I am the owner of SWRP: Chaos, ask me anything.

I'd like to know, do you like to drink, and will you be in the greater Hampton Roads area this summer?

Beers for bros initiative in full effect.

No flashy lightsabers or battle of Force. It stands out as it was so mundane.
Perhaps you're answering your own question. Perhaps it was fate. Maybe it was Seris's blaster, and only Seris's blaster, that finds Akala in every iteration of reality, every alternate universe.

Perhaps it was the will of the Force, who was obviously so valiently fighting against such a dominating presence such as Akala, who exerted such control and influence over it that she removed its powers and influence entirely in the Galaxy.

My theory, if I'm allowed to have one, is that she was invincible and perceivably so to the point that many were trying to either coerce her from her chosen path or join her in her efforts. Many others were fighting the obstacles she set before them, or fighting each other. Only the Force was really fighting against her, bringing about the spirits of many denizens in the Netherworld to visibly struggle against her, represented by the dead Jedi Master Teferi Efreet's presence near the end of the thread.

In conclusion, my theory is that while these juggernauts and flashy lightsabers were about, Seris knew the odds were stacked so high against him... but took the shot regardless. He didn't cower, he didn't run, he didn't choose the easy path and try to join Akala. There's power in that.

Because sometimes in life, you just gotta take the shot.

I think it's okay for people to explore their ideas and characters, that have influences from other genres (most of my characters are influenced from Stargate), but we've seen recently a lot of submissions in the Codex and Factory, as well as roleplay, of full blown copies from genres- such as anime- that have no basis in Star Wars. I think these need to be tackled.
Can you name any off the top of your head other than the Croa? Don't answer, just think. Exactly how many species, how many planets, how much tech that has been submitted to the Factory can you name that are blatant ripoffs of other genres?

Nobody answer. I just want you to think about it.

Now, out of that number you just came up with, how many affect your character?

Again, don't answer. I just want you to think.

Now, don't look at the map. Think of 5 custom planets that you didn't create (there's 256).

Now, don't look at the Codex. Think of 5 custom species you didn't create. (there's 445).

If you're not a Staff member, or an FJ/CJ, you're probably not thinking a whole lot right now. Because this **** doesn't matter to you.

If you did think of some names, why? Why do you know these names?

Why do you really care?

If you just thought 'because its immersion breaking', hit yourself.

This is how I know the majority of you are American, because we're entitled to complain about **** that doesn't really affect us.
