Home sweet home.

Alexander brought his hand down as he looked off towards the far end of the street while he ate a food bar of random choice. Out and about again he was finding his time on the planet to actually be more of detriment lately. He had met interesting person after interesting person, always wondering why he was so cautious about leaving his home but he was sure that he would miss this place far too much... Bored or not, Alexander was still home here and he closed his eyes as he walked, not watching where he went.

Abygail had gone off to do some exploring and shopping in a city on Eshan, while the other members of the Order of the Grey finished up doing all the Force-y things on their new temple. She still had hardly any control over her Force powers so her friend and master, Alexandra, had allowed her to go off-world for a bit and chip away at the time before she actually began her lessons in earnest.

She had just gotten done buying herself a brand new outfit when one of the numerous white haired Echani bumped into her, and she went sprawling into the street, clothes landing every which way.

"Ow," she mumbled, rubbing her back. "Do you mind watching where you are going? Sheesh, some manners from a supposedly uptight and prime and proper society."

He blinked and looked down as he rammed right into someone and went pale, bending down immediately without really speaking, helping her up before looking at the clothes and gathering them up for her. "Im sorry, i was thinking... normally we are a bit more conscious..." He kicked himself in the back of the head as he folded them up and gave those he had picked up for her to her and smiled. "Like i said sorry, i really was not paying attention because of something..."

"Well, next time be more watchful huh?" Abygail mumbled, rubbing her back with one hand while gripping her shopping bag in the crook of the other. She was never going to hear the end of this if Alex ever found out she wasn't paying attention, even after their lesson on senses. She groaned internally as she thought about the hysterical laughter ringing in her ears from the white-haired woman. Nope, not telling her at all. "What's your name so I know who to not walk around for a while?"

He rolled his head and then blinked as she asked him for his name with the reason right after. She was a bit cruel, he had said he was sorry and honestly not like he could do it again unless he tried... or didn't try sin- what ever. "Alexander, a pleasure to meet you... miss?" He waited for if she would give him her name or not, waving his hand if she didn't, not that it wasn't important. But some people just were entitled to keeping their name to themselves.

"Abygail Ericson," she said promptly. "And sorry if I came off a bit brusque, Dad told me never to take getting knocked over lightly and I take things personally sometimes when I don't mean to."

Checking her purchases, she was glad that the necklace she had bought that reminded her of Hapes was still intact. She definitely was feeling a little homesick, but she still had so much to do.

"So, mind if I ask what are you doing on the streets with no purpose except wandering with your thoughts?" she asked, trying to user her limited control of her senses to see if she could pick up anything from Alexander.

"Simple really, Home is boring, ive read everything i had, and though i could wander abit while i think about what to read next... or maybe some music. Ive been looking into getting another instrument with a soft sound but sadly alot of them these days don't exist... Hmm... And you, odd place for a shopping trip, are the daughter of a dignitary? Or a Dignitary yourself?" He looked at her features, looked at her posture, the clothes she wore, the things she bought. Running through the similarities with other groups that he had come in contact with as the son of a noble. "Either Hapan, Alderaanian, or just quite similar... am i correct?"

"Hapan, and no I'm not a dignitary," she said with a smile, flipping her red hair over her shoulder. "I was given some time to explore the galaxy for a bit, so I thought to go explore some safe and quiet worlds, and I heard Eshan was interesting to see. Got a little sparring in too, think I wounded some prides but that's what happens when well . . . I'd rather not say if that's okay with you."

She really didn't want to say anything about the training she had received for the Hapan commandos.

"Those are kinda weird reasons to be wandering though, I would think you would have someone to go fight or something you Echani do all the time . . . unless . . ."

Studying him, a thoughtful look crossed her face as she took in his appearance and features.

"You're a noble aren't you?"

"Nope, just a street rat that immensely skilled at pickpocketing pe- err ya, im a noble, one of those up tight warriors that do stuff... Anyways..." So he lied, he was good at it, and the slightest hint of that lie barely even crossed his own thoughts because of how much of what he said was true. Sure he could be like the others, but even if he wasn't a noble why would that change what it is in life that Alexander appreciated. "So you can fight?" He was still Echani, and if she could fight he wanted to see for himself. "Also, nice job flipping your hair... very Hapan of you." He smiled at her, seeing if the comment would register.

"Yea, I can fight, and thanks I practice the flip in the mirror all the time," she said, the last part dripping with sarcasm. Just to be safe though, she did check to make sure her wallet was still in her pocket and she breathed a sigh of relief when she felt its reassuring weight. One thing she had learned from her father and the commandos was always memorize everything you carry and its weight.

"Why do you ask?" she asked, tilting her head and wondering where he was going with asking her about her ability to fight.

"Well you see, i wanted to test it if you don't mind, someone with the confidence you show is no amateur." He smiled, having been watching her muscle movements and stance for the longest time now, convince she didn't just practice in a mirror and knew more than what she had been telling him. "So will you grace me with the techniques you know, i am rather curious about them and a quick display wouldn't be that bad, now would it?"

"Uh . . . sure, why not," she said shrugging. Maybe this Alexander guy might give her a decent fight, unlike some of the punks at the gym she had gone to. They had assumed that as she wasn't Echani they could walk all over her. Well they didn't think that now, at least she didn't think they did, but at least she had been paid for the master duelist's entertainment and she had used that to go shopping. Not very Force User-ish since she knew most Grey members didn't have a whole lot of possessions.

"So where do you want to try this?" she asked.

[member="Abygail Ericson"]

"Follow me please, and here, ill help you carry those while we head out that way." He reached over to take some of her stuff in hand to help her carry it if she would allow him, if not he would just shrug and start walking towards a more open area near his own home so that it was not so much of a walk for him afterwards if this girl was better than she made it sound. It would take about five minutes to get there and in those five minutes he said nothing, just walked and wordlessly studied her once in a while to gauge what it was that he would be up against in a small little bout.
