Given that they currently have probably hundreds of thousand of operatives in position feeding the confederacy information, perhaps it would make sense to quietly replace the current Bothan led command structure?

Second the Bothan Spynet canonically serves itself, it serves the bothans not the CIS. And as I said before, its most famous for being a world class intel agency that got outwitted by Imperial Intelligence.

First off, there was a CIS Intelligence before Strask reformed it for killing his family (Long story). Once Isley put Strask in charge, it became the Spynet. So CIS Intelligence has a precedent.
As far as the Burn notice, what will happen to those employed by Strask (Namely Lab Q?) Can I get at least some of them to help with this character's ship-building company?
