Into The Wild

Lilythe leaned up and kissed him again, rolling them over so she was on top now as they kissed. She slipped one hand into Arthur's hair, running her fingers through it gently as the two of them kissed again. She wondered briefly what would come of this new relationship, before shrugging the thought away. It could be dealt with later. Tenebrae padded over and laid in the snow beside them. 'Not that I don't approve of this long overdue development, but won't you both get sick if you continue to lay in the snow?' the Hirion sounded as if he was laughing as he spoke in the couple's minds. Lilythe responded by sticking her middle finger up at the wolf, still kissing Arthur as she did it. [member="Arthur David Hardrada"]

He smiled and pulled away so that he could speak to her with a hand closed around her back. "I think he is right though, if we keep laying here i am going to continue to sneeze on you for the rest of the time we lay here, and i think that is something that we both would like to avoid don't you... that and i liked it better when you were the one in the snow."

Lilythe nodded and rolled off of him, springing back onto her feet and offering him a hand to pull him up. "Let's get somewhere warm and continue this then," she giggled, holding his hand as they walked off again. She let him determined their path, but held his hand the entire time they walked together. Tenebrae followed behind them. The wolf was happy for the two of them. They were practically made for each other. [member="Arthur David Hardrada"]

Arthur smiled and nodded, heading in the direction of the closest place that he knew of that would be warm and sheltered from the snow and cold that plagued the world that was otherwise beautiful. He would keep her pulled close and his head leaning against hers before looking at her eyes. "You know, you look beautiful with snow in your hair... its been a long time coming to say that."

Lilythe blushed and smiled up at him. "It doesn't look half bad on you either," she replied, reaching up to brush some of the white powder from his hair. Tenebrae nudged her side, urging them onward. The were apparently heading the direction of her cabin, and Lilythe could see the dark mass of logs in the distance between the trees. She grabbed Arthur's hand tighter and ran for the cabin, eager to get inside and warm up, possibly while sitting in Arthur's lap. Tenebrae chased after the pair eagerly. He smiled and moved towards the same door, pulling her through it and waiting for Tenebrae before shutting it and rubbing his arms before looking around for the thermal heating generators that he knew were in here somewhere. His eyes running over the area as he finally found it and powered it on so that things were a bit more comfortable than outside.

Lilythe took off her cloak and dropped it on the floor. She crossed the room to where Arthur was and leaned against him, grabbing his hand again. Tenebrae curled up on the floor by the heaters and fell asleep after dropping the small bundle of Lilythe things beside her cloak. The wolf had remembered to grab them when they left the cave. Lilythe blushed and looked up at Arthur, pressing a little closer as they warmed up a bit. [member="Arthur David Hardrada"]

"You sure are getting close now, arent you?" He smiled and looked at her as she got closer, realizing something. "Uh. im sorry for uh... kissing you back there... it was an impulse and i wasn't thinking clearly..." He looked to the side and studied the wall while he waited for her response, seeing what it was that would come from her now.

"You don't need to be sorry... I liked it," she replied, blushing as she continued to smile up at him. She leaned up on the tips of her toes and kissed his cheek. The ranger had been waiting for some sign of affection from Arthur for a long time, she didn't want to lose that now. Lilythe stayed cuddled against his side after kissing him, both for warmth and because she just didn't want to stop being close to him. [member="Arthur David Hardrada"]

He smiled and felt her kiss his cheek, trying not to react like a idiot. To be fair he did like her, alot, but he just was not sure just how to understand what it was that was going on. She was so close to him, he could even feeling her breathing and looking very closely at him. He stared for a few more moments, looking at girl beside him for a few more moments.

Lilythe grabbed his hand and pulled him over to her couch, sitting down and pulling him down with her. She leaned her head on his shoulder, blushing a bit as this resulted in her being cuddled against him. "You should listen to your impulses more often," she told him softly as she leaned against him, a small smile on her face. [member="Arthur David Hardrada"]

"Oh? It is very good to know that you like that well enough from me. I was worried you wouldn't like that at all, you are a bit of a stiff most of the time." He smiled and leaned his head against hers, staring a bit wider at her and nudging her side and looking at the fire. "So, how are you feeling now then?"

"I'm a little better," she replied, cuddling closer. At this point she was nearly in his lap. "And you can't expect me to be fun and games all the time. It is my job to uphold the law here," she replied in response to his slight teasing. Sure she could be uptight sometimes but she was capable of being fun too. The two of them had plenty of fun going hunting together and sitting in her cabin throwing knives at the wall. [member="Arthur David Hardrada"]

"Except, you quit your job remember you dingbat." He smiled once again and leaned his head on hers as she was nearly in his lap now. He leaned down and kissed her own cheek and sat back up as he leaned against her.

"Once I'm healed I intend to resume working... Consider this medical leave." She replied, grinning mischievously at him. She stared up at him for a few moments before tackling him down onto the couch. She would end up on top of him if her playful tackle had succeeded. She smiled down at him with an expression of mock innocence. [member="Arthur David Hardrada"]

"Right, so are you going to go tell them about your unplanned medical leave or are you just going to sit here and make them think you are still quitting miss Lilythe?" He smiled as he looked at the wall, looking at it for a few seconds before slowly closing his eyes and thinking to himself.

"I'll leave a note on the cabin door. I never even told anyone I was leaving. People typically just come to my cabin when they need me anyway," she replied, leaning down and kissing him again. "Now, stop ruining my happiness with your boring questions. I'm supposed to be the boring one here," she teased as she pulled away after kissing him. Lilythe was grinning like a Cheshire cat down at Arthur. [member="Arthur David Hardrada"]

"Yes, the girl living out in the middle of no where, in a cabin, with a giant wolf, and a bow as well as a damaged arm... is the one that is suppose to be the boring one..." He sighed and raised a brow at the girl that grinned like a Chesure cat, she really needed some friends past Arthur sometimes because he worried this girl was going to be a bit of a handful for him. "Plus, you are not blushing near enough for how beautiful you look, i mean come on. Right?" He smiled and looked at the wolf over in the side of the room.

Lilythe involuntarily blushed a bit as he spoke. "Oh shut up! You make me sound like some kind of hero! I'm nothing more than a simple archer who up holds the law for you," Lilythe replied, rolling off of him and walking over to Tenebrae. She scratched the giant wolf behind the ears and smirked. "Hey Tenebrae... If you're hungry feel free to eat Arthur. I'm too much trouble for him apparently." [member="Arthur David Hardrada"]

"Not even for me, don't forget our societies aren't really the best of friends. You people and your living out in the woods in your little communities while i get my nice cozy warm palace that i almost never am in... you should move there, its so nice that i feel like im going to barf every time i see all the money spent in it. My father sure did like his material possessions." He laughed and looked up at the sky before looking back down at Lilythe while she was distracted by the wolf and placed a finger to his lips before slowly getting up and coming up behind lilythe and speaking. "Plus, you could actually wear a dress, then you would be the most beautiful woman on the planet for sure."
