Josh couldn't help but think about the missing child while he was in the midst of Battle Meditation. His fatherly heart went out to them and if not for the fact he was better suited toward combat and knew that the team on the job could handle it... He'd have dropped everything to go look. He found himself praying for the child's safe return, and if that team did not return with them... Josh would be staying behind to look further. No parent should have to suffer losing a child. No parent should. No parent would on his watch if he had anything to say about it.
Which meant he had a job to do.
Rising to his feet, with Battle Meditation weakening but remaining on since he could hold a lesser version of it this way, Josh knew it was time to spring into action now that he'd given his team the initial advantage by holding the full power equivalent for as long as he did. Now that the beast was focused on them, he could now act and catch it by surprise. A plan forming in his head, he would draw his lightsaber and leap toward the monster. It would slash at him, which Josh expected. Closing his eyes, Josh would Phase through the creature's claws, though only for about a second as this was still something he was in the midst of practicing. Re-appearing at the other end of it's claw, Josh would launch the grappling hooks from his wrists and let them wrap around the creature's arm. Kicking himself forward, he would do a loop around, spinning upside down and then right side up again before using the momentum to make his way to it's head. Once he did, he would wrap his arms around it's neck, bringing his full body weight down and exerting a great deal of strength - superhuman even - to pull on both the wrapped arm and the neck in order to bring the creature down. It would struggle and slash about, and Josh knew that the hook wouldn't support this for long. Nor would his arms, for that matter. But the Jedi let out a loud growl as he would renew his focus and pull as hard as he could, in a show of strength managing to use the trap he held over the creature to bring it down onto it's side.
"Yuroic!" Josh called out to the Knight, as he began to struggle to keep the creature down. He didn't have much time left...
"If you can talk to it, calm it, and send it the way of the poachers to flush them out... Do it now!"
