For Me, It Was Tuesday - SJO Dominion of the Gyndine Hex

Location: Latria Tower
Objective: Curious Case

De-aging. It was something people looked for, they wanted to forever be young, but when you couldn’t stop it…what do you do then?

Hyonu stood in front of the room where the patients had been quarantined. His eyes squinted through his glasses as he read each file on every patient. Over and over again the same symptoms cropped up. He waved the papers around in frustration. The man had never faced anything like this before and it was only going to start infecting more if he didn’t figure it out. At least now it seemed to have slowed down since they were quarantined.

Glasses removed, and he signed heavily, the papers found their way under his arm as he looked at his open hands. There was something missing and he needed to fetch the something missing right away. Hyonu began to wander the hallways looking for a place to get some tea, it helped him think and he needed to think. Another thing that was missing was his apprentice - [member="Rachel Taff"].

Stopping in his tracks he looked around with a raised eyebrow. Usually when things were this quiet someone else was usually lurking around too. A hand covered his face as he looked down the hallway wondering if she was going to show up. [member="Ciana Teigra"] seemed to always find herself in these situations with Hyonu – this case didn’t seem any different. A small whine in the back of his throat and he hoped that Rachel was showing up soon with his tea.

Objective: Curious Case

Jane Doe.

Jane Doe.

It wasn't her real name, she knew that. But, the problem was that she didn't know what her real name was. This name, Jane Doe, was one that was assigned to people like her... without a confirmed identity. It was an odd feeling to live with, she was a girl without a real name or a real identity. However, she felt optimistic that she'd find it... someday.

How did she end up here? Well, she did remember that.

She had spent over a year situated at a peaceful temple on Monastery. The monks there gave her food, clothing, and shelter. In return, she worked in the fields, cooked in the kitchen, and helped with daily chores. It had all been part of her recovery. After all, she'd lived through a terrible nightmare, so they told her. They'd also said that maybe it was a bit of mercy that she had lost her memories.

The girl known as Jane wasn't sure if that was true, she wasn't quite sure about anything anymore. But, she smiled, even after everything she'd been through.

From Monastery, she traveled with a galactic aide organization in order to keep doing good. She liked to help, she liked to feel that she was making a small difference in a dark galaxy. Even if she never fully recovered from her own ordeal, perhaps she could still find a way to help others. Today was no different, she was here to help.

In the cafeteria, she mulled over the list that had been provided to her by the doctors. She was to collect the meals and wheel them up to the quarantine area. She could do this.

When [member="Elizabeth Skywalker"] asked what was going on Syd turned to the teenager.

"This building is under the influence of an ancient Time Magic Formula known as the Kolda-Bratha Calculus. This building with all the symbols covering it? That's the Calculus. I need to get inside the building to see what has been affected. And...I need paint...

Syd spotted a bucket of it and ran to it. It was part of a nearby construction site that had been evacuated with the rest of the once bustling street.

She knealt down, holding her hand over it and chanting something too arcane to write down, and the paint started to bubble.

She existed because of the Calculus. Any trace of her magic likely contained some connection to it. The Chiss in the meantime had run off to gather more Jedi. Some had already gathered.

She quickly ran over to Skywalker again.

"I need you to take a finger, all of you, and do this..." Syd instructed, and dipped a chrome, gold covered finger into the bubbling bucket and began writing a strange set of symbols and pentacles on her arm and face

"Ideally this should provide some protection from the more severe effects of the Calculus, but the moment we enter the building the protection will start to break down. We have to find whatever magical focal points are keeping its effects active and very carefully destroy them."

"Could these help the infected?" one of the Jedi asked.

"It might buy them more time. But the more I know about what happened in there and just exactly what this small fragment affects exactly beyond aging and de-aging."

One Jedi ran off, came back with a bucket of paint from a nearby house to have Syd enchant, and once she had done so, he ran off again to deliver the news to [member="Hyonu Ye"] about Syd's stall for time and apply the protective enchantment.

"If anyone wants out nows the time. The Calculus is no joke. You screw around with it's magic, or are incautious, you 'will' die." Syd warned. "Who wants out? You go in, you don't do anything without warning someone first."

[member="Syd Celsius"]

She was looking at her as she spoke and.... had no idea what she was talking about. Being from the island might do that and this seemed to be something more before she was speaking. "I am not entirely certain what you are talking aboiut but if there is help needed then I am there to try and lend some aid. just point me to where we need to go and lets get at it." She said it with a bow of her head while she was prepared for anything that might be there. Hands at the ready, interest in the area around herself and force senses on edge to better see it. Elizabeth though was moving and looking to try and sense what she was talking about in the force.

There was a long pause before he spoke again, flipping through the contents of her wallet. Despite the mask, it was easy to tell that he was quite relaxed, used to dealing with mouthy prisoners. Besides, there was no entertainment for him if the Corellian cracked within the first few minutes of questioning.

"That's a cute story, but you see those weren't mere diplomats, and you're no mere pilot. If you were serious about diplomacy, then the Silver Order wouldn't have sent [member="Maki Dominus"] of all people."

A prodigal son had been returned to the fold.

"The Silver Order also wouldn't have sent an infamous Mechu-Deru practitioner, capable of bringing down our entire defense grid from within. Now, you can keep telling me more tales, but that doesn't get you a bump in the thermostat, edible food, or...matching socks. How your stay at Sethlan unfolds is completely in your hands, Commander. "

((As soon as you guys land and begin your raid, then I'll toss out some NPC opposition.))

Confronting Darth Sorkis

Ambiance for the rest of the duel between Maki and Sorkis

Maki and Sorkis would go blow for blow swinging at each other with their lightsabers, both blocking each others attack. Both relentless with their attacks. Maki steps back then back flips onto a nearby balcony as Sorkis persues him. Maki heads back into the building. Sorkis follows him inside but quickly ducks an attack aimed at his head from Maki. Sorkis swings his lightsaber at the gap in Maki's armor cutting him. Sorkis then uses the force and kicks Maki in his wound sending him flying. Maki crashes through a wall and lands in his back as rubble from the wall lands on him. Sorkis steps through the hole but then is blasted back through the hole and creates a new hole across the hall and Sorkis fell to street level, all from Maki doing a force repulse. Maki stepped through the hole and then looked out the other hole seeing Sorkis lying on his back.

Maki jumps out the hole and down to Sorkis, but Sorkis catches Maki with a blast of lightning and uses it to throw Maki to the side. Maki impacts the ground hard and rolls across the ground. Maki's lightsaber rolls out of his hand and skips across the ground. Maki gets on his knees to get a knee to his masked face. Maki falls onto the ground, his vision beginning to blur. Maki looks out at the city watching Jedi fight Sith and Imperial troops. Maki then turns his head back to Sorkis. Sorkis stomps his boot on Maki's chest and holds it there. Do you realize how big of a pain in the a-- you've become for me, you've really stepped on my last nerve, and I'm going to enjoy killing you. Sorkis raises his lightsaber to give Maki the killing blow. Maki uses the force to call his lightsaber to him and activates it and blocks Sorkis's saber.

He took his time to answer her and Allyson shift in her seat – doing her best not to shiver from the cold. Instinctively she tried to warm herself with the Force and was reminded that she was cut off. The reminder hurt, and she cursed herself for making that her first instinct. The Corellian had adapted decently to her new found ‘awakening’, but it was short lived with the collar.

The Warden saw through her little story, but Allyson stuck to it. It was a narrative that covered the truth for their being here. Arms folded in front of her chest and tightened, she tried to warm herself up and ignore the minor chest pains she was starting to have from being in the uncomfortable temperature for the length of time she had been. She rolled her neck and then finally answered, trying to not focus on the wallet that he was dangerously flipping through.

“Ah Maki. That’s what his name was. I remember now. Oh, he’s not too bad – he’s a great diplomat.” Allyson continued to smile as her eyes became locked onto the wallet. There wasn’t much in there, a few credits and cards, along with some identification. The deeper he dug he would find the couple of pictures she had hid deep inside the folds, important pictures.

Her attention was pulled when he mentioned her talents as a Mechu-Deru specialist. She was highly interested how he was getting all this information. When she had arrived on Bastion – the Dark Lord didn’t have much information – just made threats to people she knew wanting to break her. This Sith was different and she raised an eyebrow at his comments – he had her attention.

[SIZE=10pt]“My reputation seems to precede me then. I’m sure my stay with you will be short, but that’s a whole other tale of mine. What I’m curious – you seem to know a lot about me. Does the Empire have a lovely little folder with my name written rather adorably on it?” The slightly faded smile from before brightened again. She didn’t want him to dig any further into her wallet, but she wasn’t ready to make a move – she was worn out from the last few days and her stomach protested when he mentioned edible food.[/SIZE]

Drystan nodded toward [member="Amari Deechi"], in answer to his question.

"Yes... She's a good agent, capable. I'm certain she's alive.. and that she'd be happy to meet you as well."

[member="Yuroic Xeraic"]'s orders had been comprehended, but the blonde woman hadn't said much in response. Though they'd fought beside one-another, they hadn't had much time to speak outside of this. As far as she was concerned, she had her mission... and extracting her fellow Shadow was more important than who was giving directions.

She understood the need for discretion, and for protecting lives... which was why she had opted for a smaller load-out of personal weapons. She'd rely on the chaos brought on by the bombings to move into the prison, staying with her team, and running interference should they come under fire. Innocents were one thing... but sudden combatants were another, entirely.

Objective: A (Rescue Allyson from Grumpy Pants.)
Location: Dropship
Allies: [member="Drystan Marakos"] | [member="Amari Deechi"] | [member="Allyson Locke"] | [member="Tanaski Yumi"] | [member="Varindar Asyt"]

The dropships fell towards the planet at speed, burning through the atmosphere as Yuroic checked the time. The timing of the ion bombs had to be perfect, too early and there was a chance the Imperials could get the comms back on, too late and well, Yuroic wasn't planning on them being late is all he could think. As soon as the time came, Yuroic signalled the bombers to go. A squad of Yutan Fighter bombers moved into place, releasing their payloads onto the comms and other important areas. It crippled the prison and while it brought the guards and such to the attention of Silver Jedi being in the vicinity, there was no way they could get support to combat the trained forces that Yuroic was about to bring with him.

His dropship was the first to land, he leaped out of the ship and his eyes scanned the area. He knew his mission was getting to Allyson Locke, he brought her some seasonal socks that he got at a recent fair. Also, if they failed to rescue her, she'd never forgive him and Mastsr Jyoti would personally make him miserable. Drawing his bow, he fired several arrows at guards nearby, incapacitating them as he gestured for the squad of soldiers with him to get into formation. Looking around, he saw the other dropships coming in for landing. Taking to the senior soldier near him, Yuroic spoke in a calm voice. "Secure the extraction point. We don't need this overrun on our way back. Understood?" The soldier nodded their head as they gestured for the others to take defensive positions. Yuroic took a deep breath and moved silently forward.

His eyes focussed as he scanned the hallways. He had to find out where Allyson was being kept, the other prisoners needed to be found as well. There was another Jedi called Maki that had been on mission with Allyson. Randomly exploring the prison would waste too much time. He needed to hack into a system and get the data, he would send the locations of the other prisoners to the others if he could. Searching, Yuroic found a computer, his hacking skills were not the best in the Order but they were decent enough. Yuroic accessed the system and searched for the information, finding the location of the other prisoners. He transmitted the data to others that had joined him on the mission and then look for the specific location of Allyson. Interrogation. Some Sith Lord. "Hmmm. Trouble seems to have found this one. Hope they are ready for Allyson cause she won't be broken."

Yuroic had discovered a number of things about the woman over the recent months and he knew that she was tougher than she looked. He started moving in on Allyson's position.

Objective: D - Curious Case
Location: Patient Area

The longer she stuck with the Silver Circle, the stranger the cases became.

Last time it was saving a sickly premier from certain death from poisoning (and an attempted bombing!).

This time it was people found suffering from rapid aging...and reversal.

She wouldn't believe it until she saw it, but upon arrival to the quarantine area, she was immediately transfixed on the Latria Tower. In the Force, it existed as a great disturbance, warping the fabric of space-time. After a while, the phenomena made her nauseous and she had to look away. Then she raised her wrist, looking down at the optical watch. As far as she could tell, she was well outside the immediate vicinity of the distortion field, but was still close enough to make the digital display go erratic as the underlying photonic sensors malfunctioned.

The wrong department may have been called in for this job.

Eventually, she made her way to the triage where the patients were being held. Though not before being subjected to a lengthy contamination process - only effective as a feel-good measure for ignorant bureaucrats as it concerned the Force.

A turn around the corner and she came around to Mr. Science Man himself. With that skittish expression stuck to his face, it appeared like he was on the lookout for something. Just what could that something be?

She had a pretty good idea.

Ciana smiled as she came near.

"Doctor Ye...we meet again. I just made planetfall about twenty minutes ago. Have you seen the patients yet?"

((After the patients are stabilized, I'm going to transition to the 1408 objective and enter the building with Syd and Elizabeth.))

Tarion Fenn

"So, why are you here?"

"To lease a section of this facility."

"You don't say. I thought you were in the station's leasing office for comlink tech support."

Had it been Audren saying it, the comment would have been amusement. With this bureaucrat though, it was an expression of pure annoyance. He was clearly too important to have his time wasted, despite being given a perfectly legitimate answer to the question he'd asked. Tarion held himself upright, not replying with sarcasm as others might have. He wasn't cowed, but neither did his posture stiffen like someone responding to an insult or becoming angry.

"Specifically, the space listed as RH573 in the directory."

"Commercial property, tier three location. What business will use this space and for what purposes?"

"TransGalMeg Industries, Incorporated. The location will be used as a storefront and representation office along with minor research and repair facilities, with a specialty towards vehicles and interstellar craft."

The station's representative glanced up from his screen at that. The gaze was not curious but cautious, someone who'd heard the story before and seen the wrong end of it.

"You're aware of the penalties for corporate espionage? The laws are stricter here."

"We are aware. The location is advantageous."

"So they say. Minimum lease agreement is six months, thirty-seven percent down payment required. Lease renewals can be requested but station management can decline. If the company is caught breaking station law you will be evicted and prosecuted, all paid money will be forfeit. Full terms are in the lease contract."

The human understood the reasoning behind the glance and warning. Kuat Drive Yards also had a presence on this station, and more than one competitor had tried to steal data and products using this avenue. It didn't help matters that part of KDY's arrangement here was research-centric. More details than that were less reliable: the research could be based around new development or it could be cataloging frequency of stress failures to determine the likelihood of lawsuits occurring and their potential costs. Very few knew.

Tarion's team had known all of this going in and had still decided that it would be a useful location. He filled out the required forms, provided authorizations, and initiated a transfer of funds to an escrow account, release pursuant upon approvals by station management.

"Give us two hours to verify funds and authorizations. I suggest you use the time to coordinate with Traffic Control to bring in your initial materiel, assuming you have any."

Hyonu was deep in thought as he kept his hand over his face. Where was Rachel? She had gone off to do something else? Had she not caught the shuttle he sent for her? The man was in a loop of utter despair until he felt a familiar presence in the back of his mind. A quite cheerful tone of Dr. [member="Ciana Teigra"] chirped behind him as he was trying to deal with several terrible things happening at once. He turned to face the woman with his face showing great surprise seeing her – although he heavily expected her to show up.

They tended to run into each other in such circumstances, which was why he was confused by her smile. Still, social norms created by society stated that you must greet with a smile despite the situation. The world could be burning around them, but they would greet each other with a smile and possibly a hand shake, though the thought of shaking her hand made his stomach flutter about. He assumed such feeling was because he hadn’t had tea and there was a weirdness about the area.

“Yes of course we meet again. You’re a doctor such as myself that has proven herself useful several times over.” Arms folding in front of him as he thought about her just arriving. It seems she didn’t have a moment to settle herself and she came straight to the issue at hand. The corners of his frown twisted upward in a slight smile as he nodded. It seems the did have something they agreed on. “Um. I have seen the patients, it’s quite a curious case, it seems that –“

Before he could finish, the slightly relaxed doctor became stiff again as another showed their face, this time carrying a bucket of paint. Staring at the paint and listening to the explanation, the doctor continued to frown, but accepted the paint. “So, paint on us to protect us. Okay.” The thoughts about seeing if it helped the patients perked his interest. Nodding, the Doctor allowed the paint to be put on him and then took the bucket. Turning to the woman, he held the bucket.

“Paint to protect you apparently? A woman named [member="Syd Celsius"] thinks it might help the patients.” Hyonu looked a bit too amused with the paint. “Do you need help?”

Covered plates and cups had been placed onto her hover-cart, and Lina hooked the loops of a mask over her ears. After giving a nod to the cafeteria worker, she brought the mask itself up to cover her face from nose to chin. She didn't know what was underneath the cloches, but she hoped that the food was nourishing and tasty. Rice porridge, that was a good food for people that were ill, she mused silently as she pushed the cart down the corridor.

Lina's brows suddenly furrowed.

Rice porridge? The thought had come into her mind, but why? Where had she even had such a meal before? The questions continued, momentarily keeping her attention from where it needed to be – pushing the cart of food. Lina pulled the cart to a halt, having nearly rammed into the corner. Starting off again, she saw two figures standing near the patient quarantine area. Close enough to catch the tail end of their conversation, she learned that they were doctors – or at least one of them was.

Approaching [member="Hyonu Ye"] and [member="Ciana Teigra"], she brought the cart to a stop once more. “For the patients,” Lina said with a nod, leaving the cart of food in their care. Her eyes lingered on the man for a moment, there was something familiar about him. But, before she could continue to study his features, she caught sight of the quarantine signs – something about them made her stomach suddenly turn. Her throat ran dry, and her head filled with fog.

She couldn't stay here. Lina turned on a heel and started back down the corridor at a brisk pace.

The ion bombs made a magnificent effect for detonation as Amari caught sight of it while exiting his dropship. The others were close behind, and he watched as [member="Yuroic Xeraic"] quickly dispatched a group of guards. Amari gave a silent command for his squads to follow along as others landing made to secure their landing site. Amari's job was securing the interior. The Jedi may have given the command not to kill if possible, but it wasn't exactly like the UFARB carried nonlethal weapons wholesale.

With the disabling of the prison's heavy weaponry, Amari's group made for the walls. As a group they dispatched their ranger grapples towards the top of a section of wall where the archer had neutralized a group of guards, taking advantage of the open stretch. Once at the top they had a clean view of the yard below, and the entrance into the prison. The two exterior squads broke off, moving down the wall further to take positions for the assault on the prison proper. Silent verpine pistols took out the opposition with little effort, allowing them to quietly spread out further.

"We've got the wall," he said into comms to [member="Drystan Marakos"] and [member="Yuroic Xeraic"] below. "Give the word and we'll provide a distraction for you to get in."

While blocking Sorkis's saber, Maki sneaks up his free hand and punching Sorkis in his leg really hard. Sorkis takes his foot off Maki and steps back and growls in pain. Maki does a backwards summersault and gets to his feet and then swings his saber at Sorkis in a downward thrust, Sorkis attempts to Dodge it but gets a slice on his arm. Sorkis steps back and holds his arm. Sorkis senses Maki's thoughts on a woman, a woman named Allyson, Sorkis could sense Maki felt strongly for this woman, more than Jyoti. Ah, there it is, Allyson, you're pilot that's being tortured as we speak, now that is love I sense I think. I'll enjoy ripping her flesh from her bonesMaki wasn't sure what he felt about Allyson but he was worried about her, and Sorkis's words enthralled Maki. Maki now angry begun focusing on the force for more energy swinging at Sorkis, Sorkis blocks every swing but very weak like. Maki kicked Sorkis in the chest sending Sorkis backwards down the main stairs. Maki leaps into the air and sticks his arms out to his sides and does a front flip over Sorkis and then bolts down with a shock wave blast hitting the ground sending Sorkis off his feet and back up the stairs. Sorkis lands hard on his back on the stairs. Maki stands all the way up and turns around to hear Sorkis growl in pain again. Maki starts towards Sorkis. Sorkis crawls up the stairs and goes back inside the building and hides.

Maki gets to the top of the stairs and walks back into the building. Maki stops and looks around for Sorkis, trying to sense his location, but Sorkis is blocking his presence. Maki begins walking forward then is lifted up and thrown into a pillar and cracks the pillar all from a force blast. Maki lands on his belly, face down in the ground. Maki was trying his hardest to not focus on the pain. Sorkis comes out of hiding and uses the force to fully break the pillar in hopes to drop it on Maki and kill him. Maki moves just as the pillar falls narrowly crushing him. Maki gets back to his feet and the two ran at each other and both begin swinging their lightsabers at each other blocking each others every swing. Maki took a step back then used his right hand to force blast Sorkis, but Sorkis did the same. Both men having their arms out in a battle of will in the force finally causes the power to implode sending both men flying backwards. Maki smacks into a wall, Sorkis crashes into a pillar breaking it. Maki quickly gets up and uses the force to bring the upper level loft down on Sorkis burying him in Rubble. Maki takes a breath thinking Sorkis is dead.

"On The Wings of Dirty Angels" [ part I ]

It was an old Galactic Empire garrison.

Well, in the more recent time, it had probably been used by pirates. Who had apparently not been very picky about where they'd used the bathroom. But the facility built into the crater of the extinct volcano had a large landing field and had been easy enough to transform into a field hospital.

There was some kind of rescue thing going down. He didn't know much, other than that was a thing. So they had a shuttle on hot stand-by in case they had to clear the LZ and book to go provide medical services as part of that team's exfiltration.

There was also the Circle of Healers work going on elsewhere. But apparently that was a mess of people aging rapidly. Including de-aging. And Zak didn't have a lot of years to use. While biologically, he was identical to the real Zak Dymo at age 9 or 10, the reality was that the clone was significantly younger than that. So, he might not have had a lot of years to use. And no one was really sure how aging was going to affect him anyway. So, Zak was told to stay away from that.

So what was he doing? Handing out a lot of balm and seeing a lot of skin rashes that could not be un-seen. Rachuk roseola was a real thing. And still people came to Vladet without the proper immunizations.

Even Zak had gotten the immunization. And he hated shots more than anybody!

Other than that... he wasn't sure.

Zak Dymo, the real Zak Dymo, had been a student of some of the greatest healers that had ever been part of the Silver Jedi. But the clone wasn't Zak Dymo. He looked like him, and he knew more about Force Heal than he ought to have, but he didn't have any of the background or experience that might have given that knowledge meaning.

Why had Zak studied the healing arts? Everyone said that he'd been a Jedi Guardian, not a Jedi Consular.

He tried not to dwell too much on that question. It hurt to think about what he was and who he wasn't. Let alone to contemplate the as-yet-unanswered question of why he'd been found in that Sith cloning facility on Glee Anselm in the first place.

So, he didn't think. He just tuned out his own thoughts and turned up the music. The sounds of synth-pop echoed from around the crater, as the youngling allowed the music to overcome him. His body in motion, his arms and legs moving in time to beat. It was a therapeutic escape of a few minutes in which he could lose himself to song.

...then the music cut out.

A signal was coming through the comlink, temporarily suppressing the music function on the youngling's HoloBoy Advanced.

"This is an Antarian Ranger priority signal. Code White. Code White. Medical emergency. Medical teams report for immediate dispatch."

Drystan was alongside Yuroic as they landed; the damage from the bombing run had been total and spectacular.

While Amari and his team of warriors secured the wall, the two Senior Knights exited the dropship. Together, they entered the complex, secure in their belief that they were protected... but inwardly, Drystan had become increasingly concerned. As Yuroic accessed the computer, identifying some information regarding Allyson's whereabouts, the blonde woman watched him carefully... then, as he began to move down the hallway, she reached out, grabbing him by the shoulder. The motion was not violent or aggressive, but strong and assertive.

"Yuroic, listen. Before we go any further, you have to understand something - we're a team on this mission. You're not calling the shots here... We're either in this together, as a team, or we're doomed before we've begun. You're not the hero here... this isn't some glory mission, and I'm not going to let you walk into this thinking you've got it all under control... because you don't."

"We have no idea what's ahead of us... and I need you beside me, not ahead of me."

Maki hears the rubble move. Maki stands in a defensive position ready for anything. The rubble explodes apart as Sorkis jumps out lightsaber raised up, Sorkis is giving an angered yell as he's charging through the air at Maki. Maki thinking quickly uses the force and lifts up the rubble throwing it at Sorkis catching him mid air sending him flying into a wall. Maki jumps on the opportunity and starts charging Sorkis. Maki let's out slash after slash from his lightsaber on Sorkis, Sorkis doing everything he can to block the attacks. Maki steps back and grabs Sorkis with the force and repeatedly slams Sorkis into the wall. Maki drops Sorkis, then Maki drops his lightsaber and then crawls over Sorkis and then continuously punches Sorkis in the face and head until Sorkis's face is swelled up, bleeding and severely bruised. Maki gets up and uses the force to bring his lightsaber to his hand. Maki Dominus Voice During everything, the imprisonment, the torture, 'sighs' through everything, I haven't said a thing, I just remained 'heavy breathing' silent, listening to your BULLSH--! Now its time you listen to me. Yeah, you're my grandfather, yeah I killed my parents, because I CHOSE TO DO WHAT IS RIGHT AND THEY KILLED MY WIFE! Yes this imperial army was once mine, yes I abandoned it to become a Jedi. I'm happier as a Jedi, I'm doing whats right, you're the reason us Jedi still fight, you're a Sith, as long as you're around, so will we be. But many more Sith will come and go from this day onward. 'heavy breathing' but you will not be one of them, today is the last day you'll ever see daylight. You're going to die today.

Maki turns around to see Sorkis charging him lightsaber raised. Maki ducks the swing putting his own saber through Sorkis's chest. Maki stands up holding his saber in Sorkis's chest getting really close face to face with Sorkis. You have lost, you have fallen, and now your military shall fall.Maki Yanks his saber out of Sorkis's chest and spins around and watched Sorkis fall to his knees. Sorkis wide eye stared at Maki. Maki removed his mask to look at his grandfather unhidden behind a mask. Sorkis then dropped to the floor face down and dies. Maki puts his mask back on, then deactivates his lightsaber and puts it away. Maki kneels down and rolls Sorkis over. Maki closes Sorkis's eyes and takes Sorkis's lightsaber and puts it on his belt. All of the sudden all Maki's pain and exhaustion hits him all at once and Maki becomes overwhelmed. Maki collapses unconscious on the floor next to Sorkis.

Location: Middle of the capital, in a pavilion where the droids and his troops dropped.
Objective: Make way towards government center, meet up with head hunters to provide an escort
Troops: 18/20 Myrmidons
Draven's saber waved back and forth quite visibly on the ground as bombs smashed into earth and blasted craters, one landing a little too close to his thinly spread line of Myrmidons, and was followed by two smaller, yet still ear shattering explosions along with horrendous screaming as the pilots who inhabited those mechs fried. Their ammo going off in its pouch and sending slugs flying everywhere. The Myrmidons were hardened soldiers though, and stuck to the craters which they were dug into, spattering out fire all across the street which the enemy defenses had mobilized on, pinning them down, Draven roared, "We have to get to the governement center, give the head hunters an escort once they finish their job. Keep the doors cleared! Myrmidons withdraw and head up the western street." And like machines given a bit of code, the huge mech suits began to fall back, one at a time, they were paired up you see, one covering the other as he fell back. Finally they slammed out the western street, as the capital defenders came flooding in from the north, swarming over the drop ships and pavilion, the myrmidons and Draven barely escaping, mean while the war droids fell back to the south, taking up in that street.
Draven's heart thumped loudly in his chest as his ears roared, saber vibrating with instability as he searched for the next place, the street they were rushing up was wide, wide enough for five to stand abreast, and the myrmidons were split, ten of them facing the enemy and laying down fire as the weapons clinked off their heavy armor, the other eight with Draven rushing forward. Draven's voice crackled over comms once again, "Myrmidon squad two, stay and cover our movements, hold this street. There is no retreat for you, hold the street or die trying boys, we cannot let the defenders get down this street, or else they will surround the entrance of the government center." Grim affirmatives were muttered over comms, as the soldiers dug in. The eight which were with Draven charged along at incredible speeds, their powerful mech's legs propelling them at top speeds, and Draven let the force flow through him, keeping pace as they raced towards the government center.

Lord Vogt, Prison Warden

[Prison Wing D - Then]

"No, you have the SIS to thank for that," he said as he removed a few pictures from the wallet. "So many moles, endless leaks. One could be mistaken to believe the Sith were running the Galactic Alliance - oh they were."

The rising inflection in his voice was about the closest he'd get to laughter.

"Deluded crusaders. It wasn't until the very end that you realized who was really giving the marching orders."

"Anyway, I suppose we could go back and forth. Me probing and threatening, and you firing back with awful quips, but I don't have time for your 'Corellian Charm'."

He turned to look over at the Interrogator Droid. "You see my friend here. I'm sure you're familiar with it since your 'date' with Carnifex. I'm hoping to use him to speed up the process. What do you think?"

[Prison Exterior - Present]

Most of the prison's systems went down, including its primary comms and guidance for its air defense network. All the stormtroopers and guards caught outside in the immediate vicinity of the prison now only had dead weapons and sensors.

In such a state of disarray, they didn't notice the commandos and Jedi sneaking up on them until it was too late. However, there wasn't much they could do at the moment, except throw things or try to bum rush them.

Some island patrols outside the blast area, having witnessed the ionic blasts, immediately began doubling back on the site of the prison on foot or by airspeeders, yelling on their comms for backup.

Soon they would be on the enemy raiders.

[Prison Airspace - Present]

In orbit, enemy satellites and warships picked up on the blast on their energy receptors. A squadron of TIE Hunters was quickly scrambled and deployed from one carrier. From their starting position in high orbit, it would only take them a few minutes to reach the airspace of the prison.

Even so, the TIE pilots were having trouble picking up on any enemy strike craft on their way down.

This made the squadron commander cautious, making him direct the rest of his squadron to remain a defensive posture by remaining at high altitude in staggered finger four formations until the enemy could be found.
