Endor Dragon Slayers

Ana couldn't help but smile as the little one finally made its way to her to pet it's slimy little head. They were so cute and the best part was Ice agreed that they ought to take them back. He could have one and she could have the other.

As she reached into her bag for something to wipe him off with she heard the roar of the mother. The sound of mother actually made the baby dragons chirp even more. It seemed they were excited to see her or hungry. She took it as they were hungry.

Jumping up she looked to Ice. They were about to be dragon lunch if they didn't do something now. "Let's flank her. You go left and I'll stick to the right. Good Luck," she stated. Lightly kissing him on the cheek before running off to get in position.

Crouching down behind a rock Ana waited and watched as the mother dragon came tearing into the cave destroying everything in its path. In its mouth was a dead Ewok covered in blood which it promptly dropped in front of its babies. The dragon licked the two little ones a few times before raising its head to look around.

Ana could tell from here that firing at it would do no good. The best chance she had was her knife or her saber. She was pretty sure that either one of those would do the trick.

Ana sat in wait for the opportune time to strike.

So they were to flank. "Perfect." He said quickly. And then she lightly kissed him which despite the urgency, moved him to be a bit playful. "Whoa Whoa! Wait. One sec." When she'd stop with her back still facing him, he'd smack her butt and tell her while barely holding back a laugh, "Get going. What are you waiting for?" At that he laughed lightly unable to hold it back any longer. It was shortlived however, and Ice quickly stifled it as the Condor Dragon came bounding in, apparently with an Ewok in its jaws. "Poor guy." He thought to himself. But then he realized everything has to eat.

He had probably waited to long since now the dragon was right next to the babies. He didn't want to risk shooting the dragon and have it stampede of them to get to him. It was then he had a thought. Would his rifle even do anything to a dragon? It was a thought he REALLY should have had earlier. So now it seemed he was in a poor position and possible with a useless weapon again this particular opponent. He had his grenades, but that also put the baby dragons at risk. It was then another thought occurred to him.

Taking a big risk, he was banking on the dragon not willing to sacrifice its young ones. Raising his rifle, he let loose a string of fire into its head and chest are to startle it and keep it stunned for as long as he could. Meanwhile, he made a mad dash back to the babies and took one in his arms. Holding it in plain sight for the mother dragon to see. "Ana now!" He yelled hoping she would pick up on what he was trying to do.

The mother was now obviously infuriated. Ice could see a bit of blood trickling from where his particle beam bolts had impacted. But they were superficial wounds at best. The mother took in a deep breath, Ice assumed to let loose a wave of fire in his direction, but suddenly stopped when she saw the baby in his arms. This was probably the most terrifying few seconds of his life, and he could only hope Ana would break out that lightsaber of hers seeing as ineffective even his rifle was.

She couldn't help but giggle as he smacked her butt. It seemed that he was getting a bit bolder and frisky too. Ana couldn't say she didn't like it. As she walked away she gave him a sexy wink. Even in the face of danger they could still be playful. She liked that.

From where she was hidden Ana could see all the action. Ice had not only fired at the dragon hold one of its babies. Sighing she shook her head but she understood what he was trying to do. Distract it so she could go in for the kill.

Once the dragon opened its mouth Ana's saber hummed on and she jumped up from her hiding taking a swipe at one of its legs. The saber worked as she had been able to take out a good chunk of her leg. The mother dragon roared in pain and turned to face Ana.

It roared again at Ana as she swung her saber at its chest which managed to slice in a little. It only did enough damage this time to cause a little blood shed. The dragon opened it mouth in which it roared again at her lifting its good leg at her to swipe at her. Ana ducked in order to avoid the leg. As its huge leg landed back on the ground with a thud back on the ground it roared again this time spewing fire in her direction. The more she avoided the dragon's shots the angrier it became.

He grinned widely when he saw she had taken his meaning the way he meant. Gently setting the baby dragon back down, he charged the adult to help out Ana. As he started to make his way forward he noticed the dragon was about to unleash a hellstorm of fire right into her face. His mind was a flurry of thoughts all of the sudden, Ana the woman he had just come on a trip to enjoy a simple vacation away from work. His vod, a person he was having quite a lot of confusing emotions about at the moment was now. They hadn't really been that close in the past, but in just the short time, he had grown to care for her. And he thought he was about to lose that connection with someone...yet again.

As the dragon reered back to bellow out its fiery wave of death, Ice tackled Ana as gently as he could, but still forcibly enough to get her partially concealed behind a boulder. The rest of her was shielded by his own body as the wall of fire smashed into them. His armor had proved to be his saving grace. For it was made from the hide of a Greater Calama. A creature whose primary residence was landscapes around active volcanoes. Even going so far as to works its ways through lava floes. The fury of the dragons breath thus did nothing to burn through.

That wasn't to say it didn't get hot On the inside of the suit temperatures began to rise quickly. Ice began grinding his teeth together tightly at the seering pain he began to feel through his suit. But willingly took the pain to save Ana. As soon as the flames had started though they seemed to stop. Much to Ice's relief. Ice and fire don't mix very well it seemed, and he was now just angry. The dragon, although looking surprised at first upon seeing a second not so cloaked person anymore now standing where her previous target was, prepared to launch another devastation barrage of fire. He pulled his thermal detonator from off his belt and activated it. "That's enough out of you!" He said angrily as he threw the device straight into the open maw of the beast.

The dragon recoiled as if it was choking on the object for a moment till it swallowed the small item. Another second or two later, a glowing orb of energy soon engulfed a huge portion of the dragon as the thermal detonator vaporized most of its body from the inside. Its head, and what was left of it wings, tail, and legs fell lifeless to the floor. Ice let out a deep sigh of relief as he stood there. The back of his armor a seering slightly molten mess. It was then he realized it was still burning him. And he quickly threw off the upper portion of his armor. His back had a several burn blisters spread across it, but that mattered not to him. He turned around after the armor was off him and checked on his companion.

"Ana! Are you ok!?" He asked desperately, unsure if his reckless move had actually saved her or not.

[member="Anastasia Rade"]

Just as she was about to become Dragon BBQ Ice jumped in front of her not only pushing her out of the way but also shielding her. Ana had been about to use a spell but after being pushed there had been no time.

Closing her eyes she waited for the onslaught of flames to end hoping his armor would hold. She didn't want to lose him. He wasn't only Vod, Ana had grown close to him in the short amount of time they spent together. He made her laugh again and brought out her fun side.

She sighed with relief and opened her eyes in time to see him thrown a detonator in its mouth blowing it to pieces. Ana could see that his armor had been charred by the dragon and as he took that off she could see his back had quite a few burn blisters on it.

"I'm fine, thanks to you." Leaning forward she passionately kissed him on the lips. "Your my hero, you saved my life. I can't thank you enough." Ana didn't know how but she was going to find a good way to repay him. This reckless move of his showed her that he cared about her a great deal.

"Are you ok?" Ana wasn't going to take no I'm fine for an answer she had seen the blisters. She wanted to take care of him and make sure his burns didn't become infected. "Are you hurt?" She questioned as she continued to fuss over him her eyes looked him up and down. Gently she took his shoulder and spun him around in a circle so she could evaluate. Ana saw some minor burns on his chest as well. Those would be easier to handle than the back ones. "I want to put some soothing cream on your blisters now and look at them again when we go back to camp. I promise to be gentle." If he let her, she was going to take care of him.

There was a look of relief as she declared she was fine. He kiss was returned with just as much passion as she gave. Though he started to shy away at the praise. He didn't feel like a hero. Ice just felt like he was doing what any Mando should have done. Ok so, he may have been a bit more motivated than he tried to let on. But still, he simply nodded sheepishly. As she started to ask about his condition, he at first tried to beg off. "Oh I'm fine. It just got a little toasty in the armor."

When she took his shoulder though and spun him around, he gritted his teeth again somewhat but didn't say anything as she began to inspect his back. "Holy hell." He thought to himself. Did he really get burned that bad? He spun his head around just enough so that he could catch a glimpse of those mesmerizing eyes. With a small sigh, he yielded. "Alright...and thanks." With a wink, he turned back around and sat up straight while she prepared to put some sort of cream on his back.

Well he may have fantasized briefly about her being his nurse...but somehow it didn't look the same in his vision of the scenario. The thought almost made him chuckle out loud, but he managed to stifle it. Turning his head, he caught a glimpse of the baby dragons who had settled back down and were in fact just munching away on the dead Ewok. "Well good that they made it out of that fight alright as well." Thinking about the rest of the trip was going to go with him now injured. He wondered what they might do now. "Hey you don't think taking a dip in that river is a bad idea with my back the way it is right now do ya?" The thought of nice cool river water going across this overheating skin just sounded quite nice, so he was curious.

Taking her eyes off him for the moment she turned to see that in fact the baby dragons were ok. Good, she hadn't wished for them to get hurt. As her eyes went back to Ice she could tell he was lying about not being in pain. He was just trying to be brave for her.

"The cooling waters of the river would do well on your skin. Going for a dip maybe a good idea." Her mind couldn't help but wander to the last time the two took a dip together. It was quite nice and she suspected this time to be no different.

As he took a seat Ana kneeled down in front of him. "You may feel a tingling sensation but I promise it will pass. Let me know if you feel any pain." Placing her hands over his chest she concentrated on repairing the damaged cells of his skin. Once finished she moved herself to his back side to try to do the same.

His poor back was in much worse shape but that wasn't going to keep her from trying to fully heal him. Placing her hands on his back she once again concentrated on repairing his damaged cells and those that couldn't be repaired for new to be made in their place.

Once the young woman was done she found his pigment had begun to change back to its normal pigment. His blisters were still there but they shouldn't hurt and would fade given time.

Ana would have gone after those next but healing his skin had taken much of her energy. They still needed to get back to camp and she wasn't sure what to expect on the way back. She didn't want to end up running on empty.

Reaching into her bag she pulled out the lotion. Placing some in her hands she set the bottle down as she put it over his back before gently slowly rubbing it over his back. She couldn't help but enjoy caressing his skin and this lotion was a good excuse to do so. Moving to his front she once again placed the lotion on him and began caressing it in. Her eyes went to look up into his. "How are you feeling?"

Her mind was spinning with all of the various emotions she was feeling for him. She hadn't expected this. Ana enjoyed his kisses, feel of his skin against hers.

[member="Ice"]

"Fantastic." Came his genuine reply. Though he was less concerned about how it would help his back and more about ensuring his new injury wouldn't impede any activities they may wish to engage in. When she instructed him to tell her if he felt any pain as she went to work on him, he simply nodded. One thing she would find out soon enough, was he didn't like to complain. So even if it were to hurt, it was unlikely Ice would make a sound unless the pain simply overwhelmed him.

She placed her hands on his chest, but didn't have any of that cream stuff she had mentioned. He found it odd, but just sat there and waited to see what she was up to. Not that he minded her having her hands all over him. Quite the contrary in fact. It was more just curiosity. It was then she began to pull from the force to heal his wounds both the lighter burns on his chest, as well as partially taking care of the much worse burns on his back. The feeling itself was surreal. It actually reminded him of how he felt around those force crystals they had discovered on Enigma Prime, but more soothing.

As she began working whatever healing salve she had brought along into his back and then his chest, he simply watched her eye as they would sparkle every now and again from the fires still dancing throughout the cave. The pain she warned about, was barely there and would soon disappear due to her most useful skill.

How did he feel? Now that was an interesting question. Did she mean about her? Because she was amazing. He knew faults were there, but dang, he just couldn't find them at the present. Did she mean about the trip? Because he was having the time of his life, even despite the injury. Looking down at her soft hands rubbing his chest, he almost smirked. Or maybe that was just another highlight. Ice wasn't sure. Or did she simply mean his injuries. No pain was a good thing. Super quick healing was even better. Thinking on it for a couple seconds more, he simply took her hands in his, smiled, and said, "Wonderful. Absolutely wonderful." After he pulled her in for another kiss.

[member="Anastasia Rade"]

Returning his kiss Ana just smiled at his response. She wasn't sure if he was referring to his pain being gone or well other things. The young woman had a feeling that it was a little of both. This death filled cave was not the place to get all handsy and frisky with each other. Ana just hadn't been able to resist the opportunity when it had presented itself.

"We should get going," she smiled at him as she got up. Ana didn't want any more time in this terrible place. It was going to take weeks to get the scent of death off her. She didn't mind though they had gotten the opportunity to watch the hatching of two baby dragons and slay a big one.

Her gaze went from him to the now sleeping baby dragons whom had eaten their fill of lunch. Even though she had seen them eat a dead Ewok she still thought they were pretty adorable.

Before letting go of his hands she gave them a gentle squeeze. Carefully walking over to the sleeping baby dragon she picked him up cradling him in her arms. As she did so the little one yawned a little as if it was about to wake up but quickly nuzzled inside in her arms falling back asleep. It was time to take this little guy home. He could sleep in the tent with her for the time being. At some point she would also need to name him.

[member="Ice"]

"Aye. But a couple things first." While she walked over to the baby dragons, he pulled out his datapad and began taking holos of the scene. His battered armor which was no longer able to cloak in the back as all the cloaking material had melted. "I'll have to redesign that perhaps, when I get back to Libertalia." He thought to himself. Noticing Ana just picking up one of the two dragons, he pivots around and snaps a holo of her cradling the little guy in her arms. Hopefully before she caught him, Ice turned back around and snapped a few holos of the dragon. Well, what was left of it.

Looking at the beast, he had a idea. Ice suddenly wanted more than just holos to remember the moment. What hunter wouldn't want a trophy from the animal that was just slain? Harvesting a good many teeth and its claws, he headed back to where Ana was. "Alright, let me get my crispy armor back on, and I'll pick up the second dragon." Quickly, he did just that. With their purpose accomplished, he was ready to get out of the horrific smelling cave.

As they began to leave, one last thought came to mind. "One second, I'll be right back." Moving as carefully as he could to not disturb the sleeping dragon in his arms, Ice began looking over what was left of the Ewok. See it had been wearing a necklace of sorts, he took that as well. With a glance back at Ana he shrugged. "If we do run into the Ewoks, it would probably be a kindness to let them know what happened to their clansman." Ice then followed Ana on out.

[member="Anastasia Rade"]

Ana was far too busy cuddling with her little dragon to realize he was taking holos of her. She didn't care really. If he wished for a picture of her for his desk Ana wouldn't mind. Looking up for a moment from the dragon she watched as he put his armor back on. It was in a sad state and she couldn't help but feel a little bad at that but she was sure in no time he would have it fixed up.

As he took trophies for himself she half watched. "Planning on making a necklace with those?" She could imagine him showing it off and telling the tale of how he took down the mighty dragon.

"Perhaps we could go search clan tomorrow and let them know. I have always wanted to see an Ewok village anyway," she stated as they made their way out of the cave. It wouldn't be as dangerous as dragon slaying but she had a feeling it would be just as fun.

They had barely exited the cave when the two were greeted by a bigger dragon whom came roaring out of the sky to come crashing down in front of them. The force of the dragon hitting the ground caused it to shake with such force it almost knocked Ana off balance. It certainly woke up the sleeping dragon in her arms.

Carefully she placed the dragon in her bag which she set on the ground out of the way. Igniting her saber she looked to growling dragon as she swiped her saber at it which it hit in the chest causing a little bleeding a chunk of skin to fall to the ground but more than that made daddy dragon more angry.

"I got this, watch the babies." Her little one was on the ground but she was sure that he would be squirming around in a bit. She wanted Ice to keep track of him while she dealt with daddy dragon whom she had angered. It was high time she saw him that she was more than a pretty face.

Using the Force she was able to summersault jump on top of the dragon's back. Plunging the saber in its back it roared in pain and stood on its hind legs. Holding on to a wing Ana was able to keep herself from being bucked off.

As the dragon lowered its legs back on the ground she pulled herself back up the length of the dragon. Ana had hurt the dragon but if hadn't been enough to put it down.

The dragon could sense that it had a rider so it shook itself trying once again to knock her off. Ana rocked a little to her left and dropped her saber but didn't fall all the way off. She had been able to correct herself and continue her ascend up the dragon. Pulling herself up more she was able to straddle the dragon's neck. Calling her saber to her hand she grasped it with the other hand as well.

Taking a deep breath she plunged her saber down into the head of the dragon. It gave one last loud roar as it began to fall. As it fell Ana jumped off in the opposite direction.

[member="Ice"]

"Aye why not?" He said with a smile. "One for you and I. It was a team effort after all. Not sure if' we'll have many opportunities to wear that type of necklace....but it'll be a fun memento to have nonetheless." Ice smiled again at her comment about searching out Ewok clans and having always wanted to see an Ewok village. Ice himself was also excited by the prospect of finding one of their villages. Though he imagined they might have to do a search in the opposite direction of the mountain. "We should probably start our search away from the mountain. I kind of doubt they would build a village anywhere close to a Condor Dragon cave. And I hope they don't suspect we had anything to do with the little guys disappearance." Ice really did want to find one, but that was a real concern of his.

Before another word could be uttered, his thoughts were interrupted by the crashing feet of yet another dragon right in front of them. His eyes opened wide as he saw the beast was even larger than the one in the cave. "Osi'kyr!" Was all he could say as he nearly dropped the baby dragon in his hands trying to get his weapon. His eyes quickly turned toward Ana as he noticed her setting her baby dragon down and charging without a second thought. He was about to protest her taking on daddy dragon by herself, but she was already gone.

Suddenly flying into the air, Ice looked on in amazement as she landed on the creatures back and began attacking it from above. Ice set his dragon down and was finally able to take aim. All the while, he stayed close to the babies to make sure they didn't run away. Plus they made for a good shield as the dragons seemed truly intent on protecting their babies and making sure they weren't harmed. He wanted to open fire, but the risk of hitting Ana while she was on the bucking beast was too great. He'd have to wait for her to either get off....or be thrown off.

It seemed as though the dragon was about to unleash when Ana's saber was plunged into its skull, and soon fell to the floor lifeless. Watching her jump away gracefully before it hit the ground, a grin began forming on his face as he stared at her in amazement. His rifle slowly lowered toward the floor as he turned back toward the dead dragon. "Huh..." "I may be in love" , he suddenly thought to himself jokingly. Turning back toward Ana, he laughed lightly. "Well ok. Now I see how it's supposed to be done." Ice said proudly as he winked. Maybe he wasn't kidding with his earlier thought. He always admired a woman that could look after herself. Indeed, she seemed to have it all. Personality, is a Mandalorian, looks, family connections, and holy hell could she fight. Surely there was something wrong with her....right? Whatever it was, it was still a mystery to him.

"Here, look after the dragons. I'll go retrieve the prizes from this one as well." He shook his head, still almost unbelieving at what had just happened in near the blink of an eye. It didn't take him long, and he soon returned with more teeth, claws, and maybe another holo or two. Picking up his newborn dragon, he tried to calm it down after the excitement of the bigger dragon stomping around and roaring and making all kind it racket...right before Ana put it down like a boss. "Ready to get out of here before the grandparents stop by to visit the kids as well?" Ice asked laughingly.

[member="Anastasia Rade"]

It took mad skills putting down a dragon without breaking a finger nail. She prided herself on being able to do it and showing him what she was made of. She could tell by the way he just stared at her that he was impressed as well.

Ana couldn't help but smile as she walked back to the now awaken baby dragons. They had seen a lot of excitement for their first day out in the big galaxy. Picking up her bag she slung it over her shoulder before picking up the baby dragon and once again cradling it in her arms as one would a baby. She could go from fierce warrior to protective mommy mode quite quickly.

On the outside Ana looked perfect but she was good at hiding things. The young woman had a dark past and had a rough time with her siblings. Being here on Endor with Ice was simply wonderful and she was having the time of her life.

As she thought of it now a necklace would be overkill so perhaps she would make herself a nice dragon bracelet that she could just keep on her wrist at all times.

"Definitely," she giggled as his comment about the grandparents visiting. After scanning once more for anything she dropped Ana began to head back to camp through the forest with Ice.

"I'm thinking of letting him sleep in the tent with me. It's much safer than outside. He's only a baby after all. What do you think?" She was going to have to figure a way to feed him too. It looked though from what he previously ate that anything would do. Well, anything with meat.

[member="Ice"]

Ice gave a quick nod, and they made their way back. It was near dark though by the time they arrived at their campsite. The interesting thing to note was the dragons didn't react at all to the subsonic field emitters that Ice had set up to keep bug and small critters away. Maybe there hearing wasn't attuned to the frequency like smaller animals would be? Or maybe the device was simply designed for a smaller range of creatures and pests. Either way, it seemed that they were in luck. It also gave him a reason to answer a certain way.

"Well somehow I doubt you'll get any sleep at all if you have a baby dragon in their flopping about in the much smaller tent. How about we let them both stay together in my bigger tent? I'll build a fire, we can keep that tent close so they don't get cold. And the sonic emitters I set up..." He said while pointing out the half dozen devices spread out in a circle around the camp. "...will keep the animals away that would try and prey on them. Plus we got Rico here who'll be on guard duty as well." It was then Rico had actually approached and begun to sniff at the miniature dragon in Ice's arm. Ice looked at Rico and stated simply. "Friendly." Rico gave a nod and it programmed the dragons into its memory as friendlies to be protected.

"What do you think about that?" He asked curiously as he unzipped the door to his huge tent. Pulling out the pack of equipment he still had to sort through, he laid the dragon in his arms onto the floor inside. With the dragon once again resting peacefully, he turned back to Ana to get her opinion. All the while crouching down to unzip his pa[member="Anastasia Rade"]ck and retrieve more necessary items for the evening.

[member="Anastasia Rade"]

Now that he said it she could imagine a baby dragon chirping away at her all night and sleeping on her head of all places. Ana couldn't help but laugh a little as she imagined a dragon sleeping on her head.

She liked the idea of giving them the big tent to roam around in at night. With all the extra precautions they had taken she knew that they would be just fine. This meant that she would be sharing her little tent with him. Ana had no quarrels with this of course. Her cheeks began to turn a light shade of red as she began thinking about snuggling up with him at night.

"Sounds good to me. My tent has plenty of room for the both of us. I don't bite, I promise." She smiled playfully winking at him. Walking over to his tent she placed her dragon in with its brother. She couldn't help but smile as she watched them curl up together.

Turning from the dragon's she went back to her tent and pulled out her bag. If she was going to be sharing she certainly couldn't hog up all the space. Unzipping her bag she looked for what she definitely needed. Blankets, pillows and the like.

"Ice, this may sound weird but are you sure you arn't Force Sensitive?" Ana was surprised that she hadn't picked up on it sooner. Perhaps she had just been focused on something else. Either way she could now sense his Force Signature clearly. "Have you ever tried using the Force? I only ask because I can sense your presence very clearly. More so than I would a non-Force user." If he wanted to give it a go she could teach him a few things. Ana wouldn't press the issue though knowing that would be something he would need to work out. Hopefully though he wouldn't reject help. It would be fun teaching him a few tricks before bed. One such one was speaking telepathic to each other. It would help on future adventures together.

[member="Ice"]

"Oh I'm sorry. I wasn't trying to imply I had to stay in your tent..." Not that he minded at all of course, "...I can sleep out here if you prefer. I was just trying make sure you would actually be able to sleep tonight. I mean don't get me wrong, I won't turn it down!" He added with a chuckle. "But I'm just making sure you know I have no problem sleeping outside as well." Opening his pack, he pulled out a few tubes of fire paste. It was just about time to get a fire going and get some food ready.

When Ana asked her next question, he turned with her with a confused look. The change of topic took him by surprised. "Well I'm about to go scrounge around for some firewood, care to join me? We can then talk while we walk." His face changed to have a smile on it as he nodded toward the direction he was taking to go look for some wood. "As for the force sensitivity thing...." He hesitated with a shrug. "....I mean I guess I'm not positive. I have never actually gone to a forcie and had them check that out for me." He paused for a moment as he thought what this could mean for him.

"So...if I have the force...does that mean I can learn to to grab thing telekinetically and have super speed and strength!? Because I'm not going to lie. That would be stupendous." He said almost laughingly now as he pictured himself hurling around boulders...and oh god...would he have to wear one of those funny robes now too!?

[member="Anastasia Rade"]

It was sweet of him to not assume he would be sharing with her. Ana couldn't let him sleep outside though, it was cold plus she enjoyed the idea of snuggling up with him tonight. The signals that she had been getting from him pointed to him wanting that as well. I know, but I would like you to stay with me." She stated as she looked up from her bag to him. The young woman liked him and she wasn't going to shy away from that. It didn't have to go any further than just sharing a tent.

Pulling a pan and blanket from her bag she set them to the side before zipping her bag back up again. Before running after him to go firewood hunting and talk some more.

"Yes, it does." She smiled as she caught up with him. "I can teach you how to tap into the Force and do all of it. We would also be able to speak to each other through the Force." It would be fun to be able to share her Force knowledge with someone. She believed that he would use the Force for good and to protect his Vod.

"If you concentrate you should be able to sense the Force. It is in everything but some people like you and me are able to tap into it. Can you feel anything? If not it's alright be patient. It will come."The basics were the most important place to start. They were the building blocks for anything else he may wish to do.

Leaning down she picked up a few sticks which would work as kindling for the fire. They would still need a few bigger logs as well.

[member="Ice"]

"Well how can I turn that down then?" He said playfully, but genuinely. Indeed, he was suddenly looking forward to heading to bed early tonight. Though with the way this trip was going, who knew what other surprises were in store. This had been nothing but surprise after surprise so far. Awesome surprises granted, but still surprises.

As he began picking up sticks and small branches, she offered to teach him about force techniques, namely speaking to each other telepathically it sounded like. What she didn't know, and indeed was almost nobody knew was that he was a Shi'ido. He already had that ability naturally. Though only over short distances. The Jedi and Sith could probably speak over much farther distances. Still, it would be difficult for him to tell if he was in fact learning to use the force or just his own natural abilities. It was not something he was comfortable talking about though. There were a few secrets he had to keep extremely close. And what he was, was one of them.

He did wonder if there would be a day when he could more fully open up to her about it. But this was not that day. Pushing aside the thoughts, he still smiled widely. "Awesome! We can get started whenever you like. I always enjoy learning new things."

Listening to her next words, he tried to feel...something....anything. "I....don't know...I mean. What is the force supposed to feel like? I have always been lucky. I get feelings every now and again when something bad is about to happen. Is it like that?"

[member="Anastasia Rade"]

"Yes, that is a sign of being Force sensitive. Being lucky is another sign I am told." Ana had never considered herself lucky. She always was running into some trouble. In some ways she figured she may be lucky as she had meet Azrael and now perhaps Ice. He had gotten her to smile and laugh again when she wished to just crawl under her bed. Being out here with him had been full of surprises.

"Here let's try something different. Concentrate on the twig in front of you. Imagine it moving into your hand." She smiled as she demonstrated by using the Force to call a branch up to her hand.

Ana knew at first it could be frustrating if you couldn't do it off the bat but she would be patient with him. Work with him as much as he needed which gave her more excuses to hang out with him. Not that she needed one as she very much enjoyed spending time with him.

The Mandalorians as a group knew where she came from and what had happened to her. They had after all been there when she had been freed. Since Ice was out of touch with his heritage he wouldn't know. Her past as a slave wasn't something she liked brining up nor her relationship with her two biological older brothers. They were sore spots.

As she waited for him to try his hand at using the Force Ana took a piece of string from her pocket and tied it around the branches she had already collected. Since she knew Pyro, she knew they would have no issue actually starting a fire.

"Well doesn't she make it look easy." He thought jokingly to himself and he looked around and soon found a suitably sized branch for the fire. Cracking his neck in preparation for this new trick, he reached out with his hand and concentrated in the branch....nothing. A small frown appeared on his face as he shrugged off the failed attempt and tried again. Still nothing. His eyes turned toward Ana, but he didn't actually turn his head. Perhaps she was wrong about his force sensitivity. Or maybe he was just a lousy student at it. Although he smirked at the notion, he didn't want to fail so spectacularly in front of her. Call it a pride thing.

Letting out a slightly annoyed sigh, he threw out his hand more forcefully, along with banishing any thoughts that may be whirling around in his mind that weren't about this dang stick. He was about to give up all hope when something amazing happened. The stupid stick flinched. His eyes widened as he couldn't believe what he saw. He turned to Ana for a second to make sure it was her playing a trick on him. Seeing no form of trickery in her eyes, he tried again. This time, it began to roll toward him a bit. The feeling was odd, but exhilarating at the same point. "My god." He thought to himself. "What must it feel like to hurl boulders around and other such larger objects?"

He wasn't going to give up now though. He wouldn't yield until that stick was in his hand and without having to bend over a single inch to get it. And so he tried again, mind cleared, focusing on the stick. Again it flinched, then rolled a bit more. But finally it rose off the ground slowly. Ice was so intently focused, he was about to start sweating if he kept it up for too much longer. But after a couple seconds that seemed like forever, he held the branch in his hand! Triumphantly he held it up and gazed at it curiously with a slightly tilted head. Switching his focus toward Ana, he beamed, "That was amazing!" Once more it didn't take him that long to pick up on it.

He began wondering what other skills he could learn with his newly discovered force powers. But that was a topic for another time. For now, it was getting late, and they still needed a fire for dinner. "Oh man, you are going to have to teach me more later! This is awesome!" He must have sounded like an excited child. But right now he didn't care. A whole new world of possibilities just opened up for Ice. And he had Ana to thank for it. Moving closer to her, he gave her a quick kiss. "Thanks you." He said enthusiastically.

They soon had gathered enough wood and had begun to set up the fire. He was going to use his fire paste to start it but apparently Ana knew how to work with fire through the force as well. Acquiescing to her skills, he began pulling out food for them from his pack instead. "So where did you learn all these force tricks of yours? I mean I didn't think the Mandos had an force academy of any kind."
