As to how and why -- the games are being offered as inter-faction and independent competition. Compete to bring glory and bragging rights to your faction, your family, your clan, or yourself.

Before you get any ideas, you should know that the First Order Ministry of Culure will be handling ticket sales directly.

This is under discussion. I suspect a megathread would be too unwieldy, but perhaps we could have one central thread (perhaps OOC thread) dedicated to keeping track of all the events. But I think the spectators, if any, could be in the same thread as the events themselves.

Oh, very interesting. I think this is my only character that could compete in any fashion (boxing, MMA or shooting comp? I dunno) in a sporting event (though if you end up doing things like that poetry, etc, I might have someone for that).
