A Jedi Master?

Hmm...I don't know. Frankly, I'd like a duel where the odds are comfortably in my favor (or at the very least one in which there's a certain measure of numerical superiority), considering that so far, Albrecht's lost every single duel he's participated in, with the exception of one on Coruscant, but that was only a victory by default because the opponent decided to leave and do other things.

I don't mean to be that guy, but at least one proper victory would be nice to have, you know what I'm saying?

Granted, it would help if everyone and their mother wasn't running around with cortosis body armor these days.

I haven't seen a lot of beskar or phrik, and at the very least beskar and phrik, while lightsaber resistant, don't short out lightsabers and render them useless (which is what makes cortosis the major offender).

Also, beskar's supposed to be very heavy (not that anybody has ever acknowledged this fact), and phrik is supposed to be brittle (same case as with besker's weight).

And to add further insult to injury, there's a lightsaber crystal that basically ignores cortosis, but THAT particular effect (along with the curved blade it produces) is ignored as per the site's rules.

Either give us this crystal, or restrict the form of cortosis that can short out lightsabers. That's what I say.

Know the armour may take the blow, but you have to aim it at open parts, like the legs, neck elbows
And then they just say "nopelol I moved my hand with a cortosis gauntlet into the path of the blade you can't hit me because that would be autohitting lol!!1!!one!!!"

Of course, you can use Trakata to bypass those blocks (which Albrecht did against Sai, but it only worked until she decided to pick up a blaster rifle and fight at a distance).

So who are you fighting against? I'll see if I can lend you a hand in the fight.

Okay, so I suppose we should make this a three on two fight instead of a two on two one.

I'm actually looking into doing exactly that, either making my own or finding a canon weapon.

I think you've gotten something mixed up.

Cortosis is very brittle, phrik is extremely durable and light-weight.

Funny, I remember reading somewhere that Phrik isn't exactly very durable either. I suppose it depends on the purity of the material.

This is why Sith Swords are so much better. Cortosis ore? Frail. What would deactivate a saber would simply shatter under the weight of a Sith Sword.

Go get yourself one.
Sith Swords are great, but theres a reason they fell out of use.

Lightsabers are literally weightless, this gives them a HUUUGE advantage in combat. Where a Swords movements are generally predictable due to momentum and such, a lightsaber can change its course with literally the tiniest flick of the wrist. This makes them wildly unpredictable not to mention that good ones are size adjustable, work underwater(Swords do to but they're hampered by forces whereas lightsabers are again, not), and are easy to conceal and hide. If were honest, if you have a blademaster using a lightsaber, and one using a Sith sword, and they're of even skill, the one with the lightsaber will always win.

Hence why I'd probably only carry one specifically for fighting opponents with Cortosis armor, and even then I'd probably model it off of a lighter type of sword, like a rapier.

Hence why I went for the padawan first.

Currently fighting against Saki...
Strength augmented by technology vs strength empowered by the Dark Side.
Vaapad is brushing the darkside, she lets it out in those attacks and just like Mace turns it all into a weapon for the lightside. I am just glad she ditched the skullthumper nothing more annoying then a phrik weight made for breaking down buildings and a chain that can catch sabers
