the crash is a story device as to why we are on the particular planet we are on and a way to thrust us into our game or quest to get away from those that captured us, as if we took the ship those that captured us would find it easier to track us. don't worry though the crash won't be fatal to any of us... maybe some unlucky npcs or creatures, but not us

It feels like a pointless plot point if I'm voicing mine own opinion. If we are on a ship with collars around out parts that is taking us to go commit broadcast murder only to crash the ship yet still end up doing the murder part, well call me crazy but that's a roundabout ass way to skin the cat so to speak.

I think we initially had us crashing as a way for us to end up on the planet. However with the way the antagonist company and overall story has been progressing/evolving; we could easily get rid of that part. It could be as simple as everyone doing the gladiator/arena stuff and those that survive (us) would be dropped off/released onto the planet for stage two of the "event". And for how [member="Cathul Thuku"] would end up being with us... she could be found out to be trying to help us and has her employment terminated and gets left on the planet with us.

I do like the Bloody Bastards.... but I also like the Endless Waltz Company.....

Worst comes to worst we could call ourselves the "Care Bear Scare Company/Crew"

Okay, so I'm going to sound very negative or like a party pooper but why would we be doing both? Why would we go from gladiator fights to the hunger games? Seems like repeating themes. Now the idea that the purgatory is a prison vessel designed to bring participants to this planet to be thurst into these "games" as a way to test their special new chemical enhancers seems far more practical, than having us kill and maim each other only to have us kill and maim each other.

We can obviously name the thing what the group decides but I honestly could not see myself saying "'ello Love, I'm Joran Del-Finn of the endless waltz company."

I don't think that would get me very far.

I wouldn't say you're either of those things. If anything I'd say you're being realistic and bringing up some legitimate flaws/issues in the overall story/plot.

Things like that happen when you get a bunch of people together and start combining all the ideas together. Certain ideas might not make a whole lot of sense when paired with other ideas and end up being a bit convoluted. This is exactly the time and thread to get everything ironed out. ;)

-edit- I was just sort of brainstorming and throwing out ideas based off of what we had listed for the story anyway haha. I for one am fine with just starting on the ship and getting dropped off onto the planet where everything officially starts. :)

My entire purpose in this life is try and make things simple and your right to say this is the place to hatch ideas, only I don't so much hatch as trim lol. Because as you've noticed I've done little in the way of actual suggestions, only looked at other people's ideas and twisted them to my own liking.

Basically I'm saying I'm Thomas Eddison. Just please don't think of me as quite the monster he was.
