Jurassic Kingdom - SJO Dom of the New Plympto Hex

Hopping into the vehicle, Reggie waited for their arrival at the caverns. He kept his sense opened, hoping to catch any glimpse of the child through the force. The young Padawan couldn't sense anything worth noting however. Not the child, or the creatures that myths say lived deep in the caverns.

When Liuna, who was someone he had never met before, asked if they felt anything, Reggie shook his head apologetically. He couldn't help but thing that it was his lack of skill and experience, as he always did. The Padawan was hoping that his superior, Knight Raine, picked up something that he could not.

When they had arrived to their destination, Reggie exited the transport behind Liuna and was prepared to head into the cavern.

Samara slid Into the vehicle and sat next to the padawan. Sea green eyes took in the rocky, mountainous landscape silently as the rescue team made their way to the caves. It was the most likely place the missing child would take refuge from the elements, though also the most dangerous.

After arriving at the entrance of a cave, the young healer exited the speeder and reached out with the Force as the agent wanted to know if the Jedi sensed anything. Samara wasn't the strongest in the Force, but that didn't stop the Knight from searching with keen determination.

"I am picking up a small life signature within the cave network. It is below not above the surface. I'm sorry I cannot tell you more. Perhaps when we are inside and closer to what I am sensing, the Force will reveal it in more clarity," Sam offered those present with a nod.

Josh couldn't help but think about the missing child while he was in the midst of Battle Meditation. His fatherly heart went out to them and if not for the fact he was better suited toward combat and knew that the team on the job could handle it... He'd have dropped everything to go look. He found himself praying for the child's safe return, and if that team did not return with them... Josh would be staying behind to look further. No parent should have to suffer losing a child. No parent should. No parent would on his watch if he had anything to say about it.

Which meant he had a job to do.

Rising to his feet, with Battle Meditation weakening but remaining on since he could hold a lesser version of it this way, Josh knew it was time to spring into action now that he'd given his team the initial advantage by holding the full power equivalent for as long as he did. Now that the beast was focused on them, he could now act and catch it by surprise. A plan forming in his head, he would draw his lightsaber and leap toward the monster. It would slash at him, which Josh expected. Closing his eyes, Josh would Phase through the creature's claws, though only for about a second as this was still something he was in the midst of practicing. Re-appearing at the other end of it's claw, Josh would launch the grappling hooks from his wrists and let them wrap around the creature's arm. Kicking himself forward, he would do a loop around, spinning upside down and then right side up again before using the momentum to make his way to it's head. Once he did, he would wrap his arms around it's neck, bringing his full body weight down and exerting a great deal of strength - superhuman even - to pull on both the wrapped arm and the neck in order to bring the creature down. It would struggle and slash about, and Josh knew that the hook wouldn't support this for long. Nor would his arms, for that matter. But the Jedi let out a loud growl as he would renew his focus and pull as hard as he could, in a show of strength managing to use the trap he held over the creature to bring it down onto it's side.

"Yuroic!" Josh called out to the Knight, as he began to struggle to keep the creature down. He didn't have much time left...

"If you can talk to it, calm it, and send it the way of the poachers to flush them out... Do it now!"

Yuroic groaned loudly as Madelena jumped on the back of one of the animals. It was not helping the situation, the creature wanted to throw her off more than listen to Yuroic or anyone else trying to calm it. Then he had Josh forcibly grab it under control. Using the Force he pushed Madelena off the creature though placing her gently on the ground. While her actions didn't help the situation, it wasn't entirely her fault, Josh brought her alone, some blame had to go to him. Yuroic moved closer to the writhing creature, placing his hand on its snout and looking deep into its eyes.

He stared long and hard as he shared his mind with the creature, let their thoughts and feelings mesh togther and bond. He became closer to the beast than he did most people, a tear ran down his cheek as he felt the pain the animal was in due to its lost. However, he shared his anger at the poachers, at the thieves and killers, how he and his group wanted revenge. Wanted to seek murder against those who wronged its brethren. "Release your control. She understands why we are here now." He stated to Josh. Once the pressure was released, the mother barked orders at her pack and they left Yuroic and the others alone. "Find the poacher, push from their finding spot and we'll elimate them." Yuroic said as he stroked the mother"s head.

She lead her pack off into the forest, hunting for their new target. The same targets that Yuroic and the others were hunting. "Get ready folks, this is where the fun begins." Igniting his two lightsabers, Yuroic readied himself.

Ok, so Yuroic was really almost like a father to her, and he always expounded the value of Animal Control, but Asaraa had to be honest, she'd never seen the use of the power, well at least not till now. As it was she couldn't help but stand and watch in awe at the scene unfolding in front of her. The dinosaur's that had been about to attack them had turned side entirely, their tails swishing through the air as they ran rampant through the poacher camp. The poachers themselves had been caught unawares by the looming attack, their tents were torn down by the stampede as they struggled out in various stages of undress, blinking wearily into the light.

It was easy for the Jedi and Rangers to approach, to secure he criminals, disarming those few with weapons. In the end, the raid had gone off without a hitch, only a few shots being fired. Faced with the disorienting onslaught of the dinosaurs followed by the Jedi and Rangers the poachers were caught off guard and had been unable to gather themselves in time to fight, to hold them off. it had been an easy job for the Jedi to pluck the weapons right out of their hands, the aforementioned weapons lying in a pile for the rangers to work through as evidence. Asaraa tilted her head back to stare at the sky, she could already see the transports coming in as the Rangers secured the animals and eggs the poachers had collected. THey'd be taken to a compound, to be checked over by vets before they were prepared for release back into the wild, or being shipped to reserves around the planet. All in all, it had been a successful mission, and she'd even caught the dour rangers giving her a nod of approval. Who knew?
