They were still exhausted and reeling from their earlier encounter with the Firrerreo Firrerreo , the clues of combat evident all over both padawans and the haggard expressions they fought terribly to keep at bay. She was certain the story would’ve been vastly different had either of them been alone when meeting the Sith, and the thought alone caused Mahsa to seek comfort from the brunette through their linked hands.

"Wait, there's someone..." A quiet nod followed as she stared up ahead intently, her gaze trying to catch sight of whoever would be joining them in these forgotten tunnels before they could get the jump on either girl. Vera had been the first to take protective stand as the shadows shifted, and her own hand wrapped around the hilt of her dagger in preparation.

"Don't be afraid, I'm with the Alliance." The uttered words lost their meanings once the flashlight came to life, the unexpected beam of light causing the Kazelrrian to hiss and squint her eyes as they struggled to adjust after so much time in the darkness. "Looking for survivors."

Despite it she could sense through the Force that their new companion meant no ill will to them, and the promise of safety did wonders to ease the tension that had been pooling on her shoulders all this time. "T-Thank you…" It felt only right to voice out her gratitude for the Mandalorian that had come to their aid, following Vera’s lead as they walked closer to the older woman.

"The tunnels aren’t safe." Her own voice joined Vera’s as they sought to brief the Mandalorian to the best of their abilities and, despite their training, it was impossible to miss how exhausted the youngsters looked. "They’ve been exp-perimenting in them… making terrible c-creatures."

Mahsa had been worried about more of those aberrations appearing even after they’d untangled themselves from their creator, but with a Mandalorian here… the thought of making it back to a ship didn’t feel so farfetched now.

Looking back and forth at the two battered Jedi as each spoke Minerva grimace. She didn't need no force to know they just went through a hellish nightmare. The warrior wanted to know if there were other survivors but she stopped herself from asking. Minerva looked behind them just in case briefly before answering with a gesture toward the direction she came from.

"This is the way to go. It leads straight out of the mine and into the forest. I'll be right behind you, but we need to go now."

Her tone brokered authority, earned from blood soak experience. Once the padawans went past her she would follow along covering the rear. A part of Minerva wanted to keep searching for survivors but the tale she received from the duo made it clear this was now infested with monsters as much as Sith and their lackeys. She can't keep searching while protecting these two at the same time. They were in no condition to fight on.

This was a hard decision, but one the Mandalorian believed necessary. It wasn't because they were Jedi. Far from it but rather that they were young and wounded. While Minerva was more than willing to fight and die herself but she didn’t believe in needlessly endangering the lives of allies or innocents under her charge.

Turning off the helmet's light she advanced backwards, gripping her rifle and aiming it toward the darkness they were fleeing from.

NO WAY OUT

Equipment: M58 Medical Remote | Series II Aid Kit | Helm
Weapons: AT-NB5 Blaster Pistol
Vessel: Kesh II Modular Transport (Medical Configuration)
Support: Seventy-Seven | Two Danica series HRDs

The old vessel screeched like a bird of prey as it tore through the atmosphere, pulling away from the remnants of the warship as they slammed into the ground. Dust and debris from the crash kicked up, creating a heavy cloud that began to billow and spread out across the ruins of the city. A slight smirk crossed her lips as she slipped the vessel into the cloud, bringing it down just above the skyline, narrowly missing striking a skyscraper that had already begun to list. The shockwave of the impact was enough to cause the structure to come crumbling down, slamming into the ground and kicking up more dust and debris.

Amelia pressed forward on the controls, the vessel grumbling as it pushed through the dust, slipping between damaged buildings and the debris of warships that had already crashed into the ground. As they neared the extraction zone, she handed the controls over to Seventy-Seven, a silent nod followed as she pulled herself free from her seat. Amelia wasn't one to stand by, and she wasn't about to sit this moment out in the pilot's chair. Amelia's attention fell upon the helm, resting near the boarding ramp. Taking hold of the object, she easily pulled it over her brow, a low hiss slipping free as it pressurized and connected to the simple armor that she wore.

"Bring us in Seventy-Seven... Kasedi, Mara, secure the landing zone and assist in recovering survivors."

The two identical women nodded as they stood, taking up their blaster rifles and charging them as the vessel slipped through the air toward the hangar bay. Seventy-seven brought the old transport in, screaming into the hangar bay as its laser cannon turret was deployed and unleashed a blanket of covering fire to assist in further thinning out the enemy's numbers. The boarding ramp hissed to life as it dropped slowly, Amelia already at the bottom, blaster pistol in hand as she stepped out; a well-placed blaster bolt tore through the air, slamming into a Sith Trooper that was preparing another grenade. The object fell to the trooper's feet before detonating, causing the hangar to shudder for a moment as Amelia's attention shifted toward the survivors.

"Kasedi, Mara, move."

Amelia spoke as she stepped forward, looking over her shoulder for a brief moment as the two Human Replica Droids followed at her heels, each splitting to the left and right as they began to scan the immediate area for additional threats. Amelia's golden-yellow hues slowly surveyed the hangar bay, watching, searching for the Jedi Master that she had come to collect.

For the first time in a while, Alex had to actively call upon his connection to the Force. Sure, he wasn’t exactly trained in it as a Jedi would, but as K’paur he had an innate connection to it. He wasn’t about to throw objects around with a wave of a hand, but Alex was more than capable of stretching out and sharpening his senses and reflexes.

So he did just that, stretching out his senses to try and pick up on any Jedi in the area. If there were any still within the city, then it was more than likely they would’ve gathered towards where the Alliance vessel was set to land. Fortunately, the K’paur was able to feel a small collective mass of the Force; of the Light in particular, in one place.

Almost for a moment, Alex could’ve sworn he felt the familiar presence of Valery Noble .

But the soldier had little time to focus on such details. Instead, he latched onto location and let the Force guide him towards it. Was he essentially using the Force as a fancy GPS?

Yes, yes he was.

Right now, Alex couldn’t afford to make any mistakes, to find himself down one too many deadends. If he didn’t get to the hangar bay in time, he was likely going to be left here. So he zipped down numerous streets, becoming increasingly entangled in skirmishes as he went. The denseness of the Sith forces increased the closer he got to the building, making it all too apparent he wasn’t going to be able to use the front door.

So the K’paur made a detour, using some fallen debris to higher ground. From there he ‘made’ a new entrance by going over and around, managing to land a ways from the hangar door. Even from this distance he could see the Sith troops were already inside, trying to close in on the newly arrived ship.

An idea came to mind, one that even had the K’paur second guessing. No, now was not the time for that. Alex reached down to his belt, grabbing the last of his demo charges. He stuck it onto the back of his speeder bike, and then kicked it into gear once more.

He tried to make as much noise as possible, in part to draw attention to himself, but to also make sure no friendlies would be in the way. If neither worked then…

Clear the way!” Alex yelled, as the speeder slammed onto the ground within the hangar itself. Ducking an initial blaster volley, the K’paur put the bike into full speed and jumped off. Alex fell into a roll, rotating a couple times before slamming his cybernetic arm into the ground to stop. Without missing a beat, the soldier rolled onto his back, grabbed his blaster pistol and began firing. The first few missed the mark, but Alex took a deep breath, sharpening his focus for just a moment…

Boom!

Just as the speeder bike went tumbling into a sizable group of Sith forces, the demolition charge exploded.

Vera moved quickly beside Mahsa, their hands still linked, but her focus was elsewhere now — sharp and alert. Her senses stretched out through the Force, trying to grasp at any hints of danger in the dark tunnels ahead of them. That uneasy feeling had returned, crawling up her spine like a warning. The Mandalorian seemed confident in their escape route, but Vera knew better than to rely solely on hope.

As they moved, a chill ran through her. Her breath caught in her throat, and she paused, tugging slightly on Mahsa's hand.

"Wait," she whispered, her eyes narrowing as she peered into the darkness ahead. "There's… something else. I can feel it." The presence in the Force was unmistakable — cold and suffocating. Another Sith was nearby, lurking, waiting.

Before she could warn Minerva, the sounds of metal boots against the rock echoed faintly through the tunnels. The rhythmic march of Imperial soldiers closing in. Vera's heart pounded, and she extended a worried look to Mahsa.

"They're coming from both sides," Vera murmured, trying to keep her voice steady. She turned to Minerva, her expression determined despite the exhaustion weighing her down. "We can't run without being spotted. We need to fight our way out."

Her hand tightened around the hilt of her lightsaber, the green blade snapping to life with a fierce hum. The dim glow illuminated their faces, casting shadows on the rough walls around them. "We have to push our way out and go right through the Sith waiting on the other side. Or else we're trapped between the soldiers and the Sith."

There was no hesitation in her voice, no trace of the fear she had shown earlier. This was survival now — the moment when everything came down to how strong their resolve was. She glanced back at Mahsa and Minerva, ready to make her stand.

"Together, we can do this."

Tags: Roman Vossari Roman Vossari

Roman's words gave her some comfort. She thought they echoed what she might share had the roles been reversed. Roman's will to reach her, and his compassion for his fellow Jedi was strong. Strong enough to reach, Ran. "You're opening my eyes to the things I've forgotten, Roman. I must thank you again." The beginnings of a smile began to crack her stone face.

The young man made it seem so simple, and maybe it was. Ran defined the word Jedi based on her experience and herself. There was only one Ran, but the Jedi were many, an amalgamation of all is what a Jedi was. She knew she'd have to work to shift her perspective.

She wanted to see the Jedi not as one, but as one who watched, listened and learned, in hopes of becoming one. Ran thought Roman, like many other padawans of the order, knew what a Jedi was. They knew better than the Knights, and better than the Masters. They were learning what it was to be a Jedi day in and day out. That is what Ran stopped doing. She had forgotten a core tenet of their order, but she wouldn't forget it again. She needed to continue learning, and for now she'd have to trust them. To believe in them, because they believed in her.

They believed in her to protect, to be courageous, to be understanding, and to care for them, be a friend, a guide, and mentor when they needed it. Ran decided she could do that at least a little while longer.

She put a hand on his shoulder. "You're master would be proud, Roman. I know I am." She smiled. Out of the pit of self pity, for now. "And you're not alone either. I am with you as well." She continued as she picked herself up from the catwalk. "I have some things I need to work on first, but if you need me, do not hesitate to reach out." She invited. "I'm building an Enclave on Selvaris. Please come visit if you have a chance. You are always welcome." The invitation was sincere. "Let's get back to the medical bay. They may need us yet." Ran suggested.

The Rutian Twi'lek's golden orbs momentarily flicked over to the two soldiers Connel Vanagor Connel Vanagor had mentioned as they were being treated for their injuries nearby, and then her gaze came back to rest upon the young Jedi Shadow.

He was carrying a heavy burden of guilt and what if's. She knew the feeling only too well herself from past failures experiences and yes, the present day it would seem... But, dwelling on the subjective thoughts would not help anyone or change the current outcome. The Jedi way was to acknowledge the emotions brought forth and release them into the Force, then move forward with a clear mind and positive bearing.

"I know of your father. You come from good stock. I am sure you did everything you could at the moment given the dire situation. On behalf of Master Lesan's family, I thank you. Your selfless endeavor is much appreciated for all, Connel," Cambria offered with a respectful cant of her head, and then the smallest upturn at the corner of her naturally berry-colored lips followed.

"Oh yes, the Master Jedi is most stubborn. He is Corellian after all, and a Lesan to boot. Judah will live to fight another day no doubt," Cambria said with a slightly jovial tone, then became more serious as the reality of the moment called for it.

"Now I suggest you get some nourishment and rest, Knight Vanagor. Our fight with the Sith is far from over after poking the bear as they say. We will need you at your best in the days to come, hmm?" she nodded as if counseling her padawan. Well, that is at least what she would have said to Judah Lesan Jr. Judah Lesan Jr. back in the day when he was her padawan learner. Gods, that seemed like a lifetime ago.

Cambria turned her attention once again to the man floating in the healing waters who seemed to be awakening. She sent a wave of encouragement and healing through their Force bond, then answered Judah Lesan Judah Lesan as he had responded to her prompting; a good sign.

// "I know."// She replied simply then added after a tick. //"We will talk later when you are more able. For now... just get better, my friend."//

Roman felt a warmth blossom in his chest as Knight Serys, Ran, allowed the faintest smile to touch her lips. The heaviness that had shadowed their previous conversations seemed to lift, if only slightly, and he realized how much her acknowledgment meant to him. It was validation, not just of his words, but of his place within the Order.

As she spoke, words tumbling forth without pretense, he took a moment to absorb her sincerity. "You're right, Knight Serys." he replied, his voice steady but laced with enthusiasm. "We are all learners. I often forget that too, lost in training or in the rush to become something greater. But you've shown me that there's wisdom in shared experiences and in supporting one another." His gaze locked onto hers, bright with a youthful joy that only deepened as she spoke of her Enclave.

"I would be delighted to visit Selvaris." he said, excitement bubbling in his tone. "I can't wait to see what you're building there. It sounds like a wonderful place." The prospect of their friendship growing, of continuing to learn from each other, filled him with purpose.

With that, Ran stood, brushing off the remnants of their earlier conversation, and Roman followed suit, his heart lighter than it had been in weeks. Together, they made their way back through the dimly lit corridors of the vessel, the distant hum of the medical bay growing louder in their ears.

"Let's see what we can do to help." he said, determination fueling each step. He glanced sideways at Ran, a sense of camaraderie welled within him. "I'm right beside you, Knight Serys. We'll get through this together." As they approached the medical bay, Roman felt a renewed sense of hope that together, they could both heal and grow stronger.

Relief washed over her in pale yellows as the Mandalorian gestured the way she had come, the hopefulness she felt as things seemingly turned for the better radiating outwards through the Force. Perhaps it’s why she’d missed the lingering danger that lurked in the darkness, and when Vera tugged against her hand—the brunette’s worry quickly picked up—Mahsa couldn’t help but stare at her friend in confusion.

She knew better than to question the Noble’s senses however, brows furrowed instead as the Kazelrrian tentatively reached outwards a second time. She felt their presence just as the rhythmic sound of heavy footsteps echoed from the opposite side in the darkness, her hand tightening against Vera’s as the brunette’s worried look was mirrored in the Kazelrrian.

"There’s way too many of them in that direction." She nodded towards the path from which the heavy footfalls of marching soldiers faintly echoed from, her own hands finally wrapping around the hilt of both her lightsabers as Mahsa tried to ignore the exhaustion that weighed down on her shoulders—though they remained unlit for the time being.

"We b-better make it quick…" They would go through the Sith instead. "Can’t have Aris beating us back, right?"

A faint smile was given to Vera as she tried to lighten the tension that wrapped around them, steeling her own resolve as Mahsa readied herself for one more fight before they were out of these mines and this planet for good…

Minerva knew that kind of marching all too well. They were being cornered. Vera more or less confirmed it. Already on high alert the commando activated her rangfinder to locate the source and in the far distance she made out the troopers getting closer and closer. They want to make a sport out of this.

Glancing back to the Jedi she nodded. Ignoring the lightsaber's ignition she let the two padawans speak before glaring back towards where the enemy soldiers were advancing. So a Sith waiting for them huh on the other side. The scum must've wanted to make a sport out of this, she concluded in disgust. A solution came to Minerva immediately and declared.

"This should buy us some time."

Using her armor's target system she lifted her left vambrace toward the back tunnel where the troopers were advancing from. Selecting blast mode from the wrist missile launcher, the mini missile flew forth and moments later exploded with such force that the tunnel shook as if in a quake with dust falling on all of them. Soon Minerva could hear a pained moan or two. At least one enemy fireteam was wiped out but likely more were following suit. Not waiting to find out Minerva went forward with the two Jedi.

They had a Sith to kill.

Valery smirked and turned her head slightly, catching sight of her son's cheeky grin. The faint traces of charred clothing didn't seem to bother him, and she couldn't help but shake her head in amusement, "You're getting a little too comfortable with explosions, Aris," she teased, her voice light and playful despite the danger around them. "But I suppose I can let it slide — just this once."

Not that she wasn't worried about him tanking explosions — she just tried to hide it for once.

Her smirk deepened as she tapped her comm unit to signal Amelia. <We're almost there, Amelia. How about we give these Sith a proper farewell?>

Valery shifted to stand next to Aris, her gaze locking onto the incoming enemy forces. "Ready to show them why messing with the Nobles is a very bad idea?" she asked, her tone daring as the fiery determination in her eyes matched the chaos around them.

The ship shook slightly as Amelia's transport unleashed another round of covering fire. It was the perfect distraction, and Valery quickly capitalized on it, her lightsaber igniting once more to send blaster bolts back at their enemies.

"Let's get to that hangar and regroup!" Valery called out to Aris, the thrill of battle surging through her as she deflected another shot. With a quick look back, she signaled for Amelia's droids to move in tandem, a seamless dance of coordination that made their escape plan fall perfectly into place.

"They won't learn, regardless."

Aris lifted his blade. Then, took off. With the addition of the shuttle his focus on defense turned to offence, and he didn't hesitate for a moment. These troopers, as they were, they didn't have the supplies they needed to bring him harm. Grenade and blaster couldn't burn him, and they couldn't stop his blade. He ripped right through each and every soldier in his path, Seszil back by his side to help in a flash of silver.

Only when he was certain their troops could leave without being harried did he stop and get back to the shuttle himself. Seszil sheathed on his back, the blade asleep once more.

"Let's go."

NO WAY OUT

Vessel: Kesh II Modular Transport (Medical Configuration)
Screaming into the hangar bay and detonating a speeder bike... If the Sith hadn't known where the remnants of the Alliance were that had been trapped behind the lines; they sure as hell did now. A heavy sigh escaped her lips as she looked at the two Human Replica Droids, her golden-yellow hues falling upon the Jedi Grandmaster, a soft smirk crossing her lips beneath her helm. There would be a moment to greet one another properly, the middle of the firefight and rescue wasn't the proper time or place. Leveling her blaster pistol, another rapid volley struck down another Sith Trooper pushing their way forward.
"Kasedi, Mara, secure our wounded, move those that can be moved."
Amelia said as she reached for a pouch resting at the small of her back. With a soft smile, she pulled free a small remote, her thumb pressing a button on the side to activate the droid before she pulled her hand away as it began to hover in the air. It had been a while since she'd utilized the small droid, however, she was still confident in its abilities to render aid and offer assistance.
"Assist with triage. I want to get our people out of here as soon as we can."
The little remote let out a soft beep before it zipped off towards the two Human Replica Droids already assisting a wounded soldier to their feet. Amelia nodded quietly before pulling her attention back toward the opening of the hangar bay. They were lucky, the doors had been damaged enough to prevent them from being closed; however, it also meant that the enemy could still easily access the interior. The initial assault on the position seemed to have been turned back, yet, she knew that they were merely regrouping and preparing a counter-attack.
Amelia turned toward Valery, giving the woman a nod before her golden-yellow hues fell upon the other Jedi. The Padawans always seemed to get younger and younger with each passing year. Her left hand lightly tapped against her thigh, Amelia's ears perked up as she carefully listened to her surroundings. Taking a step forward, she leaned up against a piece of debris that had fallen from the ceiling, her golden-yellow hues shifting back toward the entrance, watching the area intently for any signs of movement.

The silence that passed between them was a comfortable one that allowed them both to work as he collected tags and she noted down their names she pondered how best it would be to make sure that these names were never forgotten. She was just a padawan, fresh out of training, she had very little influence, but perhaps if she could find someone to advocate for her…

His words brought her back out of her thoughts, large black eyes staring innocently at him as he confessed his relation to the Vanagors. she didn't know them personally but she'd heard of them, it was impossible not to. His next words made her swell with pride as she rolled onto the balls of her tiny feet, her ears pricking upright.

"Thank you Ad -uh- Liram, that means a great deal coming from someone as experienced as yourself." She wanted to hug him, but somehow, it felt inappropriate. A new friend and belief in her future all in the shadow of such a terrible battle. She was only small, but even the smallest of pebbles could make ripples in the pond.

They fell silent again as he collected the last few tags. "Liram," she began. "Would you mind if I kept a copy of the names of the fallen? This is the first battle of many, I would liek to amke sure they are not forgotten."

It was humbling to stand there and witness the ideals and beliefs a young one could exhibit. No doubt that Liram himself once held these so long ago, but it was still a good reminder of what it was like to be young and wide-eyed. He could look at this like someone who will see the young eyes grow old and gray with bitterness but he did not see it happening.

I see where you are coming from, and by all means, you are welcome to. Turning to give Tuli his full attention, he clarified.

I would give you respectful food for thought. Remember the fallen, but do not allow yourself to live in the past. The present will pass you by. He didn’t want to discourage the Padawan from remembering, but it was important to keep things in balance. Even if you weren’t a Jedi.

"Come on Ori." Avery would say as she watched the transport deactivating its cloak to come down and land. The pair's astromech droid followed them on, letting out a robotic screech when a blaster bolt almost hit the poor droid. As the ramp to the transport was dropped down and two crew members ran out to help out the Jedi, Avery ushered Ori into the transport setting her down gently. She gave her Twi'lek co-pilot a smile before jogging back out to shoot at the Sith as well. Even though Silas seemingly had it mostly handled., especially with him moving a piece of concrete to block the more heavier shots coming from the Sith.

But then the crew started to fall back in, and Avery would follow them as the transport began to lift off into the air. Avery looked back out to watch the Jedi block a few more bolts before running back to the ship, slipping on through as the ramp shut closed. She could hear the blasters hitting the hull before the transport moved out of their range. Avery took this moment to breathe and sat down next to Ori, giving an appreciative look to the Jedi. But her face darkened when he asked about the other pilots. She couldn't answer that.

"..Gone."
Ori would say "All of our squad. You can say..we are dealing with a bit of survivor's guilt."

Alexander let out a pained groan, pushing himself up onto his feet. The adrenals were beginning to wear off, and the K’paur was feeling his strength and focus wane. He took a moment to look around, get an idea of the situation they were in. For the time being it seemed the enemy had slowed their attack. Though it was all but inevitable they’d be back soon.

Final stretch Hayes, final stretch.

Ignoring just how badly his body was complaining, Alexander began helping people get aboard the ship. Whether it was throwing their arm over his shoulder to help them walk, or outright carrying them up the shuttle’s ramp. The soldier went back and forth, determined to make sure everyone made it onboard.

Time was ticking however, and the longer it went the more likely it was for the Sith to make another push. Alexander had just helped another fellow soldier onto the shuttle, when the man grabbed his arm.

You should take this,” he said, holding out his rifle. “I ain’t exactly going to be using it right now.” The K’paur thought about it for a moment, knowing his pistol wasn’t going to quite cut it if the enemy hit them hard.

Alexander nodded, taking the offered rifle. “Make sure you get yourself some medical aid, we should hopefully be lifting off soon.” With that all said and done, the K’paur took up a position just by the hangars ramps. Crouching down and tucking himself against the shuttle’s bulkhead. With the rifle primed, Alexander was ready for the enemy’s next advance.

Vera's grip tightened on her lightsaber as the dust settled around them. The explosion had given them a brief reprieve, but she knew it was temporary. Soldiers were closing in, and the Sith ahead would be waiting to cut them down the moment they emerged. Her gaze shifted to Minerva and Mahsa — exhaustion was weighing them down, but they had no choice but to push through.

She took a deep breath, pushing back her own fear, and offered Mahsa a determined nod in response to her words, "Quick it is. Aris is going to owe us a victory feast after this," she whispered with a faint grin, trying to keep the mood light despite the tension thrumming through the air.

Turning her attention to Minerva, Vera's expression shifted to one of gratitude. "Good call," she said softly, acknowledging the Mandalorian's quick thinking with the missile. It had bought them precious time, but now they had to move. "Let's not give them a chance to recover."

With a swift motion, she stepped forward, leading the way down the tunnel toward the Sith. The green glow of her lightsaber illuminated the path, casting eerie shadows on the rocky walls around them. As they approached, Vera could feel the darkness intensifying — a suffocating pressure that made each breath a little harder, every step a little heavier.

But she wouldn't back down. Not now.

"Stick close. We'll take him together," she murmured over her shoulder, her voice steady and strong. "We're getting out of here — all of us."

As soon as those words left her lips, a crimson blade ignited up ahead, casting a sinister glow against the walls of the tunnel. Vera knew they'd need to push him out of the caves and into the open, where they could overwhelm him with their numbers. But this Sith Lord realized the same and stood inside the more narrow tunnel to cut off their path.

"This far and no further," he said.

She was grateful for the quick wit and resourcefulness of their unexpected escort, and whatever worry she held evaporated when the small projectile caused enough of a hindrance to the approaching troops in these tight tunnels. Ill advised to fire too many of those in some of the abandoned tunnels the girls had used to infiltrate, but for the time being luck seemed to favor the trio as they began making their way in the opposite direction.

The faint grin in Veras lips confirmed her words had the desired effect and, despite the growing tension of the situation they found themselves currently in, Mahsa found herself smiling back. They would make it out of here—all of them would—and have quite the story to share with Aris Noble Aris Noble , Zaiya Ceti Zaiya Ceti , and even Ayhan Ayhan .

Hopefully he won’t be too angry this time around… She'd never forget the look on his face as they'd finally reunited back in the Jakku enclave after the Kazelrrian had gone missing for two weeks.

His presence was impossible to miss as they got closer, the sickening miasma of the dark side coating every inch of their tight escape. It placed them at a disadvantage, unable to properly maneuver within the confined tunnel for a better position against the Sith that stood before them, but it also opened a different avenue of opportunities.

With Vera’s green lightsaber commanding most of the attention it was easy for Mahsa to clip her own back onto her belt, the Kazelrrian staying a step behind the brunette as additional cover while fiddling with the bangles gifted to her by Zaiya. A singular pellet of a deep blue shade popped from the creation bangle after a moment, quickly affixed to the energy slingshot of her cuff before the small orb was propelled towards their foe in record speed.

Mahsa had aimed for his leg deliberately, and the orb shattered upon impact with the Sith’s knee as a cool air wrapped around it. It wouldn’t be enough to freeze or keep him in place, but the icy chill would still bypass whatever armor or cover they had as it seemed into the cartilage and his very bones—and the Kazelrrian hoped it’d be enough to hinder his movements.

The lights of her bangle glowed as another pellet was already in the works, determined to support Vera until her little “party tricks” were rendered obsolete.

Tuli nodded. "A Jedi should be mindful of the past and future, but their focus should always be on the present." she said solemnly as if reciting a lesson repeated by the many masters at the Academy. Still, she felt a tug in her heart that this was the right thing to do and she trusted both her own gut and the force.

She would collate the names of the fallen throughout the coming war, not to cling to the past nor to the loss, but more so that they would not be forgotten, so that perhaps in the future a memorial could be erected to commemorate all of them for those who enjoyed their ice cream to see.

She gave a singular nod, more to herself than to Liram, adding the final name to the datapad and sending a copy to herself before handing it over to him.

"What's next?" she asked eager to continue to assist the Admiral.
