I seriously doubt it. Celestials are a super-advanced that disappeared from the galaxy before the start of early civilization (for the humans and other currently existing species). Also EU is considered non-cannon by disney, so I doubt they'll be bringing those into canon unless they make up their own variation of them.

Well, SWTOR is its own canon. I'm not sure this new expansion to SWTOR is part of the new Disney canon.
So, I believe it could very well be the celestials.
Still, it'll be exciting to learn more about this faction!

I think it is rather cool myself. It has been the same type of story that has been used at least three or four times in SWTOR before.

Those didn't get as far as this one, but it is basically the same concept with different people.

Now I want to see how they work in how your character got frozen in carbonite.

The only way the Force-Using characters could've been beaten to enough of a pulp to let themselves be frozen is if they were seriously drunk.
