Ok, so I've been looking around a bit, reading up on the history (Which i was surprised by the sheer magnitude), and all I'm wondering is how do players get involved to do Roleplays, I've seen the looking for groups, but it looks like its more than just those who get into all these threads.

LFG (looking for groups) is kinda how people look for threads to A. meet people or B. have a specific plot/idea in mind.
My advice, if you are looking to lean your character for a specific Major Faction i.e Sith Empire or Jedi Faction or other faction, you'll find threads designed to cater to those writers. If you are looking to go independent, free of factions, then LFG is a good start. You can look at the Factions to find a faction or just have an idea to meet people, hence LFG to see who is interested in your idea.
If you want a foot in, I'll write with you in a thread idea of your choice just to help you out.

Also.....threads marked as OPEN is for anyone to join. PRIVATE are with either permission. So you could join a an OPEN thread as well to get your self familiar with the site and other writers....to make friends or meet other like minded writers.

Thank you for that information, I think I'll try independent at first, learning through trial and error. And thank you for the offer, but I've been reading up on your character, and Sith lord of Sith lords seems a bit high profile, at least for a start, for my old, retired, kinda grumpy, doctor. I think I'll start with the lowly muggles in the LFG or open threads. Have a nice day!

[member="Joza Perl"] Yeah show some love for the outer rim , i am more of a villain than a hero probably should have joined the sith empire but every since i first watched star wars i loved the Pirates of the outer rim. The movies and the cartoons just made the outer rim seem so awesome so i signed up. In all the galaxies of all the worlds i will take a little piece of the outer rim. Outer Rim Coalition only place to be.
