How Is Everyone

So guys, i'll be making my second push in the Skirmish tonight and trying to move us along there.

I wanted to take a moment to ask all of you, how are you doing? How do you think the faction is going? What could we do to improve? What would you like to see us doing?

Tell me, and we'll try to work on it!

I think the faction is moving alright, and I'm doing okay, just have ... a lot of submissions to look over. Doesn't help that I'm spread a little thin on threads to reply to.

10/10 would rp again

Honestly though. I have always disliked this faction's name. There seem to be increasing possibilities for non-Force User characters here (which is why I'm here now), and it would be fitting if the faction itself reflected that. If our goal is to grab all the former Imperials under our yoke and assume the position that the Sith Empire once had (which I think ultimately is our goal) then we should start being a little less Sith and a little more Empire, aesthetically speaking.

We considered a Name Change quite a bit ago when we first took Coruscant. It was ultimately shot down because The One Sith is what our faction has become synonymous with and losing the name could reduce our forward momentum.

As an alternative to push the NFU i suggest advertising. Create a faction advertisement for our NFU, throw links to our NFU section in the signature, and get every NFU to be active.

Part of the reason why my new character is a Bounty Hunter and a NFU is so that our NFU are displayed more.

I'm not sure I agree with that logic. Of course, the One Sith started out as a rather narrow Sith faction, but the eventual goal is to transcend that. No?

As the faction grows, it's narrow scope becomes wider. To me, a name change would actually reflect forward momentum.

And of course, as you said, the objective is also dependent on non-Force User characters to keep ourselves relevant in our own faction.

Indeed. As you can see we are hugely open to NFU.

I'll discuss a name change with the admins and see if where we come to with some input from the member.

Stick with the One Sith name.

So many apprentices so little time. :p

One of these days Arturious will be back on the field of battle but for now playing teacher is just gravy with me.

Just passed another exam. Ha! So I am doing fine :D

I like where the faction is going. Strong antagonists that actually pose threat to other factions is something that is always needed to keep things interesting.

You're still here?

Pretty sure it is a force apparition cooked up by the jedi scum to distract us from the goal of Galactic domination.
