REALLY Hates Talking
Myvette 'stared' longingly at the gaping expanse she crossed, the wind carrying Jax's teachings into her ears. She could hear the crumbling of pebbles having plummeted to the bottom of the cliff, see the rocks be lost in the foggy void and it conjured an alarming reality in her mind. Jax spoke on how many before her failed their first attempt at a jump and at first it brought pride and relief to Myvette and it still did. But now there was a darker undercurrent a murkier reality.
She could have fallen.
She could have broken her arms, broken her legs, broken her arms AND her legs. But she didn't, she made the jump and now she was here. She'd overcome herself and let go of her fear. And that was the lesson she now realized. People fear what they cannot control and in this case that was her own power and now that Myvette's stopped trying to control the Force and channel it, work with it, she's managed to avoid breaking her legs. The traps are the same as they always have been, defeating an opponent before they even draw their weapon is the surest form of victory there is and that is precisely what fear aims to do. Turn the blade in one's hand upon themselves.
"I'm so lucky to have you." Myvette's appreciation could be felt warming the air around her. "If I fall or get hurt or just need guidance I can turn to you. But..." Myvette turned toward her master as she sprung back onto her feet and lifted her chin to meet his eye level.
Through her use of Force vision she could see Jax's pristine ocean blue hue which had flowed smoothly like water when she first met him now had intervals of jagged spiked spasms. There was clearly something disturbing the waters or more precisely there was something disturbing him and whatever that might be he's elected not to share with her.
"When YOU need help and YOU need guidance, who do you turn to? You're like a man with a broken leg who's too stubborn to go to the hospital because he thinks he can 'walk it off.' But also like you, keeping that injury and trying to fix it on his own is just making it worse. You have to tell me or SOMEONE what's going on."
Myvette straightened her black mask. "And not to be rude but stick to the truth, and don't try to brush me off like before either. I don't need eyes to see there's something on your mind." She truly wasn't trying to be pushy but Jax just didn't seem like the type to be this jaded over something, hell he just got finished telling Myvette to stop being so damned paranoid!
