Gherron smiled broadly as he hugged Nef back. "I'm glad!" Releasing her from the hug, he grinned like an idiot, dazed by the fact that she'd just kissed him, even on the cheek. Could the day possibly get any better? He'd have to stick around to find out.

Noticing [member="Gherron Vael"]'s grin Nef said "You're cute"
A breeze ran across her face, she faced into it as it blew her hair gently.

"Yeah, well." Gherron leaned forward and kissed her cheek softly. "You're cute too." He wrapped an arm around her then, before he could tell himself he was too nervous to do so.

As Gherron put his arm around her, a tingling feeling went up her spine. She rested her head on his shoulder, lightly nuzzling him.

Gherron smiled softly then, enjoying the moment. Reaching over with his free hand, he offered to feed her another pastry by putting it up to her mouth. "Want another one?"

"Sure" said Nef, opening her mouth. It was peaceful moments like these that made being a jedi worth it to her.

Putting the treat into her mouth, Gherron took one for himself before looking back out at the sunset. "So, what do you do for fun? Besides vaulting in caves for rare crystals, I mean." He smirked at the comment, referring to the first time they'd met, in the caves of Ilum.

After
Nefertari thought for a moment. It had been a while since she had entertained company or anything like that. [member="Gherron Vael"]'s smart comment made her grin.
"As you known, I've enjoyed flying. I also enjoy music and swordplay. In fact, younglings often come to me for help with Shii-Cho. Of course, when you've been a Jedi for as long as we both have...it's the memories of your missions that you remember most fondly."

Gherron nodded, understanding. Since he'd come back from traveling the galaxy, he'd been following te Jedi wherever they went. Hell, he'd even gotten himself a padawan. He figured he'd might as well share his knowledge with someone, anyway. After all, nobody lived forever. "Yeah, that's true. I have a padawan, and he's always so curios about the force. It's inspiring. In my free time, I do enjoy drawing and reading. Though I don't always have the time to do so."

Nef nodded "Padawans, they sure suck up your time don't they?"
As the sun set, Nef found herself cuddling [member="Gherron Vael"]

Gherron smiled and brought Nef closer against him then. "Actually, this one doesn't. He just wants to learn. When he does something wrong, he apologizes, I show him how to do better, and we move on. I'm really surprised how far he's come, to be honest."

"That's great, my padawan is coming along quite nicely. His desire is great, though he seems a bit...I don't know."
[member="Gherron Vael"] was warm, Nef felt loved

"I tend to look at it this way. When I was a padawan, I was a nuisance to say the least. But look at me now. I'm more mature since i've been with the Jedi. And now, I can pass that on to others." Gherron rather liked the feeling of closeness from Nef, and felt himself smiling as he talked. The sun was almost fully gone now, and the sky was getting darker. "Hey, you think we should get back, or do you wanna stay here for a while longer?"

"If I'm with you, I don't care either way" Nef liked Gherron's ideas...and him as well. She could also tell he liked her.

"Alright, I can deal with that." Gherron smiled, content to stay outside for a while longer. It seemed nice, being able to be with someone, away from everything else. No noise, just that of their own breathing. Suddenly, he had the courage to ask something he'd been thinking about. "Hey Nef... You ever think of um, dating?" He hoped it was dark enough then so she couldn't see his face, which was likely deep red.

Nef's face went red as the crystal on her neck.
"Um..A little I guess...why?"
Of course, in her mind she was saying "Come on, ask me.."
She couldn't see Gherron's face, but she guessed he was blushing too.

"Uh.. Well um..." Gherron stuttered a little before finally getting the courage to spit it out. "What would you say if I asked you to date me?"

Now things got interesting. [member="Gherron Vael"] had just asked Nef out!
"I'd love to! You're the sweetest guy I have ever met!"
With that, Nef kissed Gherron

Gherron's entire stomach went crazy with butterflies as the girl kissed him, and for a second he didn't know what to do. 'Kiss her back, idiot', he thought. And so he did. Cupping her cheek softly, Gherron kissed Nef back, his lips forming a smile.

It lasted for a blissful moment, but Nef soon broke the kiss.
"I think it is time for us to get back now"
A relationship was at its beginning, only time would tell what would become of it.
