Get paid... keep flying (Carliah Dakrone)

Revy was looking around at the giant mushrooms and making a face as she went about it all. Her hand touching one of them as she listened to her mother. "Even if they do have one we can just do like we did on Widek, kill the leader and put you in charge." She shrugged thinking about it cause what was a little drinking and casual couping between mother and daughter to strengthen their bond. Then they were at the foot of the mountain and what looked like sections of a city or ruin at the top drew her attention to it. "That is going to be a long climb if we can't find a path."

"We can't kill the leader. The Vitae will not approve and trust me, you don't want to anger the fox man. As for finding a path... The trees and mushrooms don't seem to grow as thick in some places, like there was once a path but it has slowly grown over. Follow me," Carliah explained as she started leading the way through the less densely covered area. There were small patches of worn down cobblestones interspersed with the lush green grass that covered the ground. There had definitely been a path there many years ago, that had simply worn down from lack of use. [member="Revy Dakrone"]

She looked at her mother and shrugged. "The fox doesn't have to know all the way out here... besides I have never heard what does the fox say about killing." There was a look at the place her mother was indicating while she walked with her. She was walking around it and observing for any of the strange creatures that might be here on the world. It was quiet and whimsical even but she couldn't help feeling something in her stomach while she was moving with her to follow. "This feeling in my stomach is strange."

"It'll go away after a while. Try eating something, I think there's some energy bars in the bag you're carrying. In the side pocket I believe," Carliah replied with a chuckle. Her daughter did not seem to be enjoying the aftereffects of drinking, and Carliah found that extremely amusing. She continued to trek up the mountain for a bit. After another thirty minutes Carliah stopped and glanced around.

"You can't see the ruin from here anymore, I have no idea how close we might be. Stay here, I'm gonna climb one of these mushrooms," Carliah instructed as she swung her bag off her shoulder and set it on the ground. She walked over to the tallest Felucia in the area and slowly began to climb up it. It was a difficult, and annoying process due to the spongy texture of the giant mushroom, but she managed it with a little help from the Force. When she got to the area right under the mushroom cap she had a bit of a tougher time, but eventually managed to climb onto the very top of the mushroom. The ruin they were searching for was a bit closer now and more focused. It looked like some kind of deserted city. She slowly climbed back down to tell her daughter what she saw. Revy looked at her mother and that had to be it while she was grabbing at the energy bar with a small look on her face. The thoughts coming to her while she opened it and was enjoying the taste of nuts and berries. Her mother was looking around and she looked herself at the large mushroom and the idea of climbing that seemed dangerous and below their station as she was moving about underneath it. her mother making her way up as she finished the bar and put the wrapper in her bag. "Then we should keep going and get there as soon as possible."

"Aye, let's go. I'm thinking we can make it there by nightfall if we're lucky. Be careful though, the path gets steeper as it goes up and I don't need to explain to your father that you died falling down the side of a mountain after I drunkenly dragged you on an impromptu expedition to find a planet that may or may not have existed. Lucky for us it did, but your father will never forgive me if I let you die here. He'll be angry enough when he realizes the ship is gone," Carliah replied, snatching up her bag and immediately setting off up the path again. She was determined to find whatever was at the top of this mountain. The city was only half way up the mountain and she was determined to make it by nightfall. [member="Revy Dakrone"]

Revy looked at her mother as they were going and she had to admit there was something about the whole bonding thing or maybe she was still feeling the effects of the booze to be this nice. She was thinking about watching her mother try to explain it but she was fairly certain she'd be able to at least find a vague way while the girl looked on the old trail. "Well I am certain you'd think of something but the real question is we are going to be able to find the way back sober."

"We should be able to see the clearing from the ruin, and I can always climb more mushrooms on the way back down to check our position once in awhile. What do you suggest? Leaving a trail of bread crumbs behind us so we can find our way back? This isn't a children's fairy tale Revy, and I'd rather not attract attention from any strange creatures that may inhabit this world. We don't really know what any of them do, and I'd rather have a larger party with us when we do find out," Carliah replied with a small laugh once again. Her daughter did have a point, but the madwoman wasn't that concerned. She was confident they'd find their way back to the ship. [member="Revy Dakrone"]

"I meant the coordinates for the ship we did kind of jump somewhere in uncharted space randomly." She said it while holding her head looking towards the large mushrooms they could climb. "Also there are giant mushroms and I am fairly certain I saw a smiling cat.... Kind of questioning if we didn't try and go swimming and end up drunk." She was looking up towards the higher sections of the mountains for the ruins and her head hurt a little more.

"Oh we'll be fine, and I never erased the co-ordinates from the navigation system, so we will be able to find the ship and this planet again... What do you mean you saw a smiling cat? I didn't see it. This certainly is a strange place... I'm growing rather fond of it," Carliah replied, grinning like the very cat Revy had seen. The insane woman continued to smile as the continued there trek up the mountain. After several long hours they emerged in a large clearing surrounding the ruins of an old city. The sun was beginning to set behind the mountains casting the ruin in deep shadows. [member="Revy Dakrone"]

The sight of it all while she was walking came to her. THere were more creatures on the edges of her senses and she thought she had found other creatures. A look though on her way with a grin seeing the clearing. "It is strange, there doesn't seem to be any life and yet there was something here." She was looking at the mountain side where an old overgrown ship was partially protruding out of sections of the ruined city. "Looks like something crashed into there and if it is leaking could explain why I am feeling sick. We should have grabbed the deflection badges from the engineering section of the ship."

"Lead the way," Carliah told her, falling in step behind her daughter as they approached the ruin. The former Sith smiled as she watched her daughter walk in front of her. This trip seemed to be going well for both of them. The were getting to enjoy the mother-daughter bonding that had been denied to them since the twins were born. She only wished Revy's brother could have been there to join them, as well as Yusan. [member="Revy Dakrone"]

Revy was moving into the ruins with her mother and there was something she could feel, on the edge of her senses until she could feel it. The cities edge that brought more things to her. The radiation was there now she could almost taste it but there was also the clinging sense of power and death... Like a cold chill washing over her within the force while the shimmering scene of a golden beings seemed to move across a window in the ruined city but in an instant it was gone. "I think i saw something."

"Yeah, I think I did too... This place feels weird... Aside from the radiation there's something else about it that just seems... off. Let's get to the bottom of this," Carliah slowly moved deeper into the ruin, searching for anything out of the ordinary, which was admittedly hard to do since she knew almost nothing about the planet. That never stopped her though, she was determined to learn all she could about this mysterious planet. Any secrets it had she would be sure to discover. [member="Revy Dakrone"]

Revy was looking at her mother and nodded but the radiation this far out from the city felt strong and she didn't know if they had the skills to protect themselves from it for long. "We're going to need a way t protect ourselves." A look on her face while she was working to push and create a protection bubble while latching onto the feeling of the force. "Help me." She held her hand for her mother to jin while wanting to make a larger bubble when she was seeing more shapes move around in the shadows.

Carliah turned back and grabbed her daughter's hand, helping her focus on forming the protection. They would both be extremely tired after this, but Carliah had a feeling it would be worth it. She had a feeling they were about to uncover something big. The very ground here seemed to have a strong connection the force, and it got strong the closer they moved to the center of the city. It was becoming clear that the crashed ship was responsible for decimating the ruin. [member="Revy Dakrone"]

She was focused on the shield but there were things here now, her senses were telling her plainly and she even saw one standing there. Golden skin gleaming in the filtered light from the mountains coming in. It was getting darker though while she was looking over some of the things. The image of the creature though was something that interested her as well as the feeling as they got closer and she was looking over their older clothing that was tattered and discolored. "That is a strange creature."

Walking the Path to Redemption
"Indeed it is... Do you think they understand us?" Carliah asked, glancing over at her daughter for a moment before going back to studying the gleaming golden creature. It was a rather interesting thing, they were live statues out of some fairy tale castle. The were quite tall with a rather stern look about them, like a fierce warrior race, and most them were female it seemed. That was interesting. It hinted at a truely matriarchal society. Revy was looking them over and there was much about them that seemed strange. The shape of their body and that they were not needing protection or suits... THeir clothing was old sure but more were coming around them and she worked to maintain the link with her mother and with the nexus of force energy she could feel to try and keep the shield so they wouldn't lose their hair to the radiation. "THey know basic... I am not certain but there is something dangerous about them. Te darker ones seem scarier."

"We should be careful. We only came to explore the nexus, but they don't know that. Maybe we should talk to them?" Carliah suggested, wrapping an arm around Revy's shoulders protectively. She would not let any of these strange creatures harm her daughter. She noticed that not all of them were gold skinned, some were more blue or purple in hue. One thing didn't seem to change though. Most of the creatures before them were undoubtedly female. [member="Revy Dakrone"]
