodded in obedient immediacy and replied, "I shall inform [member="Darth Isolda"] and [member="Darth Venefica"] at once my lady." Hauntruss smiled and turned her head back to the data, quietly whispering, "Good, good."

The collective structural points of the Republic's presence on Dorin was clearly painted across her screen. Hauntruss unclasped her fingers and stood up. Her golden eyes mixed with the red glowing planetary orb projections. Two assaulted would announce to the galaxy the birth of the Imperial Inquisition and the beginning of a second Great Jedi Purge. Staring at the other planet labelled Cularin, Hauntruss motioned for her protocol droid to open a holo-projection link to the other orchestrator of the Dark Crusade purges on Cularin [member="Darth Vornskr"]. As a blue light bathed her form, preparing to transport her image Hauntruss recited her sinister message, "The time has come my dark brother. Begin Operation Excoriate. I shall take my fleet force to Dorin while you will take on Cularin. There is only one objective brother"

"Wipe them out...all...of them."

The holo-link then abruptly ended and Hauntruss removed her dark hood revealing her crimson tainted skin. Leaving her chambers she travelled to the bridge. As she arrived the staff and naval officers stopped and rose to address her presence. Rear-Admiral Zeng approached the Sith Lord, "My lady the other Marshals are prepped and ready. We too are prepared to depart." Hauntruss lifted her black gloved hand to motion the Zeng to return to his post. "Be careful of the twin black-holes that lurk near Dorin Zeng. Prepare our fleet for hyperspace exit. You may begin when ready." Hauntruss dictated. Zeng nodded and moved to shout the commands. Like an enormous leviathan of steel and flesh the combined fleets of the three High Marshalls of the Imperial Inquisition to Dorin, a force close to 20,000 ships turned all at once and the blasted off into Hyperspace. Hauntruss, from aboard her bridge rolled her arms together in a fold and with her mind's eye pictured the coming unfolding of her grand strategy to purge the Core Worlds of Jedi influence and establish in its place a truly secure Sith Core.

"Once we arrive Rear-Admiral, inform Darkin to begin moving the fleet into Crescent Siege formation. We will wrap ourselves around that world...and then burn it."

Hauntruss' words sent a cold shiver down Zeng's back all he could muster in reply was a sombre salute.

Location - Jedi Enclave
Objective - Nothing

Solan yawned as he played on the violin in his hands with his feet kicked up and his eyes staring up at the sky, oblivious to what was happening around him as he had come to the Jedi enclave to both look at Jedi history and the mere fact he was fighting for the Republic on and off so he had been sent here as part of the garrison at a nearby Republic base but found more time spent in the Enclave. Something felt very wrong and off though about what was going, and his mind reached out to grasp on the threads of the world around him as he searched the force for what it was he felt. Of course this got him a few looks from the nearby Jedi considering his alignment in the force but he had his papers so if they wanted to fuss so be it. It still worried him though this feeling. He couldn't tell what it was or where it was coming from but he knew this sort of thing was not lightly taken.

The cold and darkened chamber was eerily silent minus the controlled breathing of the female sitting on the floor with her legs folded over one another, her eyes shut, and her palms turned upright and outstretched in front of her. As still as a statue, the Sith Knight was lost in a deep meditation trance with the purpose of trying to determine a more reliable pattern to the fluctuating energies of the Force. It had been a growing concern among the Force users community that the Force was betraying them. Fools. The Force was always there, one only needed to be patient enough and prepared to reach out and take hold of it before it went chaotic again. She learned quickly that not all her powers could be counted on, but through trial and error she had managed to discover which powers she could call upon if and when they were needed. There was a pattern, she felt it a few times, but it was jagged and at times hard to piece together. But she was patient even for a mentally unstable Sith. So if there was concrete proof that a pattern could be found and exploited permanently, she would find it.

A barely audible knock on the chamber door disturbed the trance enough to break her mind of it. "Enter," she announced not bothering to hide the tone of anger in her voice. She had given strict orders that she was not to be disturbed unless it was a pressing matter. Clearing his throat as he picked his words carefully, a young Imperial Officer said, "Darth Venefica. We have been informed by Vice-Admiral Darkin that the Inquisition Fleet is ready to make the jump to hyperspace. Your presence has been requested on the bridge by Admiral Tollik, ma'am." So the time had finally arrived to purge Dorin. The waiting game was over. The veil of secrecy would be dropped at the feet of the galaxy and [member="Darth Hauntruss"]'s plan will at last be revealed.

"We shall grace Admiral Tollik with our presence at once," the Dagobah Sith replied then quickly added, "And inform him for us the next time he wishes to disturb us...he should muster the courage to do so himself. Now leave us." The twins doors hissed shut behind her as she rose to her full height. All her efforts in seeking out a pattern had not been for naught as she now had an understanding of the pattern. It may not be perfect, but it was a start. Pulling the hood of her satin cloak over her head, she spun on her heels and headed up to the bridge.

Location: Wyyrlock-class Star Destroyer, closing towards Dorin space

Amaethon had received a message informing him of their jump into hyperspace whilst sitting in his quarters. The atmosphere of Dorin would require a breath mask which meant he would have to leave behind his mask. This made the Acolyte somewhat uneasy, though logic dictated he should feel nothing. The mask hid the victim beneath it and the wearer became a faceless torturer and killer.

He studied his mask on the desk and though deeply. It wasn't that he regretted harming and killing others, just why he did. It gave him a sense of power and control. He was not the victim, as in his childhood, but rather the instigator of suffering. To what greater purpose did this serve, beyond pleasure, and did that make him like those who had neglected and abused him?

He wanted to believe he was superior, and he once did so. Now he was not so certain.

Location: Personal quarters on the Wyyrlock-class Star Destroyer

Patiently waiting on in his personal quarters on the Wyyrlock-class Star Destroyer, his hands folded in front of him like a statue, was Sage Bane, a Jedi Padawan who had recently fallen to the dark side. Although admittedly, given the amount of rage and bitterness that tainted his heart, it wasn't a very long drop. The reason for the Sith acolyte's sojourn on the Imperial destroyer was simple: as part of his training and at the behest of his Master [member="Matsu Xiangu"], Sage was to accompany [member="Darth Venefica"] and assist her on a crusade, this one on Dorin, a purging of the Kel Dor Jedi Enclave.

He wore black robes over lightly-armored clothing, a lightsaber adorning one hip and on the other, an electro-whip. He also carried a Nightbrother fighting knife strapped to his shin. Having recently traveled through the Blood Wastes of the Netherworld, Sage unknowingly carried extra bloodlust in his veins. All he knew was that he was thirsty for battle and eager to build upon his novice training in the Ataru lightsaber form.

Sage had never met Venefica, a Sith Knight of excellent repute, but word on the Coruscant streets was that she was some kind of Dagobah swamp maiden. Given the types of skills Sage was currently learning with Matsu, he had no doubt she would be an interesting tutor for him.

Location: Baran Do Temple

Kian took a deep, calming breath. It felt good to be free of his mask and goggles. It was a rare occurrence for Kian to venture back to Dorin these days, his duties among the Jedi kept him constantly moving. As much as he loved his home world, he couldn't say he missed it much.....except for the feeling of being less vulnerable. He had grown accustom to the mask over the years, but it was never completely out of a Kel Dor's mind.

"What is wrong Master Mong?" Kian asked when he set eyes on the frail Kel Dor women standing in front of him. He had left [member="Varus Shatterstar"], [member="Kodo Das"], and [member="Seraphina Shel'tah"] behind at the Jedi Enclave when he had received word that the headmaster of the Baran Do wished to speak with him. Kian had lived more then a decade among the sages, joining their order when he was but a boy and training with them until he had left to join the Jedi. Sha Mong was head of the order then and, though old age and frailty had long since set in, she still ran the order. Now she looked bothered by something and Kian wished to know what had rattled the monk.

"I don't know." She said in almost a whisper. Kian stepped closer and sat down beside her on the bench, taking the older Kel Dor's hand.

"Something is clearly bothering you." Kian said, "Is that why you sent for me?" Kian glanceda round the main hall of the Baran Do temple and saw no others around. It was odd. While the monks were not a large order, the room they were in was typically bustling with young Baran Do initiates and instructors. Why was it now suddenly empty?

"I sent the others into the Caverns." Sha said and Kian's eyebrows rose. The Caverns of the Hidden Ones were a secret series of caverns buried deep below Dorin's surface. Only members of the Baran Do knew of these caverns. They were used, in the centuries before, as a secret place for safeguarding the Baran Do but were only used now to protect the order in emergencies.

"But why?" Kian asked, concern beginning to bleed into his voice. Master Mong wasn't the type of individual to worry lightly.

"We had a vision." Master Mong said, using 'we' as a reference to the Baran Do's use of group meditation. Turning her attention fulling to Kian, their silvers eyes met. "We saw Dorin.....wreathed in flame"

[member="Varus Shatterstar"], [member="Seraphina Shel'tah"], [member="Kodo Das"] - I was thinking that the four of us are on Dorin collecting data and historical relics from the Dorin Jedi Enclave. It is an enclave that is out of use, but could still house some interesting information dating back to the Jedi of the Old Republic Era. [member="Solan Charr"] has already set up his presence here.

Considering the overwhelming force arrayed against us, our number 1 priority will be safeguarding the lives of the people with a secondary objective of safeguarding any information we can get from the Enclave. And we can throw in escaping with our lives as a third priority :)

I'll be making my way to you guys soon, I just wanted to introduce an NPC who I had previously used in posts (i.e., Master Sha Mong!) and help set the stage!

Grand Admiral, First Order Central Command
Location: Bridge of the Wyyrlok-class Star Destroyer Invictas

The fleet had loitered quietly on the outskirts of the Dorin system for some time now, and during the wait Cyrus has busied himself with reviewing all the information they had on the planet. As Admiral Darkin's probes were doing their survey, the information was transmitted directly to the database, and every fortress, base, and gun emplacement was recorded and added to the display. By the time the last drone had turned itself into so much debris and scattered its remains across the water, Cyrus had a basic bombardment plan in place for the upcoming assault.

The three Wyyrlok's and lone Dark Blade would be the lynchpin of the assault, backed up by nine Vanguard-class Cruisers, those mostly delegated to secondary targets, with a few on standby to hit any concealed emplacements or counterbattery fire. A collection of frigates would be fanned out to act as escorts, just in case the Republic had a task force nearby, something the half a dozen Shadow-class Corvettes had already assessed as 'unlikely' (or a force-cursed impossibility, according to one of their officers).

The face of Vice-Admiral Darkin abruptly appeared on a tertiary display. Cyrus ignored it at first, focusing instead on refining the positions of the various ships in his fleet to allow for better overlapping fields of fire. He had of course already pulled and thoroughly read Darkin's file. The man was at least competent, but showed a willingness to kowtow to the Sith and a nervousness in dealing with them that indicated that he had peaked in his career.

"The order has been given," he said with a sort of uncertain formality. "We attack on schedule."

Cyrus nodded. "Understood. I'll have my fleet exit opposite the planet to yours. Given the lack of dedicated orbital defenses, I recommend we immediately begin a Crescent Siege formation to envelop the planet and engage targets of opportunity while we wait for the main force's arrival. I have a plan ready to transmit."

Darkin's frowned slightly, then seemed to shrug. "Agreed, I'll broadcast the final after my changes once we arrive in realspace." Without any further words, the holo display cut out.

At least he wasn't indecisive, thought Cyrus. That alone spoke volumes as to his skill level. He switched a comm circuit to address the fleet.

"All ships, standby to exit hyperspace."

There was a flash as the Invictas transitioned, and then the planet Dorin filled the main display screen in CIC.

Sera blinked a few times, adjusting her respirator. "Gosh, I hate wearing these obnoxious things. How do the Kel-Dor put up with this nonsense?" The enclave was ancient, long withstanding the test of time. Generations of Jedi had studied here, most notably the Kel-Dor of course, though there had been indications of other Jedi having pilgrimaged here. Most notably those who decided to etch their names into the walls, floor, and ceiling with objects or lightsabers. A small window into the past was the most beautiful aspect of the enclave.

A chamber within the enclave housed a number of holocrons, each varying in subject from past Kel-Dor masters, knights, and force-sensitives, to family lines. It was incredible to see such a long blood line of family members take up lightsabers on behalf of the Republic. Unfortunately though, the Republic had not reached Dorin yet, to restore its resolve to the people that had given so much over the millenia. Soon though, the people would be safe once again, or so was Sera's hope.

Varus shuffled along next to the Twi'Lek Jedi with a similar breathing mask latched to his face, all that was visible being his eyes and the bridge of his nose. When she spoke, her voice muffled and distorted a bit for the mask on her face, she attested to how pesky the masks were. She questioned how the Kel Dor put up with it, which was something that even Varus had wondered once upon a time, but he'd come to the same conclusion that Seraphina herself would have likely come to eventually.

"Because they don't have a choice.", he said, his deep voice distorted a bit as he glanced over at the young woman for a moment before he cast his sapphire eyes back out across the wide open room they were in. "But here they can be what they were born to be while we play the role of outsider."

[member="Kian Karr"] - [member="Seraphina Shel'tah"]

Twin eyes of molten silver would snap open.

The purge shall reap His Truth. His glory. His vision

Deep within the bowels of the Wryylock ship, the Eye of the Dark Lord would writhe in the glory of His vision. Here, upon Dorin, the stamp of what the prophecy foretold will bear its fruits.

A tidal wave of blood would sanctify the Core. Until there was no more but Her Will for the One.

This knowledge would whisper within the well of the Force like the distant murmurings of those that had gone past. Only to come by the shell of the ear to drop the toxic twisted visions of a distant reality. A reality the Ember of Vahl was willing to wedge a path saturated in blood.

Sacrifice.

Beneath the waves of Eros she was drowning in, violated and dominated with, the Oracle gasped out the prophecy from the Goddess. His destiny.

"We'll be coming out of hyperspace in t-minus fifteen minutes," the navigation officer barked spurring the crew on the bridge into action. Everything was about timing and surprise. Come out of hyperspace to early and you alert the enemy to your presence and perhaps give them ample time to formulate a defense plan. Come out to late and you risk missing the opportunity to partake in the opening festivities; forcing you to scrounge through left overs and scraps. Of course this all fell on the shoulders of Admiral Tollik. Darth Venefica's knowledge of space travel and tactics was sorely limited, perhaps even non-existent. Her military strength relied on her ability to command ground forces, something she had demonstrated time and time again.

"I've coordinated with the other fleet Admirals in terms of our positioning, Darth Venefica," Admiral Tollik announced as he took up a position on her right, "So far the enemy is clueless to our presence. This will indeed be a quick and decisive defeat." She could only scoff at his insolence. She fought against the Jedi and Republic numerous times and if there was one thing nice she could say about them, they could organize quickly. And she had no doubts they would do so here.

"Do not underestimate the resilience and fortitude of the enemy, Admiral. Remember we are uninvited guests in their home. So keep your pride in check." Admiral Tollik dragged a lone finger between his collar and throat before replying, "I meant no offense my lady. Surely even the mentally challenged can see...," he began and quickly cut off his own words as he lowered his head knowing he made a serious mistake. Everyone knew the Sith was mentally unstable, perhaps even a bona fide crazy. But nobody dared speak about that in her presence. She was at times unpredictable and not known to grant forgiveness. Her reputation among the One Sith was coloured with stories of her madness.

"We grow wary of your presence, Admiral," she voiced ignoring his remark. In times past she would have killed him on the spot but she was changing, maturing into something greater. Besides, killing him would have only shown weakness on her part. "Notify [member="Sage Bane"] his presence is required on the bridge. And Admiral...choose your words wisely when dealing with him. He might not be so forgiving if offended." Tollik nervously ran a hand across his brow, turned around and left her company.

"I am proud of you keeper for showing restraint," the voice of Darth Portia commented brushing her mind, "Abusing your power is nothing more than cowardly brutality." The Dagobah Sith could only smile. She was learning.

Dorin Near Orbit
The stars thinned out and bulged into numerous dots and from the void of space, the entire main force of the Imperial Inquisition fleet burst out of hyperspace in the sudden materialization of thousands of ships. Layered in rings that stretched into a giant bulk, the Inquisition had finally arrived in full.

Aboard the Revengeance, Darth Hauntruss was gazing out at the murky world her ships had abruptly stopped at. Turning her head to Rear-Admiral Zeng she spoke her dark commands, "Has Darkin and Cyrus moved into siege positions?" Zeng nodded silently before waving at a nearby communications officer to make sure, he didn't want to be crushed to death like the last rear-admiral. "Excellent" Hauntruss hissed. "Have all stardestroyers begin moving into orbital bombardment positions. They shall fire on my command. In mean time have the High Marshals be prepared for my debriefing by holo-comms." Zeng didn't move for a moment. The order was too cruel for him to process. Yes, the Sit had employed orbital bombardment on planets but, this was a subjugation mission - or at least this was what he was told. Hauntruss kept her gaze on him as he stood motionless. "Best get to it...Rear-Admiral." Hauntruss hissed in a threatening tone. Zeng saluted and with hesitation and some resentment professionally replied, "As you wish, my lady."

Descending into the communication pits he called up the bridge staff, "Have [member="Darth Isolda"] and [member="Darth Venefica"] informed of the incoming message." Meanwhile aboard the Wyyrlock command ship of Vice-Admiral Darkin, a young officer ran up to finish Hauntruss' orders. "Sir, Darth Hauntruss has informed us to begin orbital bombardment of the key locations as specified earlier sir." Darkin nodded and began his end of operations, "Alright then." Turning away to watch proceedings he jutting out his arms and gestured his commands, "All ships descend into lower geo-orbit target Republic strike-points gathered by the probe droids. Leave the Jedi Enclave untouched - that is for Lady Hauntruss to personally command." In unison the large array of star destroyers, battleships and carriers descending into close orbit to Dorin. They were no only few thousand kilometers from the first layers of the planets toxic atmosphere.

The Heavy and Standard class Turbolasers of the warhsips began to swivel and in tiny micro-adjustments fixed their trajectory lock-on systems on Republic spaceports, settlements and military outposts. Watching all this done the Revengeance, still remained back with the other main High Marshal flotillas. A short blue image of Darkin appeared next to Hauntruss on a detached holoprojector connected to a small R-5 unit. "We are ready to fire my lady." Hauntruss without breaking her gaze on the planet uttered the black speech that would mark the beginning of the first Imperial Sith Crusade. "Fire."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oX51T-EipOo

All it took was a single word. One single word and the a hell storm of laser rounds flashed from their turrets. Down below the soldiers, workers, republic liaisons and general Kel Dor and human collaborators could see a flash of green that almost mimicked a mass meteor shower. But this shower was one of fire and death. The laser rounds impaled the Dorin soil in flame and rapture leaving only burnt craters of what was once there. Entire blocks of Republic fabricated bases and centres of operations vaporized in minutes. Bright glowing golden flowers of flame and destruction bloomed all over the hemisphere the fleet had concentrated on.

Watching Hauntruss showed not outward glee or sinister laugh, only morbid stoicism. Saying nothing Hauntruss spun about she vacated the bridge and descended to her meditation chamber. Upon arrival she activated the holoprojection platform which she stood on. At that moment her image would be scattered to the High Marshals.

Her speech would then unleash the second wave of her purge.

"Now begins our reign of terror, my dark brothers and sisters.

While the bombardment rages on prepare your legions. I shall be joining you soon. Once it stops, descend and finish what the star destroyers have begun. Destroy everything, kill any who resist. Remove the Republic presence completely.

However, do not slay indiscriminatley. The local population will be of use to us and me once we are done. Only destroy Republic Personnel. Once that is complete converge on the Jedi temple. If you see anyone in that temple, remove them.

PERMANENTLY."

Amaethon's eyes snapped open from his meditation. It had begun. He glanced over at the breath mask on the desk beside his own. Part of him relished the thought of punishing their ancient foe. His thoughts grew clouded with doubts, self and otherwise. Why? These feelings were new and unexpected, and also, most unwelcome. He shook his head, as if to dislodge the doubt and drew his cowl up, hiding his face deep in shadows.

Taking the breath mask after he rose, he left his quarters and proceeded to the forward bridge. Within a few moments, he stood in the shadows near the back, as was his custom. Amaethon had arrived with the first salvo, the ship lurching a little as it fired on Dorin below. The maskless Acolyte watched and he waited.

Location: Near the Temple
Objective: Help those he can before the sith attack in mass.

Solan watched the rain of fire and death with a straight face as it scorched across the surface of the planet he sat on, his mind bringing up its barrier before finally slamming hard into him was the pain suffering and death as his eyes narrowed. He would not see this place become another makeb and while he could not stop the salvos coming down on the surface and its arc coming towards him as he looked towards the others nearby him. "EVERYONE, UNDERGROUND NOW." He grabbed anyone that didn't react fast enough, the sound of the raining blasts was more than enough to get him to curl up his fingers until finally pushing the one he had grabbed into the doorway before running in and listening as the sound reminiscent of thunder sounded above him, sighing as dust came down on his head. He had a feeling though that the sith weren't so when the salvo ended he tore off the scythe he carried, pulled up his hood, and grabbed his mask. Only after placing the mask on his face did he step out of the complex, lucky the doorway had not come down. "Time to make them pay."

What is that? An earthquake?

Sera looked confused as her eyes met Varus' own. "Do you feel that?" Placing the holocron down she headed toward the entrance of the enclave and looked out. Nothing appeared to be amiss at first glance, until she looked up toward the heavens. It was raining. But drops of bonded oxygen and hydrogen they were not. Instead, it was turbolasers and ion cannons colliding with the surface of the planet from orbit. A look of horror cast itself across her face as she stood motionless, gazing up at the sky.

This can't be happening.

Rushing back into the enclave she shouted toward Varus. "Dorin is under attack! We need to get everyone to safety, secure the holocrons and hope the Republic gets word!" The Twi'lek closed her eyes, clearing the immediate threat from her mind and all distractions. Her mind would reach out toward [member="Kian Karr"].

Master Karr. No doubt you are aware of the situation by now. Myself and [member="Varus Shatterstar"] are in the enclave. We will do our best to secure things here. Are you well?

Tyranus

The Darkness feeds me
[member="Daniel Imura"]
Tyranus looked around as he felt the sudden bombardment of lasers upon the planet's crust. He looked into the distance and saw a barrage of red hitting hard on the planet's surface. Tyranus turned and looked towards Daniel waiting impatiently for him but he didn't judge him, he knew Daniel was still a bit new to the Fleet and he needed all of the training Tyranus could give. Tyranus rested his right hand comfortably along the blade of his purple lightsaber while his other hand rested upon his orange lightsaber, ready to draw both at a moments notice. He continued to look upon the barrage as he began to speak to Daniel.

Come one Daniel. Vassara said we were tasked with evacuating anybody we could and saving any and as many Jedi artifacts we could along. Now.....Follow Me! Although, I hope that barrage is normal!

He began to run towards the location of the laser barrage. His heavy mandalorion boots slammed against the ground and he ran and then put on his Mandalorion helmet, continuing to run towards the barrage. He looked around slightly from left to right to make sure that they weren't being followed by anybody. He rested his hand back upon his purple lightsaber ready to grab it and activate it at a moment's notice.

Daniel stood close to [member="Tyranus Collik"], looking around the enclave with a bit of a bored look on his face. Even though it was covered by a face mask, one could still tell upon looking that he really didn't want to be here. He'd been sent with the man by one [member="Vassara Raxis"], for what he assumed was to oversee the whole place. He hadn't thought much about it, until the first sign of the shaking of the planet lurched him to the side. "What the hell was that?", his muffled voice came suddenly. Looking around, he quickly looked to the planet's surface as it was being bombarded by massive turbolasers. What was going on? His hand instinctively went to his pistol as he heard Tyranus's voice next to him, hearing about Vassara's orders to protect the datacrons and haul as many people out as they could. Nodding, he followed the Mando's lead, plucking Icebreaker from its holster on the back of his waist with his right hand, and his slugsword from its sheath with his left. He was ready for an all-out battle.

Tyranus continued to run to the barrage until he got a good glimpse of it. Tyranus drew his purple lightsaber but kept it off until something else turned up. He let out a slight gasp at what it was, this wasn't natural, It was the Sith! Tyranus then walked to a couple groups of citizens and told them to either evacuate or or get to the safest place they could think of. Tyranus then turned back towards Daniel and then sighed before speaking.

Daniel......those shots aren't natural, from my perspective they are starship shots! Most likely a capital ship spanning 1000m or over that and...........it's most likely the sith! Quickly we need to save the artifacts.

Tyranus turned without awaiting a response and then ran outward. He was approaching a strange building unlike any other he had seen before. He assumed Daniel would follow him if not, then he guessed Daniel would would evacuate the citizens.

Location: The bridge of the Wyyrlock-class Star Destroyer

The door opening with a hiss, a fleet commander named Admiral Torrik entered Sage's quarters and crisply informed him that the Sith acolyte's presence was required on the bridge at the behest of [member="Darth Venefica"]. Sage did not move immediately, for he was fighting an odd craving. He felt the inexplicable urge to take the Nightbrother fighting knife from its hilt, and thrust it into the Admiral's jugular, right where the officer stood in the doorway. Sage longed to listen to the music of the blood pumping out of Torrik's body with every beat of the man's dying heart. To spill his guts or twist his head on the axis of his neck. Sage blinked and just like that, the moment passed.

Nodding politely, the young acolyte followed the perplexed Admiral through the corridor. The hurried footsteps of the crew told him that the first barrage on the Kel Dor Enclave was beginning. Speeding his gait, Sage was anxious to arrive on the bridge in a timely manner. From what he had heard about Darth Venefica, it was not wise to keep her waiting. Eventually he arrived at the bridge and addressed the tiny, wild-haired Sith Knight.

"Darth Venefica. You summoned me, Mistress?"

The red lines from the turbolasers lit up the blackened eyes of the Sith Knight as she stood watching the first of many shots race toward the planet of Dorin. It was such a beautiful sight to behold that for a few moments she could feel the sensations of pleasure course through her body. Slowly she closed her eyes and held her breath reaching out into the Force with invisible tendrils to bring the essence of the dead into her. Such a captivating feeling to behold. Slowly she exhaled and opened her eyes to see another volley scream toward the planet.

"Yes we have," she replied to the handsome Acolyte. He was such a beautiful creature. She envied her former Master for finding such an excellent specimen to train. "We are to take an attachment of soldiers and go planet side. We have only one standing order from [member="Darth Hauntruss"]...destroy everything, kill any who resist. Remove the Republic presence completely. But spare the locals."

She followed the red traces once more as they crashed into the Dorin. Such a glorious day. "You will lead your own personal squad and secure the space port below. We will join you there once we land. Go Acolyte and bring glorious victory to the Sith. May the Darkside watch over you."
