Sad, yes.
I kinda figured where it was heading a few scenes into it. I haven't lost anyone that close to me, so I don't know really how to explain how I feel really, other than I don't wish to feel that sadness of missing someone that is as part of my life as my own soul.
Yes, I bury my head in the sand still, rather than to feel something now, which we all will inevitably experience.

No, I don't think I directly have. But I do enjoy the freedoms afforded to me because of the sacrifices people have made that have served in the military branches.
