But you're also not addressing the issue of being shot at by a LOT of heavy weapons.

It also sets up a precedence for everyone else to ignore the defenses that Anja said you guys would honor.
We've already got a writer wanting to quit because people are not taking realistic casualties from his attacks and handwaving them away with lasers that should not be capable of intercepting such a projectile.

And honestly, my last attack should have finished off 90% of the remaining APC's and a crap-load of infantry.

If that was it, and you were out of NPC's? I wouldn't care if a handful of them made it to the bunkers. I would have liked it to have taken at least one more post to do... But cool. You got some people to the bunkers and may have made an easier path for others to assault.

But we just offered you guys respawning NPC's out of the goodness of our hearts.

Can I at least ask that you talk to your faction leaders about this?

At no point did you address the massive amount of anti-infantry weapon being pointed in your direction. Especially considering the second post.



Also, [member="Mard Szaks"], I like your latest post, but I think you misunderstood what all was fired in your direction. Due to the number of tanks opening fire at key targets, your unit would have taken 2-4 shots from at least three separate Myrkava. Each one aimed at a separate Vehicle or cluster of infantry.

People don't generally run at the same speeds right, or maneuver obstacles in the same manner. Perhaps we could say that the few bombers who made it the bunkers in my last post, where just the particularly agile and lucky. The rest of my unit is straggling behind in the rest of the minefield, meaning it will take at least an additional post to mobilize the other units to the bunker region, allowing for more casualties to occur between now and then (more, being the remainder of my forces for this wave).

Also, I hate to tell you, but I did acknowledge the bombardment going on, it is just... as I've said before, not to YOUR satisfaction. Do not say that I did not, because that is a lie. I've acknowledge heavy fire from everything from machine guns, to grenades, to artillery fire. But I was told, that anything that wasn't a direct attack from stuff that is directly in the submission of an NPC unit was MOSTLY background noise. You are taking for granted that I'm acknowledging them at all.

So that you are aware, I've been in full contact with my FA the entire time, and am myself part of Primeval Staff (New members Admin but whatever ). I won't speak for him, but he's basically fine with my reasoning.

36 killed after being sprayed by machine guns from multiple tanks? Ok. But that should have been doubled by the minefields.
66 killed after being directly targeted by the full attention of one-half the Bunkers on the defensive line? That number should have been doubled before the minefield added another 30-60.

But I was told, that anything that wasn't a direct attack from stuff that is directly in the submission of an NPC unit was MOSTLY background noise.

That post is not background noise. That's (honestly, he needs a specific number) about 300 men in 21 bunkers firing at total of 105 VERY big weapons at an exposed unit of infantry that, at the time, only numbered 124.


If you're not going to edit this, I'm going to have to ask that [member="Anja Aj'Rou"] and [member="Azrael"] discuss a more appropriate outcome to the interaction between yourself, the minefield, the razor wire, and the post in which you were attacked.

I'm still going to have to insist that [member="Anja Aj'Rou"] and [member="Azrael"] discuss the matter and decide upon an acceptable outcome.

personally, dealing with all this kark is giving me anxiety attacks.

Half the people that were defending want to choke me.
Because by being nice I just took this fight from "Yay, we're winning." To "God ****** we have to do that again."

There are few of the Primeval who are taking great hits and playing fairly. Blue boy? You've got 5 Mandalorian writers that want to recruit you to our team after that hit you took and the quality of writing you displayed while doing it. But Zambrano and Mard have got us pulling hairs. And Draco's all but abandoning the thread over how frustrated y'all are making him by ignoring or marginalizing his attacks.

The damage Mard's taken since the beginning of the thread? A single Myrkava could have realistically done that over three posts. The damage he took in the latest attack? Should have been three times as much.
And Zambrano's unit should have been wiped out two or three times by now.

I'm done stressing myself out over it.

It's time to let the Faction Admins do what they signed up to do and talk this out on everyone's behalf.

Due to the continuing issues, the FAs are discussing the finer details, but we wanted to impart some information to our respective factions, and hopefully help the member base flow a little better with each other. For the Mandalorians - that response can be found here.​

This is my first time participating in an Invasion other than fleeting, and I'm still relatively new to Chaos... so, in addition to being intimidated by the many of you far more experienced than I at this style of 'competitive writing', I will admit to being quite lost.
