He'd just arrived, some hours before. Life here was going to be starkly different from the rank, file, and order of the military back home, but the twenty five-year-old Felacatian didn't shy away from new experiences. He followed the mantra of 'try almost anything once, in moderation'... except, of course, this was a whole new way of life. One in which he could surely still apply his knowledge and skills, and still comport himself in the manner to which he had become accustomed, but with more freedom to not do so in appropriate circumstances.
Meeristali Peradun was truly here to become a Jedi, to add to his toolkit of skills, and enhance his existing expertise. But he would be lying if he denied that he was on Ossus, specifically, for other reasons. Or an other reason. Not that it was an insatiable, driving force to his purpose, but being here would help him fulfill the intent of reuniting with the only family member with which he could on any level identify. She had to be around here somewhere, so he had been told. But that wasn't the matter of the moment. Right now, his keen ears were picking up the chatter of other arrivals.
Far be it for him to keep to himself!
"Hey. Hey!" He said, lifting his right arm and giving a big wave to rival the big grin on his face, under which he sported an eternal, seemingly stagnant growth of stubble. For once, there was no requirement to be clean-shaven, and in travelling, some minor things had admittedly taken a back seat. He wasn't wearing the common robes of the Jedi Padawan... he'd tried them on, seeing how they were not constrictive - a familiar feel - but were by no means as crisp as the other pieces of his former uniform. Instead, he wore light-wash denim below, and a simple white t-shirt up top, his tail lightly dancing about as he approached @[member="Vash Hal'Brok"], @[member="Hasjo Hallu"], and @[member="Kira Liadain"]. He looked to Vash, specifically, sorting him out from the rest as the freshest arrival. Green. Slightly greener than he himself was, clearly nervous, so much so that he'd spilled his belongings all over the deck... er, floor. "So, you're the other new guy, huh?"
He glanced at Kira, his grin toning down to a respectable, business-like smile. He gave her a short, wordless tip of his head, his hands on his hips, then turned his attention back to the other blonde, as some free-willed thought process in the back recesses of his mind sorted out which one of the two was cuter... details which he generally did not voice so freely.
