I understand what everyone is saying, so as a way to appease everyone, how about these ?

initiate, allyan witch, mentor
initiate, nightsister, arch witch

the other titles just seem a bit long, these are shorter and seem more alignment appropriate.

they can be altered, it's just a suggestion

Uhh.... the KNight level titles are general terms and Arch Witch is literally a gift, same as Shaman or Seer.

Okay, if you want separate titles:

Allyan Witches: Initiate | Spellweaver | Mentor

Nightsister: Initiate | Warrior | Shadow Killer

^ straight out of wookieepedia. This way, we also manage to keep them gender neutral for any possible male characters. As per wooki, Warrior and Shadow Killer may be specializations but thy're also ranks of Nightsisters.

'tis all the same to me. I will say that 'Mentor' would indicate that the Witch in question ought to be a constant source of lessons and instruction for younger members, though.

Pretty much, yes. Knight ranked Witches can of course train but they too have lots to learn still. Where as a Mastered ranked Witch, while can always learn more, is a teacher in its definition.

Okay, guys! I've just had a talk with Teferi and this is what we've come up with. The ranks will be as followed:

Initiate | Spellweaver | Elder

The same both both lightsiders and darksiders. Now if we do get characters that declare themselves neutral in the future, they're welcome to use these or the neutral ranks. We will also be getting a faction tag, like OP, Republic and Sith have.

Yes, I know some of you would like to have Nightsister ones but we both went looking again and came up with nothing reasonable for the setting. The ones I put up were the specialized roles/ranks that are sadly too general.

What do you with your alignment? Put it in your custom title like Taleen, TiCira and myself have done. Anything goes there, if you wanna specify being a Nightsister/Allyan Wich/specialized title (we're work on those in a bit). Or above your signature banner or make/request a banner where it says your alignment.

The ranks should be up by tomorrow night. Woot ^_^

It's not the wrong answer. It's an education. I went through it myself! No lol, noes here, you always get the hear why. And if the why isn't good enough, you can poke us for a better explanation!
