"Flip the vessel around, unlock the tube doors and use reverse thrusters to ease them out." The Human sputtered something in disbelief, but the Sullustan shrugged and muttered something that sounded confident. The Human glared at his fellow pilot, but sat back from the controls and let his partner take over. The Sullustan slowed the transport, using attitude jets to tip it up onto the nose and flip it backward-facing. After unlocking the tube doors, he used the reverse thrusters to back the vehicle away, causing the missiles to leave their tubes and drift away in the depth of space. The Sullustun left a second pair further away, then turned the transport away and reactivated the engines. Once the following vessels passed within range of the missiles, their targeting sensors would lock onto the signals and their propulsion systems would send them toward their targets.
"Drop the decoy," Ali told the pilots as they fled the scene, "That'll draw them past the missiles." Moments later the decoy dropped, projecting another holographic presentation of the transport while transmitting the text-based message Ali had written to anyone who was listening as it hid itself partially behind one of the smaller asteroids.
