Girl with Ghost Eyes

She was moving and grabbing a rifle to drop down and slam against the beast. Alyisa knew what she was doing and showed her more close quartered combat skills when Segotha came to Sala'dines hand. The blade activating with a snap hiss as the merc went down to his knee... then onto the floor with a heavy thunk. The admiral moved though quickly once he was down and started securing his arms and legs. SOmething in his mouth to prevent biting with those fangs as she spoke. Barsoom wasn't close but it was the closest thing to a jedi presence on this planet and she could hope they might have some information about what had happened to them and was going on.

The one thing they had in abundance today was binders and cuffs. Earlier it was because they were at some kinky fest party n a hotel and now it was because they were in a slavers warehouse. Aly scooped up four pairs of binders while Sala’dine used a pair of binders on the Trandoshan.

“I’ll get the other four cuffed”, Aly started to run to the area where they put down the first two guards. They were still both out cold and it took a little effort to roll them over into position. Once in place it was two more guards cuffed.

That just left the two up on the catwalk. Alyisa started to run into that direction.

Sala'dine gave a nod while she was working on getting them cuffed and ready. With jedi from barsoom arriving to handle the situation it would all serve their needs. The admiral stood by the cage and opened it up to let out some of the captives when they offered smiled and anything to her. She held a few up and carried them outwards and into the transprots that had arrived. She was looking at Alyisa as she spoke. "We need to see if we can find anything to explain what has happened to us. We might be able to find more of their database." She was moving and taking a seat with a few of the girls at the transport to make sure they were all secure. She looked at Alyisa with a smile on her face as she spoke. "Looks like we have made some progress."

“Indeed we have”, Aly looked at the freed slaves. She tried her best not to think that could have been her again. “Judging by the layout of this warehouse I’m guessing the officer is located somewhere off this cat walk. I will go take a look.”

Alyisa was already up here so she started to look around. Walking all the way down the catwalk to the very other end of the warehouse she had located a door. Checking the door she found out quickly it was locked.

“Sala, would that Trandoashan happen to have a key on him”, Aly spoke through her comlink. If there was no key she was going to have to pick the lock.

"I'll check." She said it and was looking at the large beast of a being as they had stripped him of equipment so she could look through it all. She had sections of the equipment in bags and brought out the keycards. "I have several keycards, I'll bring them up to you." She said it while looking over the floor and up towards the hallway. She was walkign to go and meet Alyisa as she handed them over to her arriving. "So any ideas what we might be able nto find here? We have some fo the girls but I doubt this is the only warehouse they have." She was trying to find information but also some support as she realized this is what could have happened to the two of them.

“We will soon find out”, Alyisa took the key cards and started to try to use them.

“I would imagine if there is another one information on it would be in this office”, the third card worked.

The door opened reveling a room full of computer, sleeves with a number of curious items most likely taken for those who had been captured or in the process of being captured.

She gave a nod, if they could find information they could give it to the investigators themselves and the local security forces. They could build it all up with a look on her face though as she checked out Alyisa getting in and the things that had been taken. "Well we might be able to return these." Before she looked to see what they had though she was getting one of the datapads out to start working on hacking and slicing into their files. It was better to have the technology with your she knew going over towards the items they had taken. She started to go through them. "Alright, tell me if you are managing to find anything."

So Alyisa walked in wand started to walk around. She went over to the items taken from people who was captured or in the process to be captured. Sala was dealing with the computers so this just made sense. There were a number of curious items. The jewelry in here would have been a nice small payout for these slavers.

There were items of personal effects like pass ports. That would help with determining who was taken. Those who was already taken away, it would be a little easier to know who you were looking for.

There was one section that made Alyisa stomach turn. The section was data pads of poorly shot adult films of those who were taken into slavery or was in the process like her and Sala. In this section was a name of a local adult film company. What stood out among the data pads was a book that Alyisa picked up. It had looked familiar and that is why she picked it up.

There was one page that bindings were well used, the type that comes from someone reading that section over and over again. Well Alyisa had read a few sentences then picked up the nearest data pad that was with the book.

Turning on the pad there was an image of two people in it. The two people were in this room right now. Alyisa was an upset but she did not outwardly show it right now.

She walked over and placed Sala’dine’s signed novel of one of her favorite books, down on the table. It should have still been in her private quarters back on the Jedi Shadow. They must have brought it with them. It was the only explanation. It was right there for Sala to see. Then Alyisa placed the crudely film of them down on the table next to it.

“Look for the name of that local company on that computer. Let’s see what we can find what they had been planning.”

Sala'dine was looking at the information when Alyisa came over to her with the book and video's. She turned her attention to it, she was looking at the video and for a moment she was not completely sure of what she was seeing through the red. "Oh.... drug me, record me... that is one thing... mess with my books." She was fuming as the typed into the pad to get the information itself about the company and her moving fingers clacked louder then they should or would need to with the screen and holopad. She wanted to see a couple of things though while standing next to Alyisa as she spoke. "Here we go, looks like they have several divisions and handle a lot of content here on zeltros and across the holonet. Some of it I imagine is pretty legit and they don't know everything that they get. A smart move so it makes it harder and they would want to save face even if they are being used and manipulated." It would be harder to claim they knew and did it anyways then they were played for fools at times before she was pulling it up to see which division was paying them and sending the ifnormation to the investigators.

Alyisa was watching the screen flipping through information while Sala’dine was chatting. Alyisa was listening. She was also helping to filter the content that came up on the screen. Sala did have to flip through the info fast so they could get through the information in a timely manner.

“Right there”,Alyisa pointed a something for Sala to click on. The information was a production meeting for the video they were staring in. The meeting was set to happen two hours from now.

“I think we should show up in place of our friend we just cuffed down in the warehouse. We should read over this guy’s documents before we head there. Is there an attached file for that meeting that contains?”

Sala'dine was looking at her and she could get behind that idea... well most of it. She was not certain about a few things but them going to the meeting and seeing about what was going to be done with their video... that would and could prove the most effective." I agree and we'll figure it out." She was debating what to do... it didn't sem like it would be a good time to embrace her but then they were watching their violation.. if there was atime for some form of comfort then this would be it as she let herself warm to the idea and offered a nod of her head. Getting everything to the others who were here, setting the course for the meeting and heading out in one fo the speeders."

“I’m hoping we can stop it from being released”, Alyisa chimed in. “It would be more then awkward if people on board the Jedi Shadow found out about it not to mention everyone at the Silver Rest. It could prove to be a difficult thing to overcome. It could mean we could not sit in a typical military structure together. Well I do not know the typical military protocol for the silver Jedi but most governments frown on this sort of behavior between their officers.”

Alyisa walked back over to the item second again to see if she could find anything useful before they left to go to this meeting.

Sala'dine was looking at her with a look on her face, where she could check and speaking to look over at her. "Hey, we are going to solve this. The video we will work to prevent it from being released." She didn't speak about some of the things, it was known that several of the leaders within the SIlver jedi and their military had been married to equal or lower ranks... their command structure was normal but there was always the chance of people finding out... sadly she knew two things. One it would only become a massive problem to some people and others would well not care or even notice. The other was that Alyisa was worried about it therefore Sala'dine was worried about it and she would do everythignt o ease her worry. Moving over to stand next to her and she pulled her up just her arms just went around her. Eyes focused and looking at her. "We are going to fix this, even if I have to raze the galaxy to protect your honor Alyisa."

Alyisa did not know why she was worried about it. Looking through the items again she attempted to think of why. There was some sort of mental block, it did not make sense. There was something aloof she could sense. It was not here on Zeltros per say. It was something that had to deal with her past and this mental block.

“Maybe we will”, Alyisa looked back over to Sala’dine.

“I do not know about such words as honor anymore. What I do know is you don’t deserve having something private like this plastered all over the galaxy. I hope these people we will see…will see reason”, she would have smiled if she had the energy. Truth was she meant what she said. Normally she would have just smiled to act playful…or like she was kidding. It would be in their best interest to just do what she was going to ask them nicely.

She gave a nod fo her head in understanding, with everythign that had been happening to them... with everything that she could think about... well the admiral was prepared to handle it. "We will make sure they do, don't forget we have allies, powerful ones like Corellian digital which makes most of the holonet content including distribution platforms. One of the larger groups in the galaxy that creates holonet com beacons." She said it with a smile on her face though wrapping her arms around Alyisa with a nod of her head and just holding her there. "We'll do it and we'll eventually remember everything that is driving us."

There were some things Alyisa did not know what to think, as she was now being held again. She did hold [member="Sala’dine"]. She did not push the other woman away. There was just too much on Alyisa’s mind and she may have seemed a little distant.

“Well, maybe we should start to head there. I do not wish to miss this opportunity”, Alyisa felt her world seemed a little out of control at the moment. She just needed a few things to go her way.

"Then let us go now." She said it and released her watching everythign that the woman would be able to do. Leading the way outside as they had the speeder to head towards the meeting place. The jedi were working with the locals to set up a meeting in one of the secured locations here. Jaisoom would be something that they might be able to do. Xosoom was another place that the jedi had been working to set up a few other things. Sala'dine was sittign there where she looked out the window and could see Zeltros in all of its splendor with the ngiht life. THey really like dit here when she stretched out. "Now before we go into this Alyisa.. there are some ground rules. We should approach this diplomatically, request with them but we can't make them angry and if they go for legal or to stonewall us. We will have failed alright."

“Yes”, Alyisa replied to Sala’dine right before they started to head out of the warehouse. She did not argue about who should drive this time. Sala was leading the way and her mind was too distracted. So Alyisa climbed into the speeder with Sala.

On the ride over she just looked out the window watching the light flash by. Purposely she did not think of some details. There were just some questions she was not ready for. Like who had got married at the ceremony they had supposedly been at. Or who was the happy couple that owned the crystal fox.

From one tragedy to another Alyisa life was always spinning out of control. Always something tugging at the back of her mind there was something more deeply wrong.

“What”, Alyisa asked as she was pulled out of her private thoughts. “Yes diplomatically”, she answered. She understood, she just wished she could just shoot them all. She knew that was not an option.

Sadly no shooting would happen just yet. Not just because they had a post or two to get to the building they were heading too. “Can I shot them after words”, she giggled as if she was jesting. She might not be joking though.

"Well... we'll talk about it... but no ice cream if you do." She said it with a smile on her face when she was looking at Alyisa. The building was ahead of them and a droid met them. "Welcome to Starbust Entertainment Distributions. How might I be of service to you?" The droid was looking at them and Sala'dine had a smirk come to her face when she was following the droid in. "We have a meeting about a video." There was a moment. "Ah yes come with me." The droid was leading the way into a large building and there were a few images on display of their various titles. Some toys, things all around while she looked at Alyisa standing around in the room before the sound of others coming to see them was sounding down the hall.

For lack of better words Alysa was sort of on auto pilot at this point. She was following along and not saying much. She was holding herself back. She knew herself well enough. The Silver Jedi played by rules she was not accustomed to. Sadly she could not go in guns blazing and dish out some real justice. Ok it did not really sound Imperial much. However Alyisa was not a imperial anymore. If she had her memory she would also know she lived longer under a different set of rules then Imperial.

She did wish to shot the droid but did not. As they went down the hall way, she wanted to pull out her side arm, but did not. Seeing the images around the room and toys, Alyisa jaw tightened. Was it surprising she got a little angrier? She kept it in though as they waited in the room for the people who was coming down anther hallway.

The group of five men in suits came into the room. They had shocked looks upon their faces. They were expecting someone else, maybe?

“Where is Targen”, one of the men asked in a surprised tone. “You two are supposed to be in a cage somewhere”, maybe he said too much reveling to much of his hand. So he knew what was going on. He also knew who Alyisa and [member="Sala’dine"] were.

“Just keep calm”, Alyisa said through gritted teeth. “We’re here to discuss business”, Alyisa left the rest of the talking to Sala. Because really she had nothing nice to say and it could hurt their chances of doing this Sala’s way.
