Willa Isard
Infiltration Specialist
The Ranger's Compound on felucia was one of the few assets the SIlver Jedi's rangers had kept active and used... with large scale improvements... Paladins, Rangers and different strike teams beign able to come to the facility to train how to use the force in their fighting and shooting. The sounds of the weapons was different.. since the rifles used shatter tech from the verpine they were quieter.. you didn't get the crack and booms of slugthrowers or the smoothness of blasters releasing the cartridge gasses... instead is was very subdued and more a whisper..... with heavy results as the shots that were being fired were high end explosives made for causing maximum impact and damage over an area... so the whisp sound was followed usually but a ground shattering impact as the energy wrapped pellets of baradium were fired several kilometers a second into the hardlight holographic targets letting sensors read the impact without deforming the ground and facility.
The rest of the facility functioned as intended.. with different classes for combat, tactics and practice... they could send teams out as needed to assist or protect. Near the ancient abyss there was always traveling rancors that were dangerous or wayward explorers coming to try and get lost searching. Her paladins were up in the watchtowers observing with their longest range rifles and the development labs were making better versions of the different rifles. From ones liek her silvermist which was a weapons platform unto itself to orbital sniper rifles with cloaked blinds that would allow them to be deployed for missions above planets and provide overwatch with advanced targeting computers. The stone defenses with metal plating on either side and shielding overhead in sections to overlap aided as well. Things avoided them out here and the natural defenses of rocks and moat trenches that had been dug around and throughout the mined areas. Allowing them to move or channel water in storms.
"Commander." She heard the words and turned around, the uniform clad soldiers saluting as she returned it to them and nodded. "Reports." The first one stepped forward and sent the information to her interface while reading off key points. "We have begun to implement the new upgrades to the fabrication equipment for weapons and armor. The materia stores are still high and ninety nine percent of the armor is takignto the new upgrades. The few problems are being sent to the techs to overlook and find where the defect is. Food stores are overly filled and we have begun preservation procedures with stasis chambers to keep it and organize the cases. We received new recruits as well as visitors looking for training. Information is being given for background checks but most seem promising. The public relations are annoyed but letting others who want to train and learn while being able to look for recruits seemed to annoy them less." She gave a nod and they would be abel to do a lot with the people who were being brought in at least to the outer facility for training and new arrivals.
