Eat, Drink & Be Merry

They seemed to come from everywhere, the cavalry, or stern disapproving elders Asaraa honestly wasn’t very sure. One moment she was with her new friends, drinking the tasty, although spiked, punch and the next Jerit was lunging, falling to the floor and being carried off, from chair to bed by that friend of his.

It had all happened so fast that the Togruta had to take a moment, just to let her thoughts catch up with her actions before she blinked, shaking her head and giving Yuroic a nod.

“Umm...yeah I’ve got this, I can get her back up to her room.”

The Togruta blinked as held out a hand to support the unsteady Raven as her own traitorous limbs gave a little quake.

“I...I’m I’m what?”

She couldn’t stop herself as she looked down at her skin, wondering if Raven could seen the purple lines strobing across her skin. She stared down at herself as she wrinkled her brow and slipped an arm around Raven’s shoulders.

“Come on...I think we’re kinda done for the night.”

There weren’t actually two of Raven were there? Nah there couldn’t be. Whatever was in that punch, that was ... The togruta Padawan couldn’t help the smile that spread across her lips as she helped the other girl from the room. She’d get that man back one day...somehow.

She smiled as Kira mentioned the things she got up to in her past time. It sounded very much like Kat, she loved spending time keeping in shape and working on her various toys. "I tend to exercise and fiddle with my tech, it's fun keeping my mind active and hands busy, sitting around and meditating is just so boring I find. If you like, maybe we could spar one day, never sparred against a Jedi and I could teach you a few Echani techniques. Might help in future fights." Kat offered with a smile.

Kat then looked over at the man behind the bar and pondered on whether or not he looked dangerous. But Kira was right, they were all meant to be allies and they should look to be making connections and friends during these calm times before the next potential danger. Kat gave a slight shrug and smiled to Kira. "I'm sure saying hi won't hurt, as long as you want to, not going off on my own!" Kat joked friendly and gave Kira a light nudge with her elbow. Moving over to the bar, she grabbed another glass of champagne, it was a drink she would never have tried outside of the Order. Ranger salary didn't exactly pay high and she preferred spirits over the bubbly drink.

Yuroic gave a smile to Jairdain holding her close, hearing that she had never had a drink before didn't surprise Yuroic. He knew that much of life that seemed more adult-like, such as drinking, smoking and more intimate things were new to Jairdain. Though she had gained some experience in areas since he gotten to know her. Reaching out with the Force, he gripped a glass of champagne and drew it in close to his hand before offering to her. "Well if you want to try a drink here, this is likely better tasting than the first taste of alcohol I had." Yuroic admitted, his experience started much too early in many areas and alcohol was normally cheap and nasty in the slums of Nar Shaddaa.

He nodded, Yuroic had heard that Jairdain was working with the Commenor but he didn't realise the importance of that role until she told him. He smiled widely and kissed her cheek. "Congratulations, I'm proud of you! Sounds like a very important role and I'm sure that you will excel in it. I'm still working in the Archives but it's nice and quiet. I have gotten plenty of reading done and guiding young Padawans to the information they seek is enjoyable. They are so eager to learn it is nice to watch." Yuroic knew deep down that he could be doing something more important, something significant but right now, he was happy just being in the background.

"With you I am always having a good time." Jake replied. His gaze went to the bar, "Oh to be young and hormonal. If you believe them to be having too much fun I have no problem going over there and laying down the law. Perhaps a two night temple grounding to their quarters for no reason except self-reflection?" The thought of spooking a few padawans perked a brow. Perhaps on another day and time Jake would do just that. Tonight? He'd let them be. Why? Simply because he had something more important to attend too. Pranks and jokes could wait.

"I don't know about dancing." Jake said sheepishly. "I mean I've seen you dance in the bedroom and I don't know how well your two left feet will handle the crowd." Zinger! A laugh, a playful slap from Valae, and then an escort to the dance floor where Jake put the pair into their starting position. Jake pulled her close. Jake didn't ask. He simply took lead. Head to head. Frame to frame. Within seconds their bodies didn't just move to the music. They moved to one another's specific rhythms.

"Well spoken welcome, Mon Cheri'." Jake said. "The turnout is more than I honestly expected. Though its not every day people can set aside petty differences for a chance to just mingle. It is also good to see that your efforts with this Silver Jedi are paying dividends. If only the order of my day had you and your fellow Council as leaders. I would have never left the Jedi to begin with." That was the thing about life. Jake understood one very important aspect of it. Every blessing, curse, and hiccup in the road led him to this specific moment. Without all of the pain that came with the joy, Jake may not have been here at Valae's side.

Jake took a step back, leaning Valae into him. Her leg wrapped him with aggressive force. Their faces drawing ever close. As their frames swayed and swung. As their feet slid across the waxed floor, Jake was lost in the eyes of the woman before him. Some people spent their time talking. Some spent the evening drinking; other eating. A few simply walked about. Yet Jake spent his evening performing in full display like a peacock for the Lioness. As the beat began to pick up, their frames remained synched. Jake spun Valae, hand firmly in hold of her own, before performing a one two punch of a dance maneuver. A deep dip, that put Valae herself on display for the room was followed by the woman being lifted and spun against Jake; back to chest.

Jake bit Valae's lower lip playfully after a quick kiss and brought them both back to their starting position and starting fresh with a new routine. A smirk crossed his face, "I do hope my skills are adequate enough for you?"

Kat had already started drinking, the lady next to her following. He was confused, they were drinking punch? That seemed strange to him, although he presumed it wouldn't be long before they consume alcohol. Karna suspected the woman to be Kat's friend and smiled when she thanked him. "Any dress would look good on a remarkable woman such as yourself." he said trying to give a good first impression. This might have been the first time he actually tried to flatter somebody. Sweet talking wasn't usually his thing, though he did make his attempt at it.

The words pretty boy grabbed his attention pretty quickly. Almost as if he didn't need his name said to know Kat was talking to him. She greeted him quickly. "Hello, Gummie Bear." he used the name despite someone else being around. It was easier to say than he thought. She wanted his opinion on her dress, he smiled. "Its perfect. You look cute." Kat then said he should praise her for choosing a great suit for him. "I'll be sure to let her know." he wasn't disappointed in both her choice of dress and his outfit.

Karna noticed Kat and her friend looked a little different after drinking the punch. Kat giggled while looking at him, she said the drink was delicious and he should get one. He shook his head, the drink must have been something more than just punch based on their changes. "That is unnecessary. I don't drink." that wasn't the truth at all, he enjoyed a drink every now and then. The issue was he didn't know how he would act intoxicated at this party. Chances of him being able to control himself were high, but still. Of course he wouldn't be able to say no if Kat insisted.

Her friend's name was Grace. "My name's Karna. It's nice to meet you Grace." he said kindly. Grace asked if he'd been watching them, he nodded. She also asked if Kat and Karna knew each other, he nodded again. "You're correct." he said confirming her assumption. He wouldn't say much more since he expected Kat to have plenty to say about their first encounter.

"Better you working in the archives than me."

Jairdain said this with a laugh and pointed at her eyes. Being blind meant she couldn't read the titles or really be of much use there with him. If nothing else had come of her time of capture and breaking, she had at least developed a sense of humor. Most of the time, she picked on herself with it. There were times though when those humorous snarks would be directed at other people.

"I'm glad you're happy there."

He said her first drink was likely to taste better than his, she chuckled slightly. Taking the glass he brought over, Jairdain raised it to her nose to take a sniff of it before sipping it. Wrinkling her nose a little at both, she set the glass down.

"I don't think that will work at all. Maybe another time or a different drink."

He mentioned watching as the padawans grew with the knowledge they learned and she smiled.

"Someday maybe...never mind."

Blushing, if he could read her feelings, he should be able to guess what she was thinking about.

Aftertaste, the woman beside her had said, causing Katrine to look at her extra funny. "What aftertaste?" Katrine wandered immediately. She could feel herself a little dizzy as Karna spoke up again, her blue gaze shifting over to him. He was talking about a dress and it wasn't her. It was so sweet, her head tilted and she smiled. For an entirety of ten seconds. She wasn't aware of the fact that she'd missed part of what was said though. "Okay, okay. we don't want to overload on compliments to strangers on the first go," the blond pointed out. It was an even stranger thing to say for her but she hadn't realized it was spurring from jealousy right now from her friend giving compliments to somebody else.

ozzgXf.gif
He'd greeted her though, using the nickname he'd selected for her, making her smile widely while he kept talking. A shadow passed beside him though in that very moment, making Katrine look to the side, to find who it had was that was dancing. Katrine recognized the silhouette almost immediately. "Chloe?" She'd spoke up over something Karna had said but she could not longer hear him as her sister moved across the crowd, fading away a moment later.

Was Chloe here? Katrine kept looking where Chloe had disappeared but she couldn't see her anymore, her head turning again when she heard Karna mentioned not drinking. "Wait, what?" Katrine asked, looking at him again. "How do you not drink? Is that a thing?" Normally, it would have been a surprising statement but now, it had felt all too shocking to consider. "Like ever? Just alcohol or nothing? Is that a Zorren thing? I'm confused." That was an understatement but it didn't have everything to do with Karna but instead, the sight of her big sister as well.

Time, my dear, is nothing to those of us with the Blood of the Wolf.
I have no idea who taught you this,
How else would have Chloe dropped through a black hole and then get lost.
Hold to the love, she cannot take that from you.
She's screwing up the future, Ket. That's what she's been saying a lot lately
Kat! Kat!
I keep waking up thinking today is the day Seren comes and find me.
You belong to me, child, you always have.
Daddy kills people to make Mommy happy. That's fun.
I've always wondered what happened to someone if they were thrown out of a ship…
We can choose. What's wrong with choosing?
The voices swelled in her mind, memories. Katrine recognized the on by one. Father had spoke first, Mother second, her voice and the voice of her older self have crept next. Mother again, right in her words about Kat ruining the future. It was something she had told Mother over and over when she began to realize she was changing the future by interacting with her own parents. Chloe called to her, her eyes shutting tight as she tried to focus herself. Seren, she missed her little brother so much. She'd thought of him before, missing the pack she, Chloe and Seren were. They had had their fun, they had grown together and yet Chloe had vanished and Mother had began to tell stories of her adventures in the past and then Katrine had gone after her and yet, Chloe wasn't with Mother anymore, telling her she had done something yet again. Avarisa's voice boomed into her head like a threat. "Shut up," she muttered, ordering it away before she heard her own voice. Daddy killed people to make Mommy happy. It was something she had said just a few years ago and yet, where was Mother? Lost. Where was Father? Promising to stay with her. None of that was right. Sale's voice broke through next, making her giggle. It was a fun thing, him wondering what it was like to throw someone out of a ship though she hadn't understood then nor did she understand now it had been because of her many questions. Then her voice had broken through. Memories were swelling through.

ozzcFb.gif
Kat... Mother had looked at her, her face turning even with the smile. It had been one of the last times she had seen her before she had vanished, unaware of what Katrine was about to do but then maybe Mother had known because it was what was always meant to happen. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. Katrine didn't understand. She didn't grow up knowing Chloe was in the past and Mother told her about the past a lot. Then maybe Mother had waited until she was old enough to understand, after Chloe had disappeared. She was well aware of the fact that in regards to her parents and many aunts and uncles before her, her early life had been safe and protected, sheltered even. She had not felt loss of a loved one in that time, she had not been forced to stand at a funeral ceremony of anyone she had cared, never shed a tear because someone had died. Before Chloe had gone missed, she didn't even know how it would feel to lose someone so her decision to bring her home had been completely natural.

When her vision cleared for a moment, she heard Karna addressing Grace and her head turned again, seeing her sister seated on one of the chairs, looking up at her with his missmatched eyes, looking so sad, making her expression turn sad in return.
ozzsO5.gif
Katrine needed to find her, she knew that. She was her big sister and she loved her and a big part wanted to go home to her parents and Seren but she couldn't, not before she had found her big sister. Chloe was part of her same as Seren was, she couldn't leave her here. The three of them were a pack and together, they were a family with their parents. Without Chloe, that family could be complete. Karna spoke again, her gaze shifting to him for just a second but she still wanted to see Chloe, turning her head back to find the seat where her sister had been seated seconds ago completely vacant. Was she seeing things?

Her head turned back to look at Karna and Grace next, trying to regain her senses. "I think Grace is my friend too," she told Karna but was still looking at Grace as she said it, a small smile showing. "Oh, did you want to meet some Jedi, Karna? I don't know any of them. Except maybe...," her eyes wondered through the room, finding first the beautiful blond who had been next to Uncle Isley before talking to Stephanie Swail. "Except her. Nightmother Tmoxin brought her one day. She's nice but I'm not sure she has a lot of power. I don't think so at least," Kat revealed. Stephanie had brought someone really sick, requesting the Mandragora's help with something. She couldn't remember exactly what sort of help she was requesting but Kat could remember her being there.
ozz5LX.gif

Laughter reached her ears, her head turning again. Her expression softened before she'd even seen them, a gently and sad smile forming on her face as the two sat on a single chair together and laughed. It was her and Seren, laughing together. It made her miss him even more then, watching them just laugh the way they had while they were still together. "I have a little brother, you know. He's the bestest. Mother always said it was important that we looked after each other," Katrine informed Karna, while still looking at the chair that was really vacant but for her, she and Seren were still laughing together. A pack, a family. Mother had always enforced the importance of it when they were children, which had ultimately played a huge role in making her up and disappear herself. Those values were very important to them.

"I know lots of people like that. Good to know I came in time. I'll look for the bartender serving this spiked drink."

Rick left the table and crowd, searching for a trail of collapsed drunks. Surely enough, in front of him were two people with the symptoms of drunkenness, flailing around, almost collapsing before someone would push them back up. As he continued along the path of drunks like a dog tracking a scent to its source, he noticed that the dancing was beginning on the stage and people were already doing maneuvers he had never even heard of. That would have to come after he found the bartender.

Eventually, the trail of drunks began to thin, almost like the bartender knew she was being chased. The level of drunks returned to normal and he was just about to leave and find some more appetizers when he saw a plate and a hand soar swiftly through the crowd, with glasses of liquid inside. Then, a Twi'lek man nearby ran into another man in a hug, clearly drunk, still holding his glass with a little bit of liquid inside. He realized at that moment that the liquid in that glass was the same liquid on that plate.

(Sorry for taking so long, Thanksgiving was eventful)

No one took Lola up on her taunt to drink someone under the table, which caused her great annoyance.

It’s clear that even these Jedi like to get down and get loose, she thought, brow furrowing watching some sloppy dancing and loud socializing, but perhaps her approach had been too blunt and brutish. Maybe she needed a different tactic. Lola had, after all, won a medium-sized cruiser in a sabacc game. Surely she just needed to gamble something of more worth than just bragging rights. The Holdover came to mind again…

“Look if I’m going to be taken seriously about this drinking contest tonight, I suppose I need a better reward. If you win you will get a ship. Not just any vessel but an upgraded Zygerrian Slave Ship. If I win, I just get bragging rights.”

She spun around her slowly looking for someone who wanted to challenge her liver.

“Any one? You get an entire ship if you can out-drink me. I’ll even let you pick the alcohol!”

Stephanie watched in amusement. She didn’t feel annoyed or irritated by the rather loud and merry guest - [member="Lola An'Arach"] - shouting her wagers and taunts. If anything, it was entertaining. She grinned and looked around. Nobody was taking up the challenge!

It would be embarrasing for the Order, for Valae and herself if she even thought she could be brave and foolish enough to take part, but what about the worldy-wide apprentice by her side?

”Hey!” Stephanie hissed to [member="Srina Talon"] beside her. ”You could do that! Use the Force, or something. Get us a ship!”

She jabbed her elbow into Srina’s ribs.

Kurayami caught wind of the drinking contest as presented by [member="Lola An'Arach"], well no matter how it ended it would be a good time. He walked up to her as he finished off the bottle of namana nectar in his hand.

"I will take you up on that challenge. Corellian rum. I don't care win or lose, this should be fun."

He set the now empty bottle down on the table in front of him, waving the bartender over and nodding towards her.

"Ready to start whenever you are ma'am. Unless we are waiting for more."

Srina began playing a careful game of avoidance and omission. The girl on her arm felt kind. Light breathed and moved in her; much the same way it did in her dear friend Cassius Droma. His ways were a little less by the book but they were still nonetheless guardians of goodness. Little totems of hope. Not for the first time she was left wondering what her place truly was. The lines that lay between Jedi and Sith seemed like they should have been clear. Only, they weren’t. The world blurred as the situation demanded.

Everything had a disturbing area of gray.

“Oh…It’s nothing…”, Srina responded slowly, sweet tones reassuring, despite her inner turmoil. “The Force can just be…Unpredictable.”

Cruel, was the word she was thinking, but didn’t wish to say.

Srina waited patiently for Stephanie to divulge her wishes but it seemed unnecessary. A small laugh trilled from her, demure, almost birdlike. Spirits were high, the Padawan had claimed, but it seemed that her life goals spilled from her as easily as sand moved through an hourglass. Her words were so innocent. The pale-skinned warrior was entirely bemused as to how the woman beside her could seem so knowledgeable and yet so young at the same time.

She could actually feel the girl shiver and the little Echani paused in her leisurely walk. “Are you all right?”

The Padawan seemed to be, as she kept speaking, but it still left Srina wondering. She’d read the reports of the recent trials that the Silver Jedi had endured. The claims, the insanity, and an entire planet left in ruin. “We all fail. We all make mistakes…It’s natural. No one is perfect. Just strive to be the best you can be. That’s all anyone can ever ask of you.”

Stephanie offered to let her head over to the newly announced drinking contest and she shook her head, causing white-gold hair to shimmer under the lights. “It would best if I refrain.”, she murmured kindly, smiling as she turned to catch the surprisingly pointy elbows. “Would that I could…But my tolerance is exceedingly low.”

Feeling as if she were somehow disappointing the Padawan she amended her words, remembering that of all the things she had learned, was that her Master had vast amounts of credits and did nothing with them. Verd Industries produced more than enough starfighters and yachts that if she asked in the nicest way possible—She was sure he would let her have another one. “If you really want a ship…I’m certain that my Master would provide one. You are our ally.”

It was then that she caught something out of the corner of her eye. The apprentice, Akabane Jarvik, that she had seen earlier in the evening. She caught him looking straight at her before he seemed to freeze, turn tail, and run. A singular elegant eyebrow rose and she took a step from the Padawan in confusion. “Jarvik?”, she called after him, not really sure what to make of his performance.

“That was…odd. It was like he saw a ghost…”, she spoke to the Padawan at her side. For a brief moment, she let go of her new friend and peeked past the silken curtain that separated the balcony from the rest of the hall. The lights were dim and she could see the apprentice standing in the faint breeze. Drink in hand. Was he sick from the drink? “Jarvik? Are you all well?”

She wished that Metus was close by. Surely, he would know what was troubling his apprentice. Srina was miserable when it came to discerning emotional issues.

Raven could only lazily watch on as the hall before her twisted and turned, and many other strange aberrations of her senses wrought her mind. From changing colors, multiple people, voices that weren't there, and lights that would make one think an aircraft flew about the room with it's searchlight flickering on and off in many places as it went around. It was a very disorienting experience for her at this point, but even still, she couldn't find it within herself to panic, as she normally would. In that regard, she was left in a ditsy, drunken state. She could still stand up straight for the most part at least, as the Togruta tried to assist her to her feet from her stool. Now, when she moved, she felt as though her body was vibrating. It was a ticklish, yet numbing feeling for her. She ignored it, only to look over to the other Pdawan, taking in the shifting features of her face. Now, she had eight eyes, much like a spider. Her nose shifted sizes, and Raven could only giggle and poke her on her nose.

"Boop. You are... Noses ish.. Big. Yourer.. Your... Uhg..." She shook her head, trying to make her words known through her terribly slurred speech. Maybe the drink was stronger than she thought?

"Your nose is biiigg. Jeesh..."

She began to giggle, which then grew into laughter.

"Ahaaa~. Biig nooose Asaaraaaaa~. I'm sorrryy. Thash.. Mean..."

"I'd like that very much," she replied to Kat, in reference to sparring. "We should set something up when we have time." She gave her a smile. Kira was used to training against droids, but it was rare that she ever fought against another. This could be a good learning experience for me. I won't have the luxury of always fighting droids on a mission. I need to learn and get a feel for how people think and react.

She grinned as Kat playfully nudged her, and together the pair made their way over to the man at the bar. Kira lead the way as they walked up to Kurayami, who leaned against the bar, sipping from namana nectar, the bottle read.

"H-hello," she stammered, suddenly having regrets about being so social. She pushed the regrets down under the surface and continued despite them. "I'm Kira, and this is Kat," she said, turning to introduce her new friend. "What is your name? I don't believe I've ever seen you around the Temple before. Are you a Silver Jedi?"

Asaraa almost dropped Raven as she stared down at her own nose, the offending nub of flesh wrinkling up as the red-skinned Togruta almost went cross-eyed with the effort.

"I do not have a big nose!"

Her voice was shocked, strident with alarm as she twirled around, dragging Raven in a big circle as the two Padawans almost seemed to be dancing for a moment. Intellectually Asaraa knew that it wasn't important, but at that moment she couldn't stress the necessity of proving her friend wrong. It was a strident thought that cut through the fluffy cloud that seemed to be obscuring her thoughts.

The Togruta could only blink in surprise as her new friend started giggling, her own lips curling up into a grin as she heard herself laughing too.

"It's ok...your drunk...I'm drunk...we're all drunk."

[member="Raven Sorenova"]

The alcohol was supposed to let him feel relaxed in situations like this. Maybe that was the issue, perhaps he needed more. No, drinking senselessly wouldn't help. Besides there was no point. His drink had already started taking effect, since he didn't hear Srina say his name the first time. Though his mind could've been somewhere else.

Akabane placed the glass on his lips just as Srina said something. One thought went through his jumbled mind. Oh my it seems she saw me. he stopped moving, kinda shocked. "Well that's embarrassing." he muttered, not sure how to explain himself. She asked if everything was alright. "Miss Talon, thank you for your concern. I'm doing well." he said looking back with a smile. "Are you enjoying the lively party?"

He jumped on top of the handrail facing the night sky and sipping his drink every few seconds. Somehow balancing himself while slightly drunk wasn't too hard. It was still dangerous either way. Akabane did stupid things like this pretty often though. Most times he found a way out of getting hurt, usually.

Ellidar sat around bored, fiddling with a little mechanism that he built. It spun around a sparked little tiny sparks. All of a sudden, the mechanism made a small pop and fell apart into a few bits and pieces.

"Damn, again? Trying to rebuild this thing to be cool already is not working, whats next?"

Ellidar started to reassemble the little mechanism on the table. He wondered what was going to happen with his life in a later days. He finally fixed the mechanism after a few minutes went by and resumed play with it.

Kurayami smiled slightly as the two women approached. He really hoped they weren't upset with him, it would not do to make too much a fool of himself in front of the SJO as there were still some who knew him around here he was sure. Today though he was here as a member of the Confederacy. He maintained eye contact with the women as [member="Kira Novak"] introduced them. His gaze moved over to [member="Kat Decoria"] when her name was mentioned. Sketching an informal bow, he nodded before introducing himself.

"Pleasure to meet you ladies. I am Kurayami Bloodborn, former member of the Silver Jedi, even if I never officially left the order. Kinda weird honestly. While a Force user I don't agree with the view that the Force is a dichotomy. I won't bore you two with those things however. How about you, Kat? Kira? Are you both members of the Silver Order?"

Darth Metus knew.

Although uttered in the lightest of hearts, he knew dancing the night away wasn't exactly the most appealing activity to the Captain. She was cut from a similar cloth as her father, after all. In fact, she was most comparable to the life he lived when he was a young man. Before the Force. Before the Sith Empire. Before Rave Merrill. [member="Nyx"] was...a reflection of the glory-drunk Mandalorian who'd wake up in seedy cantinas with a tab the size of Coruscant.

And because of that, when the contest was announced, a grin formed on his face. "Change of plans, Captain." he began, motioning towards the commotion with his thumb. "If there's one among us who can sweep these Jedi under a rug, it's you. Go win that ship for me, and I promise I'll buy you a whole weekend at any hole in the wall you choose."

He turned, briefly craning his neck to see where the festivities were going down; but in the process spied [member="Akabane Jarvik"] skulking away from the swaying bodies. "Hmm...Give me a second, I'll be back around." he began, nodding to both the Captain and her significantly more conservative sibling, [member="Anastasia Verd"]. "Just want to check up on those two. Shouldn't take long."

With that, the Sith braved the floor, navigating through the perilous mass of swaying bodies. It was a wonder that he didn't spill his drink, what with all the stray elbows that grazed him along the way. However, he eventually came upon what sounded like the beginnings of a bad joke: Two Apprentices and a Padawan standing on a Balcony. He came in just in time to hear Srina ask if Jarvik was all well and his response.

"You all know that the party is in there, right?"

His thumb jabbed in the direction of the intoxicated Padawans and thriving music.

"And what're you doing up there Akabane? C'mon, you're supposed to be out there cutting a rug." He said, his tone alive with amusement and completely devoid of any awareness of his apprentice's plight. Noticing [member="Stephanie Swail"], he extended his offhand in her direction. "Look, here's a lovely one of our hosts. Why don't you hop on down and give her a few minutes of your time - Master's orders."

He took a light swig of his beverage before continuing. "And Srina and I will tag along, just for fun. Won't we?" The drink was promptly abandoned on an adjacent, flat surface while he offered his dominant hand to the radiant Echani.
