They were the mutual admiration society for each other she grinned big and winked at him as she slid from the speeder walking towards the clearing she looked out at the Lake. She felt all the stress of the day slip away.

She reached back and rubbed her back, she turned looking for him, "I love that you love me" She laughed. "I really want to go to the Cabin" She groaned again. She had a thought, "Draco how long did it take us to get from Alderaan to here again?" She breathed out slowly.

She swayed back and forth looking out at the water, she really wanted so many things right now.

"Half a day, less if we hurry." She wanted to go to the cabin, and in all honesty, he did too. They had made great memories their first time at that lake house when they first professed their love for each other, when flirting and kissing had become the throws of fiery passion for as long as they could hold out. This lake had a few memories from his childhood, and they could make it special if they took the time, but they weren't trying to take the time. Not really.

He wrapped his arms around her, holding her from behind and rested his head against her shoulder. "I love you ner runi, and I want to make you happy. Tell me what it is you want and I will move mountains to give it to you." He nudged her slightly, pulling his arms back to her shoulders and spine, softly rubbing her skin with his hands in a gentle fluid motion.

"All that I ask in return is that you never stop loving me." His voice was soft and low, his tone a deep baritone. His breath brushed against her skin as he messed with her dress, shifting it around and fiddling with it while he rubbed her back.

"Half a day" she whispered she rested her head against his as he rested on her shoulder, lazy days sometimes they had very few of them today had been emotional. She had all she wanted for him to offer to do more she didn't know what to ask for.

She could feel him working the stress from her muscles as they worked to support her weight and the two children she carried, she slowly turned looking up into the soft grey eyes that wrestled with his own humanity daily, "I love you, I'm not going any where, I'm not going to stop loving you." It would take something horrendous for her to stop, he'd have to crush her heart dramatically.

She reached up and caressed his cheek the softness of the stubble on his face, the tenderness of the way he held her, "you can breath a little fire on me Draco, I miss your arms around me and only you know how to shatter my resolve." She pressed up to kiss him softly and pull him to her, claiming him as her own.

Draco nuzzled against her skin, relaxing behind her, watching the water barely rippling at all. The air was still, the evening was long and calm. It was just another night for this place, but there had been so much ache in his heart today. He felt the need to warm himself with the fires she stirred, the desire to just fall into her embrace and know that he was loved. Knowing that his family had remembered him while he was gone, that despite what he had done, their last thoughts of him hadn't been one of scorn or disdain had helped. It had helped him to know that they had been happy, that they had been whole and lived well up until the end. How Faith had given him reason to go on with all the sadness he had felt, he couldn't imagine life without her. Now he needed love and tender touches.

"You can't get rid of me that easily. I will be here, always." She kissed him, drawing him in, pulling him to her. His hands drifted down her body and gathered her dress up while he returned her passions, pressing against her.

Her skin was warm to the touch, as his fingers pressed against the outside of her thighs. His beard tickled her shoulder. "Then fire my princess shall have." He fell for her, hard for her when they had first met months and months ago. His heart had longed for her and he had found a way for them to be together, through trials and tribulations, they had stayed true. Stayed whole, all the while growing closer. But the passion they had felt all those months ago hadn't burned out in his chest, the embers were not faltering. The fire burned stronger and stronger.

[member="Faith Organa"]

Fire it burns brightest in the darkest of places, and hottest at the very center. Faith and Draco burned brightest wherever they found passion and comfort within each other. Their bond seemed to have been set forth by fate, destined to be together from the moment he offered to ensure her safety back to Alderaan from one of less than finer moments as a diplomat.

From it they had risen stronger a forging of their bonds in the heat of the passions they together were indestructible. Faith was quiet afterwards staring out at the water quietly she played with Draco's long dark masses. She loved his long hair.

She shifted slighly, her back had been bothering her for the last few hours. She took another deep breath, she smiled and laughed, "Draco...I think we have a problem"

She smiled and looked over at him.

[member="Draco Vereen"]

"No problems here." Draco grinned as he kept gently rubbing her back with his palms, feeling the warmth from her skin seep into his hands and through his body. He pressed close to her lovingly while he worked so he could breath in her scent and feel her skin against his face.

"This lake was one of the few places I came to when I was a teenager. It used to be a hot spot for the boys and girls of that age, you know, laying out in the grass and such." He hadn't visited it often, but on the occasions he had bothered to come out to see the lake he had always enjoyed it. The water was a glistening mirror-like surface, uninterrupted and calm. The sound of evening birds chirping, the noise of insects and amphibians calling out to one another echoed across the still air. Everything seemed at peace.

His fingers fumbled around a little bit. "This blasted thing." He grumbled as he messed with part of her dress doing his best to keep rubbing her back and work out the pain and discomfort she had been feeling as of late. "This is the most confounded thing."

"Alright, how are you supposed to take this dress off?" He grumbled again under his breath, unable to figure out the faux laces and knots and such he had found in the back. It couldn't be that difficult, maybe it just pulled over her head.

"Very carefully you just slowly undo the buttons" She wasn't sure maybe it was just a long day and once Draco rubbed her back then it would be alright, right? She turned back and smiled at him. "Patience cyar'ika, you know how to do it."

She looked back at the lake, "I can see why they would come here, its away from the city, its a bit isolated, and its beautiful. It is the perfect setting for" She looked over at him, "for whispering sweet nothings in someone's ear and starting a fire." She winked at him, it seemed awful quiet right now though, she tried to imagine Draco up here.

"Every world has a place that entices young love, and fans passions, even Alderaan has a few. My back is really hurting..." Could she have hurt herself?

"Alright, so these laces are just for show? Why the hell would they do that?" He muttered. Draco would never understand women's fashion with its fake buttons, fake pockets, fake laces. Everything he wore had a purpose, something it was useful for beyond looks, though he had to admit he did enjoy the look of this dress. It was flattering enough to be fashionable, the fabric felt comfortable, and it wasn't trying to squeeze a pregnant woman into some skin tight number.

He undid a couple of the buttons and slipped the straps off her shoulders. "There we go." He almost wanted to apologize for being so caught up in messing with it he hadn't been able to figure it out, but the mood didn't seem to be suffering.

He kissed her shoulder, planting a trail of soft warm kisses up her shoulder and neck, to her cheek. Gently he nibbled on the lobe of her ear as he wrapped his arms around her chest and closed his eyes. "I missed you Ner Runi. We can make our own fire if you like. Right here. Right now." His breath tickled at her ear and wherever he touched her, his skin prickled at the sensation of her touch. Even though they had been together all day it seemed as though they had been apart far too long before this trip. First being separated after Nar Shaddaa, then him being laid up in a hospital for weeks. Even just their reunion last night hadn't been enough to make up for that lost time.

"I think we need to take the time when we find it, it seems" she reached up and brushed his hair back, "there is always something that comes up pulling us apart from one another. Its unfair that you have to go away so much, and that I have to travel so much lately but it seems to be helping. At least I hope it does."

She kissed him gently, as she draped her arms upon his shoulders, "I like times like this, when you're all mine." She loved him being close the tenderness that he showered upon her the kisses that set her blood to run hot, the words that always fanned the flames within her, his touch...oh what his touch did could not be put into words.

"Yes" she breathed, "we can make a fire." She was all the things she feared him seeing her as, fluffy, slow walking, and at times helpless.

"I love you so much, promise you'll never leave." She kissed him again, and again, each time a growing demand for his attention.

"I'll never leave." He whispered, his voice a smokey timber as they pressed together. Not for good. He'd always come home, and his leaving even for short times would become less and less until she would have to struggle to get him to get out of the house, out of the Princely routine.

~A Short Time Later~

Despite her fluffiness, Draco's passion didn't seemed diminished or distracted. Gentle perhaps, but not reduced. It wasn't her body he had fallen in love with, though she was beautiful and gorgeous. Even pregnant she still glowed, her curves were still noticeable and intriguing. People didn't look at her and think 'Oh, she used to be beautiful' they saw her and claimed she was all that still.

He laid in the grass, rubbing her stomach, feeling the twins move around and kick. They were more noticeable now, moving around more than they normally did. It wouldn't be all that long now before he could hold them in his arms and the task of Fatherhood was upon him.

"So, how was your first time on this lake?" he asked grinning full of roguish delight and devilish success, having purged the sadness of the day with a shared fire for one another.

[member="Faith Organa"]

"The first time, well it feels like, I'd like to come back and experience it again, and again..." She smiled and laid across him as best as her size would allow. She looked over at him.

She had another long drawn out pain in her back her face twisted as she pushed through the pain. "oooo" She tried to smile but it was growing more difficult. She laid her head on Draco's chest. Breathing in, and out, blowing out, breathing in, then there was another shove from within.

She sounded a bit nervous when she spoke, through the breaths, "Draco....I think....its time." She looked at him. Now would he think it was time to go home, time to eat, time to sleep.....or would he think something else.

She put her hand to his cheek, making sure to have his attention. This was important..as she blew out again, her lips forming a perfect small O as she breathed.

"Oh, well we will try. The Lake on Alderaan is a lot closer though." He grinned, messing with her hair playfully while she rested her head on his stomach. She was warm and wincing now, and Draco frowned. He had some ideas about what was going on, but not a strong realization of the increasing back pains.

"I didn't hurt you did I?" He asked as he sat up slowly, cradling her carefully. It was entirely possible he had, and that would be an interesting conversation with the medical professional. 'How did this giant man made of stone hurt you tiny princess?'. And then he saw the look on her face and Draco knew what she meant, knew what the pain was about and why she had been uncomfortable for the back half of their trip. "Oh, OH. Its Time. Hang on, let me help you get covered up and all that." An ear piercing whistle errupted from his lips towards the tree line as he swiftly ensured she was decent enough to be seen by others.

The driver came running through the trees and stopped at the edge of the clearing. "THE SPEEDER! WHY WOULD YOU COME WITHOUT THE SPEEDER!" Draco yelled, a little panic in his voice. It would be the first time he was present for a birth, and he was hardly a professional. Or trained at all. It wasn't like he had decades of farm experience. The driver ducked back into the growing darkness of the evening woods, and a moment later a pair of headlights shone through the cooling dark air.

"Just relax, don't panic baby." Partially to her, partially to reassure himself.

[member="Faith Organa"]

She watched him, was that a touch of panic? She tried not to laugh she put her hand on her back, "I'm not panicked, are you?" She moved to get up her water had not broken yet so there was some time but she knew it was time.

She walked slowly while Draco yelled at the driver, yep that's his excitement creeping out, she grabbed his arm. "We need to head to Alderaan, and if we don't make it there you will need to deliver the twins..but it would be better if they were born on Alderaan."

The pains were far apart, "We don't have to completely lose it until there are just a couple minutes a part ok..." She looked at him, "Breath Drahr...I need you...so breath" She moved slow.

The twins were moving they were already head down, they were now just preparing for their journey into the light. Faith kept breathing as she neared the speeder, "We need to go safely, but quickly...ok."

She wasn't asking, "I could use some water...please." Faith slipped into the speeder laying back taking deep breaths, and blowing out.

[member="Draco Vereen"]

"No, I'll be fine dear. You'll be fine. Don't worry about it." Draco was just a bit worried, and he wasn't about to deliver these twins. What was he supposed to do for that anyway? There had to be a medical droid that could take over and do the heavy lifting in that department. She was asking him to breathe with her, to slow down and calm down, which was easier said than done.

One deep breath in, and a long, deliberate exhale. The warlord found his center of being, the place where he originated, the calm in the center of the storm that was Draco Vereen. The storm of worries and thoughts, the panic in his mind ceased and his focus returned. Home. They needed to get home. "Okay."

She asked for water as she lay down in the back compartment of the speeder with Draco. All they had was a single canteen of water, that wasn't all the way full but it would have to do. "Here you are, dear." The speeder sped off down the rural road, a bit faster than they had arrived. They passed a delivery vehicle on the road, likely the food they had requested before they came out to the lake.

The driver continued to speed down the long road until the turn to the main traffic could be seen in the distance. Already their ship had been buzzed to meet them in transit for emergency, so likely Captain Lindsey and Ana were throwing things aboard and getting ready for lift off.

[member="Faith Organa"]

No such thing as a go bag for this, she could feel Draco's tension. He wasn't scared he just did not know what to expect. Faith breathed well blew out, "Just a matter of time now." She shifted her weight trying to find a comfortable sport.

"You'll see the faces of your children, and Draco...I'm liable to call you a few names over the next few hours or so..I'm sorry...now ahead of time." She laughed the pains were increasing.."Tell Ana to have my chair ready, I can't lay down Draco...I need to sit up..the pressure is too much"

She could feel the struggle begin.

Faith began to pant..."Their birth has to be registered as Alderaan its important. Yeah they can be born on the way...but...Alderaan must be home...must be.." Faith pulled herself up...panting.

I can do this I can do this she told herself. as she gripped Draco's arm a bit tighter...her voice dropped an octive as she clenched her teeth, "Drive FASTER" The driver did as he was instructed, Faith sipped the water when she could. It took a bit longer but they were at the ship. clearing through customs, no nothing to declare.

Faith steps were slow, as she stepped on the steps to walk into the ship her water broke..."OK...its official....we are definitely in labor..."

"ANA!!"

Ana ran down the steps, "I'm here I'm here" she took Faith's other hand, "come on we can do this." They walked into the ship, they guided Faith into her room whre Ana helped out of her clothes and into something very loose fitted, much like a fancy hospital gown.

Ana had Faith walking to help ease the pains, Faith looked for Draco to walk with her...he had to be part of this...

[member="Draco Vereen"]

Yeah, just a matter of time Draco thought to himself. He'd looked forward to this day for a while, but he had hoped it would have come at a time when they were at the palace with billions of credits of medical equipment and amazing on call medical staff. Not on Eriadu a long way from home. A long way from where their children needed to be born. "Don't worry, it will be fine." He said, smiling at her.

She was being funny, warning him of all the things she would say and yell during labor, but he wasn't worried. She couldn't hurt him physically, and as soon as the epidural got placed, she would at least feel better. The speeder drove as fast as it could and the trip through customs was easy as could be. They didn't have anything they were taking with them and they hadn't really unpacked yet.

Ana's familiar presence was a relief however. Knowing there was anyone else that could do the actual delivery eased Draco's mind. "Honey, I need to talk to the pilot, and then I'm going to be right back. I swear." In truth, he didn't have to, but he wanted to make it very clear to the pilot what needed to be done. He wanted record time from Eriadu to Alderaan, because in his heart, he knew she didn't want to have the children in transit. She wanted to have them on her homeworld.

"Hit the gas, plot the most efficient, quickest route this thing can do, and full speed us all the way to Alderaan non-stop." His voice was a little jittery as he spoke. The two pilots nodded and began making their calculations, both calm and reserved, unphased by the situation at hand. Then again, they couldn't be shaken up by this, they were combat pilots, it was their job to remain calm in rough situations. Even still, it made Draco a little upset seeing how easily they brushed aside his call for swift action and went about their routine. He knew it would be fastest this way, they would take their time to calculate the jump and then the trip through hyperspace would be the swiftest possible. It was his nerves. "Whatever, call down when landing procedures begin."

The warlord rushed through the halls back to Faith's room as swiftly as he could, having done all he could to make sure their children were born on her homeworld. Once he was in the room and seated next to her, "Well, at least we had a good time right before they were born." Draco proclaimed with a grin, trying to reassure her and lighten the mood with a bit of humor.

[member="Faith Organa"]

Yes they had a good time, "Yes we had a good time" She tried to smile as another contraction started in the lower portion of her back traveling upwards and turning to sweep across her stomach. All of this to help the children move.

Faith knew they weren't going to make Alderaan, it wasn't possible the contractions were becoming too intense and the pressure at the center of gravity was increasing. "I don't think we will make it."

Faith looked at Ana, "Do we have a droid who can help?"

Ana eyes showed panic she looked at Draco had they brought one? She had not even considered a medical droid capable of delivering babies when they made the trip, the twins were early by her calculations at least a month.

Faith leaned back in her chair she felt the uncontrollable need to bear down. She gripped tightly whomever and whatever she was holding as she fought the urge, "oh god"

Ana shook her head, "breath" "wooo woo wooo"

Faith looked at Ana, "Really." Beads of sweat formed all along her brow Faith clenched her teeth, "I want up, I want to walk" She wanted to move the sitting felt more unnatural than laying down. She just didn't know what to do, if they didn't have a droid or a healer.

What if something went wrong?

No, she'd cross her legs if she had to, which was silly cause if it was time it was time. As the contraction passed Faith struggled to get out of the chair holding onto Draco, as another contraction hit stronger than the last stopping her where she stood, "OHhhh" "ooo wooo woooo" soft breaths, her face twisted.

[member="Draco Vereen"]

Draco put his hand on Faith's forehead. "Easy, easy. Stay sitting down Ner Runi." His touch would feel like a wave of calm and a slight numb would come over her body, pain would deaden and fade somewhat as the nerve impulses were interrupted by the Force. His skill wasn't immense, but with skin to skin contact and their very strong bonds to one another, Draco could manage to numb the pain she was feeling to a degree, at least take the edge off.

"Don't worry. If they come a little early, they come a little early. We are on a registered Alderaanian diplomatic vessel. Technically this ship is Alderaanian soil." He wasn't entirely sure on the semantics of that part of the law, but certainly there were some technicalities that could play into their favor in a situation like this. The ship was already in route to Alderaan, but that didn't mean they would arrive before the twins came. She was breathing, going through the exercises and such, and as worried as he was, he could do little other than be there for her.

Right now, Faith needed her rock, not a worried man on the verge of freaking out. The storm that raged in his mind, in his emotions could wait while he dealt with her and the twins. "Just breathe and relax. Breathe and relax." Ana was bustling about, wide eyed and fearful. If they needed a medical professional, they would be right out of luck unless they stopped somewhere, and that would take a while to drop out of hyperspace, reorient, get somewhere with a doctor, get to that doctor. It was all time they may or may not have.

His false sense of calm and confidence he exuded would hopefully be reassuring, though Draco wasn't prepared to deliver twins.

[member="Faith Organa"]

The next few hours were not calm and Faith was not willing to take the epidural yes it would have deadened everything from the waist down but she did not want to risk the twins being exposed to drugs so young, she would push through it all. She would do it natural.

Sweaty, after a few hours she looked at Draco, "THIS IS YOUR FAULT!." as she tried not to crush his hand. Her chin dropped to her chest as another contraction hit she moved around sitting up bearing down as she pushed hard to bring whichever one would reveal itself first. The small med droid purred and cooed nearby it was the best they had right now. It got pushed and kicked more times than it deserved.

This should have been easier than before but no she imagined that since there were two they were fighting with one another to get out first and her body felt it. Someone was taking her insides and trying to pull them outside. The contraction came on strong and Faith moaned and grunted her way through it. She sounded nothing like a Princess, Diplomat, or Lady.

Eight hours after the onset of labor the first to be born was the girl, Laira Mae Vereen named for Draco's sister, she came with a shock of red hair that would never change. And hour later the boy Theodosius Vereen his hair dark like his father and mothers, named for his Uncle Theo, his mother's brother.

Faith exhausted lay in the bed all showered just staring at two little faces, she was ready for a few weeks off. She looked up at Draco, "Hello Buir" She smiled, they were complete now all of them. They were a family.

Goddess save the galaxy.

"Hello Ner runi. Its time for rest. Close your eyes and sleep." She had a hospital blanket over most of her, and two tiny infants passed out in her arms swaddled and bundled up. He rubbed her forehead affectionately as he sighed, looking on all three of them fondly, happiness in his eyes. Exhaustion rolled off of Faith like a wave, though her emotions were happy. There for a while he had thought she was trying to hit him with her random flails in his direction, though she had been largely unsuccessful in her attempts. His hand ached a little bit where she had clutched onto him for dear life, but it was barely a mild annoyance especially compared to Faith's eight hours of suffering. Draco had tried to numb her pain through the Force but there was only so much he could do for her.

Laira had a little tuft of red hair, out of place and random, but recessive genes were easily hidden for generations. The little infant had his grey eyes, and had screamed bloody murder for what felt like the first hours of her life. Theodosius seemed more in line with his parents, dark hair that seemed to be a mix of dark brown and black from each of his parents, and brown eyes like his mothers with flecks of grey around them. He had cried, but not as forcefully and as long as his sister. Hopefully they would be their mother's children, but things were different now.

Draco had dreams of hanging up his sword and setting aside his armor, and it seemed there was no better time for that dream to become a reality than now. There was no great war, there was no terrible force of evil that needed to be fought. Alderaan was at peace and its people prosperous, its Princess happy, and its prince without a war to lead him astray and without an enemy to send him to turn aside. 'Never get weak in peacetime' were words he had spoken to many and remembered for the longest time, but that was not the whole proverb. "Never get weak in peacetime, but enjoy it while it lasts." His words were just a whisper as he made sure the blankets were comfortable and mother and babes were ready to rest.
