What is your biggest regret in the history of Chaos? And what do you consider as your most successful action/event/project in the forum?
Biggest regret would undoubtedly be that whole debacle when we lost 3 months of data because I was being ignorant of some of my responsibilities.

Most successful?

Aside from the forum itself, probably the events. And out of the events, Netherworld would be my own personal crown achievement. It's a ton of stress and work to get it set up, but when it executes and executes the way you envisioned it would, it's beautiful.

[member="Tefka"] I have one more.

What is a song that reflects your life up to now? Not just a favorite because you enjoy listening to it but you actually connect to it. As a musician to me this may be the most personal question I could ask without overstepping boundaries.

For me it's this... (I've recorded songs and can be found but the lyrics are personal to me so I keep them off chaos)

Do you have any hidden alts?

I knew a couple site owners on some other sites who did so when they RPed people just acted normally instead of trying to get in with the big wigs. Impress, try their best not to upset their master, etc. Honestly, I hope you do. It would be nice to know you're still out RPing instead of dealing with only the admin duties you got.

A minor group of people on this site feel that they've been bullied and/or excluded from factions, organisations and in general roleplay as a whole because of one or two mistakes they've made in the past. Individuals such as @Circe Savan, @Cloudbreaker, [member="Sanya Val Swift"]- to name but a few- find it difficult to integrate themselves in the community due to the bias and general dislike shown to them and their characters. I believe at this moment in time, Cloudbreaker has left the community.

My question is what are your thoughts on this people? And leading onto that, what would be the best way to 'fix' their situation?

Thanks for asking this. I know that a few people will feel this way every so often, and this leads to disputes, scrambling for Staff to change things so that they can be accommodated better, or asking me personally for advice on their situation.

There's always an answer, but it's never one I can give them, because only they can change their situations. It's not the answer they want, but I've been adamant about not giving anyone a silver spoon in this community. Fairness and balance goes both ways. People who feel bullied, people who feel they're weighed down by their past mistakes, people who wish to escape their bad reputations... only you can fix this. I can not.

If you are being harassed, report it. But understand that we judge whether it is harassment or not, because we don't take you at your word. Decisions are made by evidence, not emotion. Judgements are passed with reason, not bias.

Most of these battles... they're not mine to fight. Not Staff's. They're yours. Chaos isn't a safe space. Staff isn't made up of Social Justice Warriors. We defend the rules and the spirit of Star Wars. Your reputation is your own, and only you are responsible for it. Fairness and balance. Everyone gets the same treatment, or else I'm no better than the community I left to form Chaos.

No silver spoons.

Thanks for the answer. I do have one question that I really want to know, seeing as my last two have been about the community. This one is just for fun. Who is your favourite character on Chaos? If you can't come up with one, then feel free to put a top 5 or 10. :)

Kadala Kotyc

Daughter of Mandalore

Do you have a favorite dinosaur? I've always loved Triceratops, personally. I actually really wanted to be an archaeologist or a paleontologist when I was younger. Didn't dig up the yard or anything, but I did read any book about dinosaurs I could get my hands on.

I like that character too. We haven't spoken much in the two or so years that I've written on Chaos, but I think you've done a good job with keeping the crap out of the website. You mentioned Social Justice Warriors, who shouldn't be tolerated, but I think there are other things that need to be stamped out. I think one of the biggest 'cancers' in this community is the introduction of themes that stem from genres outside of Star Wars.

I think it's okay for people to explore their ideas and characters, that have influences from other genres (most of my characters are influenced from Stargate), but we've seen recently a lot of submissions in the Codex and Factory, as well as roleplay, of full blown copies from genres- such as anime- that have no basis in Star Wars. I think these need to be tackled.

Thanks for the open platform. I think we learned a lot from this. Perhaps other members of the staff would be open to doing the same?

You said the Netherworld Event was your favorite. I've always been curious that you chose Seris Vant as the one who brought down Akala. It was a simple blaster shot. No flashy lightsabers or battle of Force. It stands out as it was so mundane. So why did you chose that over letting the climax hype rise higher. To just end it. There were so many juggernaughts there and way more worthy people. If you kinda get what I mean? I just want to get a feel for your decision.

Seris was my character btw.
