Vylmira's Wrath
G A T H E R
The Cataclysm. That was what it had come to be known. A catastrophic outbreak of some otherworldly force dealt a devastating blow to the once great force order of the Knights Obsidian. Once numbering in the thousands, now barely a hundred. Orders were given to the survivors in the aftermath: Help the people of the Confederacy. Do what you must to survive. Contain what vestiges escaped. Further instruction will come.
Nearly a week later, a message was received. It contained but a single instruction: Roon. The great bastion of the Knights Obsidian. The very same fortress that the order retreated to after the events of Shadow's Point. In spite of the headquarters in the Citadel on Geonosis, when the security of the order was threatened, the fortress of Roon played host to the order. And so it was now that the survivors were gathered within its halls at Voph's summons. Voph himself sat in silence upon one of the benches within the hall. Though there was a podium from which to address the crowd, Voph elected not to use it.
Today was not about leading an army, or stirring a nation. Today was about survival. About coming back from the brink. And so he sat until they had gathered, when he could address them as family. As the brothers and sisters that they had come to be. And to inform them of where the Knights Obsidian stood, and what would be asked of them in the coming days...
