Fresh off the shuttle at Ossus (open to any on Ossus)

Hasjo Hallu marched over to Knight [member="[I][COLOR=rgb(101,155,202)][URL="http://starwarsrp.net/user/796-kira-liadain/"]Kira Liadain[/URL]"][/COLOR][/I], bowing to her in respect. He remained in a rigid stance, hands clasped before him in neutrality. Legs spread in an upside down V. His large, black beady eyes remained unblinking. Not once. His eyes darted to the other padawan before looking back to Knight Liadain for assignment.

Boots, robes, everything Vash had been carrying dropped to the floor as @[member="Kira Liadain"] revealed herself. Sheepishly, Vash bowed.
"Master....Forgive me, you caught me off-guard."
He swore to himself. Not even an hour on Ossus and he had already been lost, directed by a youngling and now he had made a fool of himself in front of his new Master.
He quickly bent down and retrieved his fallen belongings, just as the Padawan approached...
@[member="Hasjo Hallu"]

He'd just arrived, some hours before. Life here was going to be starkly different from the rank, file, and order of the military back home, but the twenty five-year-old Felacatian didn't shy away from new experiences. He followed the mantra of 'try almost anything once, in moderation'... except, of course, this was a whole new way of life. One in which he could surely still apply his knowledge and skills, and still comport himself in the manner to which he had become accustomed, but with more freedom to not do so in appropriate circumstances.

Meeristali Peradun was truly here to become a Jedi, to add to his toolkit of skills, and enhance his existing expertise. But he would be lying if he denied that he was on Ossus, specifically, for other reasons. Or an other reason. Not that it was an insatiable, driving force to his purpose, but being here would help him fulfill the intent of reuniting with the only family member with which he could on any level identify. She had to be around here somewhere, so he had been told. But that wasn't the matter of the moment. Right now, his keen ears were picking up the chatter of other arrivals.

Far be it for him to keep to himself!

"Hey. Hey!" He said, lifting his right arm and giving a big wave to rival the big grin on his face, under which he sported an eternal, seemingly stagnant growth of stubble. For once, there was no requirement to be clean-shaven, and in travelling, some minor things had admittedly taken a back seat. He wasn't wearing the common robes of the Jedi Padawan... he'd tried them on, seeing how they were not constrictive - a familiar feel - but were by no means as crisp as the other pieces of his former uniform. Instead, he wore light-wash denim below, and a simple white t-shirt up top, his tail lightly dancing about as he approached @[member="Vash Hal'Brok"], @[member="Hasjo Hallu"], and @[member="Kira Liadain"]. He looked to Vash, specifically, sorting him out from the rest as the freshest arrival. Green. Slightly greener than he himself was, clearly nervous, so much so that he'd spilled his belongings all over the deck... er, floor. "So, you're the other new guy, huh?"

He glanced at Kira, his grin toning down to a respectable, business-like smile. He gave her a short, wordless tip of his head, his hands on his hips, then turned his attention back to the other blonde, as some free-willed thought process in the back recesses of his mind sorted out which one of the two was cuter... details which he generally did not voice so freely.

Hasjo's eyes darted from the knight to the newcomer. It was barely noticeable such an eye movement as his entire eyeball was pure black, the only thing revealing the movement was the dampness of his eyes as they moved. He almost scoffed, if not for the fact he had learned not too. It was disrespectful. Though this man was poorly dressed and his lack of example to the Jedi code of dress was in of itself, disrespectful. He expected more of padawans. They weren't here to jump through holes, shoot a blaster and be sent off to the front lines. They were here to be examples to the Galaxy. A shining knight per-say. An idealistic hero. Hasjo himself remained in his silent, stiff position of neutrality. Eyes retiring to fall upon the knight before them.

Antares Windu walked through the Ossus Academy. An impressive place after the Battle of Ossus, he wasn't sorry he missed it. He heard it was a pretty bloody battle, and when he stood upon the top of the steps at the Academy he looked to the new arrivals. He was going to have to find them if they weren't at the front.

His black Ossus outer robes covered his body, and he waited.

Moments. Just the visceral air of tiny moments, when beady-eyes looked at him. He could feel those black orbs on the skin of his face. Before he bent down to help @[member="Vash Hal'Brok"] with his things, he flicked @[member="Hasjo Hallu"] a look that said, in no uncertain terms, that he could smell the disdain wafting off the Nautolan from where he stood. But he did not utter a single word to the younger male, and returned his gaze to the deck under his feet, crouching to help Vash with his belongings.

"Here, let me give you a hand with that." He said, picking up a pair of trousers and folding them neatly. "You can't let things sneak up on you like that, man. It won't do you a lick of good jumping at the sight of your own shadow."

He remained crouched down beside Vash, looking again to @[member="Kira Liadain"], but not the Nautolan. It was as-yet undecided how he would handle that stiff. His experience with the galaxy outside his now-former home held limited or nil encounters with a number of species... Nautolans being one of them. His nose told him someone else had come into the vicinity, but what with giving Vash his attention at present, @[member="Antares Windu"] was left unacknowledged by the Felacatian. There would doubtless be time for that, soon enough.

Kira couldn't help but give a wide grin at Vash's reaction, and she too came to a knee to help him pick up his items. "Hey... it's fine. " she flashed him a comforting wink, chuckling a bit as her gaze came up to give a nod to the Nautolan and a warm smile.

"Hello there," she began with a cheerful grin, "What's your name?" she asked @[member="Hasjo Hallu"] and @[member="Meeristali Peradun"].

Antares's dark gaze found the nautolan and a slow gait brought him to the side of the alien. "what does the Jedi Code mean?" He asked, and his head rolled on his neck to look at the jedi aspirant. His answer would determine a few things, Antares hoped they were good things for the padawan.

"Don't think, act." he said and he walked around the padawan, without a word.

@[member="Hasjo Hallu"]

It was getting crowded really fast. It made sense though, @[member="Kira Liadain"] had a magnetism that drew people in, even if you didn't know who she was.

He finished picking up his belongings and nodded his thanks to his new master and the friendly padawan who had helped him. @[member="Meeristali Peradun"] "I don't know man, my shadow can be pretty scary" He laughed heartily
@[member="Hasjo Hallu"]

Not looking where he was going, AC ran into @[member="Antares Windu"].
"Oh Shi-, my bad man. It's my first day and all and I'm completely lost."

When they all stood up again, the polymorphic feline man answered @[member="Kira Liadain"], his tail snaking about his left leg, bright orange eyes resting on her face. In his experience, most found the vibrant orange of his irises at least somewhat unsettling, but already he knew that the Jedi were not so easily taken aback. Even amongst his own people, such eyes were rare... even of fascination or fetish to particular sectors of the population. Here, he was just another padawan.

"Stali, ma'am," he replied, "Meeristali Peradun. Of Felacat...."

His long, semi-prehensile tail freed itself of his leg, falling into an unconscious rhythm of swaying softly to and fro. Stali looked over his shoulder at @[member="Vash Hal'Brok"], shooting the other man a vaguely bemused look, the considerations of what his squadmates would have done for their own juvenile amusement at the expense of a man such as Vash flitting through his mind. He looked back to the blonde Knight, and his soft smile grew to a slight grin.

"...but that may have been obvious."

His mind was a mess. What had transpired on Rekkiad had thrown him of course with incredible force. It had been his luck that a Jedi had arrived in time to stop him in his fall. How she had known of his and his Mothers whereabouts she did not tell. She had not even given him a name or so much as told him about herself. Up until now all that she had told him was that she was a Jedi. She had told him that she would bring him to the Order to be trained in in a similar way. They would know how to help him there. Or so she had said. Tom had left it at that and had not asked further questions about it.

She had taught him some basic things about the force on their trip to the Order but his unwillingness to use the force had hindered his progression. He barely knew how to draw on the force. Using it was on a whole different page.
Once there she had dropped him of very unceremoniously. After a short but intense discussion with another Jedi that Tom did not know or get to know she left him. The last thing she told him was to try and relax. He did a bad job at that. His pack hung over one shoulder he was standing next to the landing pad and was looking quite lost. Looking around he saw a group that seemed to be gathering. He thought for a second and then slowly made his way over there.

He saw four individuals standing in the group. He even thought he was able to make out the central figure. Not sure what to do now he stopped a few meters away and waited.

Another laugh came from the Lorrdian, after giving a warm smile of greeting to Meeristali. He had beautiful eyes. While it didn't cause her any alarm, she certainly enjoyed the view, even saying, "You have beautiful eyes," in warm compliment, not intending anything other than that.

The grin went from Stali over to Vash, "Hah, well... that's why you are here. To help you reach your full potential and not let that fear control you." she said warmly. Coming to her feet after helping Vash pick up his items, she noticed two more new members.

A hand wave went towards @[member="Tom Kent"] and @AC Jazz "Hello there! I'm Kira. Come on over!" she introduced herself, turning then to the Nautolan to nod towards Windu," Ahh... looks like you met your master." she told him warmly.

A smile appeared on his face for a moment. It looked tired and half-hearted. He sure did not fool anyone with it. Managing a nod towards the woman that had greeted him and introduced herself as Kira he felt his obligations of initial hellos was fulfilled. He saw the Nautolan standing close by. With what Kira had called his new master. Tom was positive that he would spend some time here before anything like that would happen to him. He wasn’t Padawan material. Hell he wasn’t even light side material. Up to this point he did not even trust this bunch. Shure one Jedi had saved him more or less but that did not make up for the rest of them that his mother and he had encountered over the years. He managed to change the course of his thoughts towards a less compromising topic. While he did not know what the Jedi had put up in terms of security measures he still felt that he would be the one triggering them.

Stepping into the group next to the dude with the fur he felt a bit stupid. What exactly was he supposed to do here? They all seemed so happy and cheerful. The cheery anticipation in the room was noticeable. In contrast to that he must have looked like he had just come to from a extended trip to Chaos. There were dark shadows under his sunken eyes, the blue of them which was dull to star with now looked empty and dead and there were cuts and bruised all over him which had not properly healed yet.

He tried to not let anyone notice that he was pretty out of it. During the first day with the Jedi that had saved him on Rekkiad he had expected to be put in a cell to await execution upon arrival on Ossus. He had not thought that he would be dropped off with the Padawans. He still did not believe that all this was meant to be serious. To him it was a cruel joke at his expense. But he was to worn out to care. So he just went along with it for now and waited for what would come next. He was living on stolen life anyway. So what did it matter how he spent it.

At @[member="Kira Liadain"]'s compliment to his eyes, Peradun's grin reduced to a modest smile, and he tipped his head slightly to her.

"Thank you... you are a pleasant sight yourself, ma'am." He said, honestly, following her line of sight back to @[member="Vash Hal'Brok"]. He reached over and clapped Vash on the back, a low chuckle escaping him. "We'll make a confident man out of you yet, Hal'Brok."

Not a bad first day on Ossus. Things were looking alright! Turning around, he looked to the newcomers, and was about to greet yet another blonde, but he seemed to turn heel as if he'd forgotten something. The felacatian simply shrugged, and smiled at @[member="AC Jazz"].

"Hey there. The more the merrier, right?"

There was a lull. Things at the Academy on Ossus were still so fresh, so new, and as such it had not quite attained the hum he'd familiarized himself with (on a limited level) at the Coruscant temple or at the Academy on Tython. A Jedi for not even a month and he'd been in residence in each one. The hope was that his time on Ossus would be considerably more consistent in nature. For the past half-hour, the man with the fascinating brogue had been reclined in his as-yet unshared quarters, idly strumming away on his quetarra. It had been quiet, and even when the chatter and commotion began, he paid it no mind, having gotten deep into a sort of meditation while his fingers plucked at the strings, with little thought to guide them.

That ended soon enough, however. Though his fingertips had the callouses of many years of play, they needed rest eventually. Setting the quetarra on its stand, he straightened himself out, and headed out from the dorms, and to the entrance hall, from where he'd heard voices - only one of which he recognized - emanate. The gathered group came into closer view and with no announcement of his presence, he approached @[member="Kira Liadain"] and simply settled aside her.

"So... Kira," He drew out, slowly. "Who're these'uns? Care t'be a fine lass an' make some introductions?"

"So what's your name?" she asked AC Jazz, taking her datapad in her hand again after handing Vash all of his belongings. She rocked on her heels, giving a great big grin. That's when she heard another familiar voice.

"Jannik!" she said with ample excitement and cheer, giving him a wave as well. A playful wink was cast over at his direction, as she promptly introduced her padawan to their newest addition.

"Jannik this is Vash. Vash, Jannik. He's your new roommate and partner in crime." she said playfully, "My new padawan along with you." she told them. That's when she shot a thumb over to Stali. "That's Stali, and I beliieve knight @[member="Antares Windu"] is with his own new padawan, @[member="Hasjo Hallu"]."

"Got a nice big group today." she told them all, "If you haven't received your robes, boots, bedsheets and room assignments. I'll give that to you here," a nod went behind her where the other padawans were also collecting their own gear.

"Once we do that, we will head up for a brief meeting with the rest of the knights and masters of Ossus. Get you guys situated and then get to learning a bit more about each other." a wide grin came up "Don't worry... no kumbaya camp circles." she flashed a playful wink.

"Anyone have any questions?"

It got crowded really fast. But Vash's attention was distracted once his new master introduced him to his new roommate. He stepped up and loaded up his belongings into his left hand and offered out his left hand to @[member="Jannik Morlandt"]
"Hey, I'm Vash. Pleased to meet you" He grinned widely

As the new Padawans acquainted themselves with instructors of the Ossus Jedi Academy, Daella approached the group around @[member="Kira Liadain"]. Daella's steel, blue eyes examined Padawans such as @[member="Vash Hal'Brok"], @AC Jazz, and @[member="Hasjo Hallu"]. She looked over the slightly "older" Padawans that joined the welcoming ceremony as well, such as @[member="Jannik Morlandt"] and @[member="Meeristali Peradun"].

However, Daella did not greet anyone. She simply watched with a steady, passive demeanor.
