I Don't Think So... (Solan Charr)

Lexa absorbed some of the residuleheat so that the pain would dull down considerably. "There. You can now weild fire," She said, releasing Solan's hands. "Eventually, you won't feel the heat as a pain. It'll be as if it's perfectly normal. Producing flame shall be the same, granted a bit more difficult, though." She studied him. "How do you feel?"

"It feels like a tingling sensation has gripped my entire body. A warmth inside me that feels like what ever you did would keep me from freezing on hoth in only my night clothes. Its amazing and it feels great." He smiled and looked at his hands, curling the fingers and then straightening them as he stood there. The feeling truly was one of a kind to him, never imagining that this feeling had evaded him for all this time. He then turned to her and made the bow he did before, one arm crossed behind him and the other over his chest, as he spoke. "I thank you for considering me for this knowledge, much less actually giving me the abilities... i hope your training is just as rewarding and generous."

Lexa smiled. "You're welcome. Now, the next step is a bit tricky for starters. You need to concentrate on your fire, and guide it to your hand. Then, you must release a small bit of it. Like this..." She lit her hand once more. "The first time will burn your hand's skin a bit, but you won't be able to feel it."

"Uh... let me try..." He focused inwards like she had said and tried to push the fire to his hand, trying to summon it up as he slowly pushed more and more, the idea of fire consuming his hand making him cautious. He smiled as he started to feel something though and his hand ignited slightly, small flames sputtering to life before being sustained.
