Hey there! I just have a few questions/clarifications/suggestions after reading your post in the invasion.

So, basically the confusion lies in this: as my post played out, Kiff jumped behind Dimitri's fleet, which is arranged with Star Destroyers furthest from Kiff and closest to John, then some heavy cruisers and finally a line of corvettes. Kiff jumps right behind these corvettes and goes to town. In my post, Kiff specifically orders to fire on the corvettes, cruisers, Star Destroyers, the whole shebang.

The placement of your battlecruiser would mean it's right in Kiff's line of battle, or perhaps behind it depending on how far you consider 'rear' of the fleet to be. Depending on how you write it, this could basically mean that most of Dimitri's ships are now suddenly blocked from my firing view by your battlecruiser. In addition to that, your post also places your battlecruiser approximately right where my fleet jumped out, which adds the chance of your battlecruiser being potentially rammed or bumped into by my ships (for ease of access, it's five Star Destroyers and one Battlecruiser of my own that constitutes the 'line' there).

The fact is that your placement of the battlecruiser invalidates a lot of the thread canon that has been established between two rounds of posting between Dimitri and me; your placement of the battlecruiser puts my fleet in an extremely awkward position, and introducing this after I have posted did not give me any way whatsoever to react or plan differently. My post and movement were planned on the information given to me by Dimitri, and you putting a battlecruiser in there after-the-fact feels like it is invalidating most of my posting. Not only that, but in-character Kiff does intensive studying and planning of the fleet in question, including mentioning each type of ship that Kiff is engaging (I also do this in the OOC summary at the bottom of my post).

In addition to that, I can't seem to find anywhere in your post where you acknowledge the entrance or engagement of my ships.

Hi Nyx N1X3 , can you clarify what jamming is taking place? As I read the post, it looks like non-CIS communications are being restricted to/from the planet at Rodia, and HoloNet access is being blocked planet-wide. So on-planet communications are still fine?

If I have this wrong, can you clarity?

Planetary to Interstellar communication, or vice versa, is being suppressed except for Confederate communications; this includes the holonet.

At the time of Nyx's post, on-planet communication that does not rely on any off-planet means should remain operational.

My apologies. I meant to post yesterday and time got away from me as I'm currently going through an emotionally taxing time irl with my family. I did not catch up on reading posts prior to typing up my post and that was my fault. I wrote to respond to my partner and get a post to him in a semi-timely manner.

Regarding edits, would it be a good compromise to move Discordia's vengeance to the edge of the Talay system and have the crew of the cruiser notify Kyrinov of the presence of a new fleet in the system? I do not intend to take part in the fleeting fighting/engagements and I am there as support for the main fleet. It was not and is not my intention to obstruct any actions or undermine any established thread canon/actions in any writer's post.

If the suggested edit clears up the issue, I will be more than happy to make edits to clear up any confusion for fleeters. If you find that another aspect of my post needs editing or the suggested edit would still obstruct the line of fire introduced by your fleet, please contact me again and I'm sure we can work out a compromise that works for both of us as well as our respective sides.

And don't worry about it, as I said earlier real-life absolutely comes before chaos -- I'm sorry that you're going through a rough time and wish you the best.
