Unless there were a few transportation methods out of sight, escape would be out of the question. The blaster bolts that begun to pour downwards on the group slammed into the vehicle that [member="Carden Lorps"] took cover behind. Four soldiers would focus their aim on the infantry, firing back at the pirates who decided to fight back. Quick, bright flashes of light would zoom across the dunes as bolts of deadly energy travelled in every direction. While the four provided covering fire, the other eight continued to focus on the speeders, pelting them violently until they were no longer usable. Hopefully this had worked, for if it had their efforts would not be in vain. Travelling across the desert was an extremely annoying task, one that irritated the boy greatly. These scum would know justice. Widening his eyes, Tugoro would gasp as he saw Carden Lorps, an old time friend. What was he doing here?
Keeping his saber leveled out with his waist, Tugoro's arms and hands would continue to move with grace as he deflected blaster bolts, causing them to bounce harmlessly into the sand. Tugoro's eyes would close as he began to concentrate even further, the force having guided him thus far. Battles like these always made him nervous, though entrusting the force with his capabilities always put him at ease. The teenager's saber would rotate in a three hundred and sixty degree spin at his side, slamming into a bolt that had been directed at a soldier. It would travel at a high speed, piercing one of the pirate's armor with ease. The soldiers that had focused their aim on the vehicles would now begin to aid in the battle, however there would be losses on the Republic side. The pirates had managed to gun down three soldiers, their bodies laying limp in the sand. Gritting his teeth in anger, Tugoro would begin to stride forward, the force energy in and around him having gathered to his body.
Though, before he could employ his padawan-level force speed, a rocket would soar past him, causing his hair to flap furiously in the air. A soldier stood at the top of the dunes, knelt for balance as he lowered his missile launcher. The projectile would leave a trail of smoke in it's wake as it advanced on the pirates at a high speed, spinning many times in the air before it came crashing down. It would explode, though the causalities would be revealed when the smoke cleared.
