In your previous post, you didn't specify that your soldiers tampered with the controls actual hardware to lock out the bridge. I assumed it was done via a software solution. One which the Sith could overcome, as it was their own ship. I also read the sub for your pioneers, It doesn't read like they would have the knowledge to hack an enemy system through hardware, or software means. They seem to serve more of a logistical support role, through digging trenches, removing moves, transporting ammo, etc. but whatever.
I definitely get the feeling that this is headed towards a phallus waving contest, about who can take the least damage. Let's not go that route. I think the story of the good guys being trapped on an enemy ship. With, for lack of a better term, a dungeon master throwing up obstacles, and hazards, while an enemy bears down on them, is a much better story than "NOPE, not gonna take damage and go right for the objective." I would suggest having the hangar begin to vent, while your soldiers, under the threat of imminent death, hot wire the controls to close the door. It's much more exciting than "nope, not happening."
But that's just me.
