Akio Diachi
For it was All but a Dream
The Chiss let out a slight exhale through his nose. That was a tragic use of something so powerful as the Living Force. Or rather, that a tragic thing to only let the Living Force use you in that way. He waved his way along the wilderness seamlessly as he spoke. His footing was a sure and light as goat's.
"The Force is much stronger than that," he commented. "It is a tragic waste to permit it only when taking life. Or in that limited way. We are all just extensions of its creativity, all that you see is a manifestation of its divine brilliance; the rock, the tree, you, me--we are all nothing if not the Force. We are all in truth the same--for we are all the Force," He looked over his shoulder, casting her a glance. "When one accepts this, life becomes so much easier."
He came out of the woods into the clearing to the stone town he had spotted, but he could not have been ready for what he saw. The town was a ghost with nothing remaining. There were no bodies, no skeletons, or even speeders. It was quiet, eerily so. The Chiss stepped forward into the ghost town, searching door to door for life. Nothing. He came to the centeral building in town, he could feel a strange energy--almost a lack of energy like a vortex there, sucking him in, pulling him. The Chiss cautiously swung the door open. Lifeless eyes met him.
He took a few steps back, drawing his Katana as dead beings lumbered forward. Cyborg parts on the rotting flesh kept these carcasses animated as they moved toward the living, melee weapons prepared. One, a wookiee, gave a clumsy slash at Akio's body. The Chiss ducked under the blow, bringing his own blade up in a two-handed slash, cleaving its arm off and its body in two. The carcass fell, its robotic parts keeping it animated but harmless. Others like it were rapidly advancing, Akio set himself for combat, giving his blade a twirl across the back of his hand. There is no passion, there is only peace.
