I Want U 2 Want Me

"I don't make a lot of promises- just ones I intend to keep."His eyes lingered on the ceiling, before they fell on her again. Her lips were warm, and soft. And gentle. But most importantly, they were sincere. His eyes fell sort of blank when she said berserk. She may have had some idea- but only a few people knew the extent of his savagery, his brutality and his ruthlessness. He decided, for now, he wouldn't touch on the subject to avoid an awkward conversation about his nature and why he was the way he was.

"All Mandalorians look good in armor. Besides, I know a few Beskar smiths that could make you your very own armor...tailored exactly to you. For you. Just like mine is, for me."He smiled when she talked about falling. When really, he was the one falling and she just so happened to reach her arm out and catch him.

"Aditya, when we get to Mandalore, remind me to tell you something."It seemed rather important.

"Please keep it." She didn't know why she'd opened up to [member="Preliat Mantis"], only that she had. Lying there in his bed, she propped herself up on an elbow and stroked the backs of her fingers across his cheek. She was a woman with no salvation, a tempestuous girl who'd made her share of negative choices in dark and light rooms. Her smile softened, she left one hand on his chest just to feel the soft thump of the heart so few knew he had in his chest.

"All Mandalorians, eh? Mine'd better have more multi-tools than anything else, 'cause all I got is an ability to fix things. I . . . am I going to get eaten alive? It's just. . . there're an awful lot of bounty hunting Mandalorians and I'm kind of worried someday my name might come back onto their lists. Sure, I'm a legitimate business woman now, but I wasn't and I'd hate for you to get in trouble on my account is all."

All Aditya could concentrate on was the gentle thump of Eli's heart. "Yes, Eli? What is it? Why's it have to wait till we get to Mandalore? How long until we're there, anyway? Shouldn't be long, should it?"

"No Mandalorian would dare cross me."He spoke softly, but assuringly. It was, true. With little Mandalorians to match him, Preliat was the rabid wolf of the Mando'ade- the one that no one should or would cross. It wasn't ego stroking, it was a matter of fact."Bounty Hunters will have to worry about you."He said, with a soft chuckle and leaning back further into the bed."You do realize you can do whatever you want to your armor, right? No limits. Just have to have it."

Preliat's eyes lingered over to the Ori'ramikad watch on his left arm, blinking. It had other purposes, but timekeeping was a necessity."About six hours. And because I want to tell you when we get home."

Home.

He was going to have a home.

The admission of his terror-inducing appearance or aura to the other Mandalorians left Aditya speechless. Could she see [member="Preliat Mantis"] being terrifying? If she dug into herself, she could. She could see it, but at the moment she couldn't decide if she wanted to or not. Instead, Aditya lifted herself onto her elbows and glanced down at his face and body.

Pulling her hair behind her ears, Aditya leaned in and kissed his cheek. "Sure they will. You assume I won't be spastically screaming in the corner. I used to be brave. I really did. . . then I saw horrible, disturbing things and I've lost my nerve. Even in armour, I'd probably embarrass you."

Six hours. Enough time for a sleep, shower and a long drawn out panning sequence of the view from above. "Home, eh? You going to work on getting me used to that?" A wicked grin poured over her face as she leaned back in to his chest.
