FNRP#1 - Vacation From Hell (Open to All!)

Every sound the cruiser liner made was heard in this little hall where they all stood staring at one another. No one had said anything about a direction, so..."A ship you say so that means going to the hangar deck right....let's go."

Arianna was not unaccustomed to making decisions sweeping back her hair with one hand she tied it back to keep it from her face. There were voices around them making their way to whatever was their destination to get off the ship. Nar Shaddaa couldn't be too bad..right? Of course it would be bad.

She looked back at her too companions who were at a loss of words it seemed. "I'm not staying..." She kept walking..

Myles listened to the words of the Chagrian and nodded.

"Well then, prolly best we move forward then"

He maneuvered himself forward at a slow, but steady pace. Myles crunched his body up, making him a smaller target to hit. Approaching the edge of the hallway intersection, he looked at the hallway opposite to him.....

Nothing....no one moving, no doors open. The scene looked eerie and unwelcoming. Looking around the corner of the hallway behind him he could see a door had been broken down, came off its hinges, like a powerful beast or being broke out.

I guess they wanted out really bad.

Myles gave a hand signal to the others indicating that the coast was clear for the time being.

As she got more familiar with the hallway she was thrusted into, she became more and more confused by the situation she found herself in. Her rescuer knocked out the guards she disarmed, but then began going fire crazy again. All the Dark powers surging through the hallway told Lynn one thing; She was surrounded by Dark Siders. Which was proving ironic since she recently left the Silver Jedi to escape that atmosphere. Whats more was ironic was she was trained to fight Dark Siders and yet in this situation she was finding she was being forced to work with them. Fate was a weird thing with her.

As the fighting came to a close, a plan began to form. She did notice it was cut off as @Dax Frye tried to kill [member="Lark"]. Lynn shot a web at his back to try and stop him, but [member="Matthew Justice"] seemed to have that covered so she cut her line. As plans were being formed she piped in with her small, but cheerful voice. "This is a good plan, but maybe I am better suited to use the duct system and find the control area. Maybe then I can find out who is in charge. Plus my lightsaber is missing and I am not very inclined with the Force so I hate to slow you nice strong men down." She figured flattery would make her seem innocent and weak and not a worth killing. She beamed at them and hoped one of them wasn't a dark sider and they would join Lynn in her little hunt. Plus her lightsaber was Mace Windu's old lightsaber and she didn't want to risk someone getting it and stealing it.

Yuroic looked around at the commotion and just shook his head, it seemed that the situation was tense at best. He grabbed his rifle and headed down the northern end. He took a good cover position and closed his eyes, he calmed his thoughts as his mind raced to what the kark was happening around here. This was a big operation for slavers, he was curious to see who was in charge of this, was it perhaps one of the gangs he knew from back home? Need to figure out the end game here, what if the slavers have place boobytraps on the engines. Just waiting to explode them.

Yuroic checked his ammo, it wasn't full but he had enough for a small fight right now, if he ran out then he could always just bash people with the thing wildly. He checked to see where all the others were and what they were doing before he relaxed fully in his cover position. If there was going to be infighting perhaps he would get involved, depended on who. Be stupid to try and stop two significantly more powerful beings than himself from fighting.

Dria Kor waited for Myles to give him the all clear, when he does he walks up right behind him stops then asks.

"How rude of me my name is Dria Kor" then with a short pause he adds "so which way are we going? forward or do we turn around and go in the opposite"
He then lets his head fall a little bit obviously focusing on something.
"If i have time to meditate i might be able to find where the largest group of people are, and as we know, the largest group of people would be at the Bridge", He pauses again to think, "however, that would take time and i don't know if we want to stay here much longer."

He stands there meditating, thinking, and not telling the others about what he really wants to find.

Vaezan followed alongside Myles and Dria Kor, and spoke to them briefly. "Forward, of course.." Vaezan said, responding to the Kel'Dor.

He then paused,
"This was a trap; A great ruse.. to what ends I do not know. I do know that the ship is...disturbingly quiet.. We need to move quickly and find an elevator to the bridge."

Vaezan strode past Myles, and the one known as Dria Kor. Motioning them to follow him through the door that they had emerged from leading to an intersecting hallway; Vaezan looked left, then right, and motioned for them to follow his lead. "This is the correct path..."

Vaezan lead them down the hallway past the door that bad been taken clean off its hinges.. it was eerie and quiet, seemingly abandoned... a sudden clatter came from up ahead... movement.. someone or something was headed there way.. Vaezan stood still and looked back at the others and said in a low voice, "It appears we aren't alone...and whatever is coming towards us is just around the corner..."

Choosing to follow [member="Alkor Centaris"], Aster took the North path. Although she knew little about the man, he had demonstrated his skill when he had dealt with the guards that had been on their tail making him seem like the better option of the two. Plus, it certainly did not help that she felt like she owed the man a favour she was determined to repay after he had prevented her capture by the guards.

Tightening her grip on her blaster as she followed the group, Aster shot a quick glance at [member="Dax Fyre"]. Not knowing the circumstances that had led to his outburst which resulted in him lunging at [member="Lark"], she was wary of the young man. Though his appearance did not make him look like a bad person, her first impression of him was not a good one.

No.

She shook her head. Now was not the time to be judging others. She had to escape. She had to return home - she had duties to fulfil.

"Uncle..." Aster muttered as she thought of home.

Dax shook [member="Matthew Justice"] off of him and turned in the other direction, headining north, as [member="Alkor Centaris"] and [member="Darkul Elahad"] began to fend off the incoming guards. Dax nuttered darkly as he passed them, something about how wookies weren't the only ones capable of ripping people's limbs off. As the Rogue attracted fire he ducked and dodged beneath the heated bolts, occassionally firing back, quickly dispatching some. Another Force blast knocked down a couple more guards, and Dax reached out and grabbed another guard by his neck. A glowing blue smoke began to pour from the man's eyes and mouth, life force flowing from him into Dax's hand and pooling into a ball. As the ball faded, Dax breathed in deeply. Oh that felt good. The guards body fell with a lifeless thud.

Yuroic watched as the powerful Force Users went into action, slaughtering any slavers that dared cross their paths. He saw a young girl following the action and approached her, careful not to get them into any danger. Makes me feel a bit useless standing here with a blaster while they can snuff the life out of someone without even touching them... Yuroic looked briefly at [member="Aster Rose Baelor"] before watching ahead and shooting at some of the slavers fortunate to not face the Force Users.

His aim wasn't the most accurate but at this range he as able to shoot the body or the head if he was especially lucky. He followed the Force Users down the corridor, being careful to not even fire near them as he shot several more slavers with his weapon before running out of ammo. He gripped the weapon and raced up to one slaver bashing it across his face, watching the man crumple into a pile on the floor gave Yuroic a small grin of satisification before he focused on the next slaver who was shooting at him.

He would look at Dax in disgust but shook his head, it was helping them get out of there so he followed his lead and started to take out guards clearing a way down the hall. The horde fell upon them but they kept clearing the path further and further to the north with bodies lay scattered behind them. The group fought together as best as possible in their confused and outright shaken state.

He glanced around at the people around him every so often trying to make sure no one fought one another. He wanted them and needed them to work together so they all could make it out alive. He didn't want anyone to die from whoever this person who masterminded this cruel intentions where. But he did want some payback with the person who set this up.

Burning eyes flipped open, a sixth sense waking him from his dream. Most would be shook, or unable to function from the things his mind conjured. This wasn't the case for him. A deadpan expression and expressionless eyes stared back as he rose, hands gripping the bed frame, gaze riveted on the mirror. Taking himself in like he always did, no thoughts were exchanged, just examination. The scars that lined his body told a sad story, the ones that were internal more difficult to understand.

Rising slowly, he stood, having no idea of what was going on outside his cabin doors, as the mental battle was more engaging and important. Pulling a black shirt over his head he bent down over the sink, pulling the faucet, water soon making its debut with the drain. Splashing the brisk liquid onto his face, he sighed, a soft, pained noise. With the water off, he moved to slip into his pants and black combat boots, wanting to go for a walk to look out at the stars.

Only to open the door and have a armed man come barreling towards him. Expecting the man to stop, he stood there, blank expression and slow blinks quickly changing to frustration as a force baton came swinging at his skull. Putting up his arm, he countered the strike, his clenched fist coming forward with all of his weight, plus some as internally, the battle he was fighting faltered, some of the emotions surging outward.

The result was a broken sternum and being sent flying into the wall opposite him. Unintentionally of course, as much as it bored him, he didn't mean to kill the man. Grunting in a 'oh well' type of way, he looked down the hallway. More guards could be heard, a commotion he frankly didn't feel like waking up to.

Dammit.

Sighing again, he moved towards the sounds, curiosity getting the better of him.

He whipped around the corner with his blaster pistol at the ready, Myles examined the door that had exploded from its frame. Something or someone tackled into it. Hard.

BZZH BZZH BZZH

Blaster fire could be heard further down the corridor, which turned into an L shape. Looking back at the others he confirmed that action could be heard that way.

Approaching the corner of the hall he heard a loud THUD! coming from the other side, he slightly stuck his head out looking at what the results were. A dead body lay on the ground, the figure was wearing a uniform. More than likely it was a guard aboard this vessel.

The attacker was at the very end of the hallway at the stairway advancing to a different level.

Friend or foe, wouldn't wanna risk spookin' them

The hallways by the upper north First class suites were silent. William and clara walked down the hallway at a steady pace to the dining hall, oblivious to the chaos breaking out around the ship.

"Will, you look nice in uniform, especially your formal uniform."

"You look beautiful as well, I love you and I've missed you while I was gone and out on the front. It's been so ha-"

A blaster bolt flew down the hallway and William pushed his wife and dived out of the way.

"Will, what just happened?"

Admiral Harris put his finger over his mouth and pulled his blaster pistol from his holster on his thigh. He peaked up and seen a group of individuals running past the intersection, more blaster bolts flew down the hallway, a group of armed thugs charged down the hallway to what the thought was their friends, quickly Harris poked his head up and shot the three.

"What is happening?"

"I don't know clara, but this whole damn trip just went to hell and it hasn't been that long. Take this," William pulled a blaster from his left holster and handed it to her. "Stay close to me."

Quickly an idea flew into Clara's head, "Will, the bridge, if we can make it there, we can be safe."

"We are close enough, let's just hope we are the first."

The couple began running down the hallway, following the signs to the ships' bridge. They sprinted around a corner and spotted a man, they drew their pistols and slowly walked towords him slowly, he didn't see them at theend of the L-shaped hallway, the had decended into the ship and didn't know what to expect.

"Looks like this hallway is clear and we can move up!" The man off the distance yelled to someone out if view and began to walk away.

"Stop!" Harris held the gun at ready.

The man turned around to face them as another being came into view.

"We are friends, who are you?"

The two approached slightly and still kept cover between them, blasters still drawn and ready to open fire at a moments notice.

Ra had remained silent as the others talked and moved on, following behind them keeping watch. She may not have a gun, but her eyes and senses would do. Nothing came up behind, but in front there was a commotion.

"I got our rear ends covered. You guys go on and I'll watch from here. Once you reach the stairs, I'll catch up."

There were a few other doors and at the intersection they stood was a stronger door than the others they had passed.

She reached out with the Force and popped the lock carefully. What she had hoped to be their weapons, she found a cleaning closest instead.

"Ah feth."

Kicking the door shut, she turned to see if the others had advanced or waited to see what was behind the door.

Feth

Myles kept his blaster pistol at the ready, this could be a trap. Or they could be potential allies.

"If you are trying to reach the bridge or get off this ship, then we are friends as well. If you are with the guards, then you are an obstacle"

He hated being that abrasive sometimes but in certain situations it was needed. The man addressing them had a woman with him. Surely they are wanting off as well?
Assumptions could lead to a life or death situation he learned. Best to see who they were before taking dire actions.

Myles didn't divert his attention away from the mysterious couple down the hallway. They were outnumbered but who's to say they won't be flanked? Ah, the Forcies would tell us if trouble was here.
He was about halfway down the hallway from where they originally were. @Ra'a'mah had stayed behind to cover their six while the others advanced.

"Well hello there. Erinhart said to the couple, telling [member="Myles Davorak"] to let him deal with the talking under his breath, " My name is Erinhart, and, as my trained here, said, we are making our way to the bridge. We want off this blasted ship. Now, might I ask, who are you?"

Erinhart spoke calmly, but firmly, and nearly turned to election debate mode. If this couple got spooked, issues may arise, and it would be better to keep them calm. Besides, at least one of them New how to negotiate, as the man seemed to be an officer of some sort.

"Please, do not be afraid." He said, stepping calmly forwards, to block Myles.

Dria Kor did not say anything while the others talked, he was sensing the emotions of the Fleet Admiral.

He felt his terror and his panic, he could feel his link to the other human next to him, He could feel the urgency that they were trying to get some where.

Responding to Myles Guessing that they where going to the Bridge, "they do not want to harm us, or block our way, they are as scared as we are and i do think that they are heading where we want to go." He says as he calmly walks up beside Myles.

still looking at the two strangers down the hall through his protective eye coverings, he stands there not moving but thinking.

Ra watched as the group moved on. When they had cleared the hallway and moved onto the next area, nothing came up from behind them and she too advanced to rejoin the group. When she did, Ra made note of two more people, one another woman.

Noticing the weapon held by the man, she looked between it, him and her companions. Had he found where their weapons were being kept or did he mean harm? If it was harm, then they would win. Keeping a strong hold on bat she carried, she treated them with caution until their desire showed.

There was a guide on the wall and Ra moved to point it out to them, but watched the uniformed man out of the corner of her eye the whole time.

"It looks like we are on level three."

There was an X to show where they were standing and directions to the elevator, stairs, recrooms and other amenities offered by the cruise liner. Using a finger on the map, she found which hallway lead to the stairs and pointed down it.

"We need to go that way. Bridge isn't on this deck."

Vaezan dipped his head to the newcomers, and looked to Ra as she pointed out where they needed to go.

Vaezan and his son Vashjyr flanked Ra as they each extended a hand, "After you." Vaezan said passively, his piercing yellow eyes looking down the hallway the woman directed them to, he paused briefly and said with confidence "Hopefully we will find the answers we seek soon enough..."

Vaezan looked to his son Vashjyr and rested a reassuring hand on his shoulder, and thought to himself... 'At least if we come across any threats I have faith that our combined abilities, and those of our new...friends.. will see us through any potential danger.'

As a precaution Vaezan kept his right hand close to his side..ready to whip out his lightsaber at a moment's notice.

Lark slowly pushed forwards through the southern corridor, fighting off wave after wave of guards. The fact that these captors were capable of pulling off the feat of capturing several powerful Force users and other powerful figures was admittedly impressive, Lark granted them that single triumph. But they forgot to write what happens next, when their prisoners inevitably escape and seek vengeance. The slaughter was their punishment, all of them would either end up dead or enslaved. And how many guards there were! How they were able to cram so many on-board while remaining unnoticed was incredible, a feat worthy of the most prized special operation forces.

If only their combat skills were up to par. Lark plowed through them like a tank plowed through common foot soldiers, like bullets plowed through clothing. Lark swung his sword in an upwards arc, deflecting blaster fire and shattering a light above him. Not wise in retrospect, his sword did not have the signature glow of a lightsaber and the guards might have night vision. But there were plenty of other light sources, so the negative effects were null. He killed some, wounded others, and continued to carve his way towards the meeting point.
