Dranok Lussk for Supreme Chancellor!

By the time that Selena arrived things were quickly and obviously getting absurd. Some senators were foolishly standing around watching the activities. Selena quickly went to one for a quick update. With it she knew approximately that the Senator was telling the Jedi to stand down.

For a moment she closed her eyes very tightly and pinched the bridge of her nose. Every part of her screamed that they needed to arrest the Sith Emperor and his cohorts. Everything. Yet. She knew that this was not how. A problem instigated by a rogue Jedi. Even with the support of local police also aided by another Jedi Knight. And then there was Selena with the local garrison, who she brought not for an arrest but to end this entire conflict.

Two other Jedi were not addressed by the old Jedi Master, one she was actually surprised to see present. Those two Jedi would still likely be tense. And one had even come with actual authority of the police. Then some other military group showed up threatening the Jedi. She pinched her nose even harder. Where was the consistency in the Order. Echoing the words of Master Tefka she addressed the two Knights. "Let us leave now. No need to linger. The problems displayed here will be sorted in due time."

She looked then to the local garrison she had come with. "See to it that the Sith are escorted to their ships and off the planet." Her eyes looked at the commander who had come with soldiers to threaten the Jedi. No military unit of that size should have arrived that quickly. She sensed something wrong about him in him.

Diana grit her teeth as she heard the voice of the venerable Jedi Master. She said nothing to the Sith Emperor or the ugly monster thing that had tried to bait her into a fight. Instead she clenched her fists together, aching to draw her lightsabers and arrest the Sith Emperor. The man deserved to stand trial, and here he was served on a platter to them.

Through closed teeth she let out an inaudible hiss, clearly upset at the situation. “Yes Master.”

The words were acid, but she listened. Quickly she turned on her heel and walked away from the Sith Emperor, entering a nearby room down the hall away from the Sith and all his compatriots. Once there she immediately shut the door, knowing Tefka would follow soon. As soon as the door was closed she whirled around and punched the duracreet wall.

Frustration ran through her, and she let out a deep sigh.

Joshua Philip DragonsFlame, Member, Knight Represenative and Weaponmaster of the Jedi Council, Jedi Knight, sat on a couch with a groggy look on his face at home on Tython. Saoirse was still asleep upstairs and Josh had decided to start flipping through channels on the HoloTV as he tried to wake up.

Well, he certainly got the hell woken out of him.

As he flipped past a certain channel, he went back for a second... Was that the Sith Emperor, Dranok Lussk?

He raised an eyebrow as he went back. There he was. Sith Emperor @[member="Dranok Lussk"]. In the Senate. Making a bid to be Supreme Chancellor Of The Republic.

Normally, Josh would be tame to something like this. But he was at home. He was alone (The Miraluka upstairs aside) and he was sore as hell, and he was tired as hornigolds. And he was in such a good mood to, before the mood was smashed by the situation.

And then? Jedi came in to try and arrest him. And things were breaking down.

Uncharacteristically, Josh chucked the remote at the wall. He was frustrated. What in the holy state of Sonata was going on?

"SITH SPIT!" he called out as he chucked the remote, watching it smack off the Tythonian wall and crash to the floor. He shook his head as he watched the events on the HoloTV, flabbergasted.

And then @[member="Tefka"], of all people, showed up. Josh's eyes widened, and he relaxed a bit as he slumped onto the couch.

"What is this madness....." he muttered. He shut the HoloTV off and walked upstairs, crashing onto the bed beside his companion again. Blast, he was probably dreaming...

"The senator for Mechis III wishes to speak!"

Rising up from his seat in the Senate floor, having surveyed this somewhat silly scenario, K'Dan straightened out his cloak and smiled to the rest of the senators in attendance, purposely ignoring the Jedi and the Sith present. For good reasons.

"Ladies and gentlemen of the Senate, as a fellow Senator I bring your attention back to the matter at hand, that of Sith Emperor Lussk's bill to suggest we appoint him Chancellor of the Senate. Regardless of the Emperor's credentials, the matter comes down to who works best to represent matters of the Republic within its own people! Thus, regardless of this ongoing feud between the Jedi and the Sith, which has lasted longer than most of us in attendance this day, this Senator suggests an amendment to the bill brought forth to us!"

Taking a quick sip of water from the glass held by his protocol droid assistant, he smiled, silently thanking the droid, then turned back to the Senate.

"The amendment being, a vote amongst the Senators present as to who would best be able to run the Senate as its Chancellor among the Senators present!"

Yusan turns back to the Emperor and spoke quickly. "I apoligize for the Jedi's rash attempts to arrest you Mister Lussk, i hope that your stay will be peaceful from this moment on. I have a question for you if you would indulge me though." @[member="Dranok Lussk"]

In Umbris Potestas Est
Somewhere in the back, in her personal seat, Jentara Vel was watching. Watching and smiling, softly clapping as her aide looked on.

"I didn't know the Jedi had aspirations to run the Republic. Perhaps they do."

And with that, she headed to the hangar bay, getting on her shuttle and preparing to return to Onderon. This was fun.

The Emperor kept quite calm while young @[member="Diana Moridena"] shouted at him with multiple counts of charges, anger stemming from her very form. Dranok kept his smile to a minimum, savoring each and every flake of anger and hatred that flew from her presence. Quite delicious, these Jedi just set themselves up. The thought crossed his mind as a little droid puttered about, its lenses transfixed upon the group of Sith and Jedi. Aired out across Republic space. Oh this was fun. "Little Jedi, you hold no authority, so don't act like it." He gestured towards the camera, "And you just made fools out of the Jedi."

Even more Jedi and their guards arrived, such a show in force at a mere speech. He'd put a mark on his vacation list never to come here again on such petty terms. Hopefully next time these disgusting beings would be crawling for him, asking for forgiveness as he stomped out their life. That seemed rather pleasant, even more so than a stroll through a meadow of flowers. With a grin to his flanking Sith, @[member="Marcus Faust"] and @[member="Krag"], along with his Stormtrooper guard, he started off as a new Jedi Master arrived to clear the situation. "Thank you, Master Jedi." He bowed towards @[member="Tefka"], turning to start his journey home.

And again, another annoyance. @[member="Yusan Fenn"] jogged a little to catch up with him, hoping that he would spare him a moment of time. "Join me for a walk back to my ship." He inclined his head towards the Senator, "Thank you for your support."

Fun. Just simply fun.

"Sorry to pester but i must ask you about the two renegade Sith and what you plan to do about them. They attacked our senate building and i am sure that one of them was the very man that had put you in power." He grinned, he knew what had transpired and it was clear he had a personal mole in the Empire and its business. He needed to know and see the Emperor's response in person to be sure that he was able to tell what the Emperor thought. @[member="Dranok Lussk"]

@[member="Yusan Fenn"]

The question was expected, not from this man though. He rather expected some reporter too big for his shoes to come running up to ask him. Be that as it may, he had to be nice and professional since he was on Republic soil. "Senator Fenn, those are renegades and no longer under my jurisdiction. They have not damaged my territory nor my people, that is the Republic's problem. Only if I'm elected Chancellor will this situation become my problem." He gave a polite smile and caught sight of his shuttle. His pace quickened, a single question awaiting the Senator. "Any other questions?"
