Just another day at the Tavern.

"Heh, if you can fly an X-Wing, you can drive this thing. If you've ever seen some of the Jedi I've seen try to fly, you'd understand why I made the controls so simple."

"Well, I hope your first experience of one has been good..."

I grinned crookedly and winked.

"And may you have many more.... But first, let's teach you how to drive."

[member="Maddy"]

"Sword and all. I'm the guy in charge of coming up with cool gadgets like the BAM."

I grinned.

"I never could have built something this beautiful in a scrapyard. I needed a lot more than you'd think to put this baby together. Worth it, though."

" Thats pretty cool, I mean i've heard of the Jedi and their awesome powers. Just never thought id meet one" she said laughing softly.

[member="Zatten Black"]

"Well, you just did. I'm not exactly a paragon of righteous light. I drink like a spacer, and I fight like a berserker."

I smirked at my own description, and leaned back in my chair. Sadly, it was not of the swiveling variety.

"I also have this odd obsession with spinning chairs. Some Jedi I am."

[member="Maddy"]

"Some of it. I can carry things without using my hands, make lightning pop out of nowhere, and I have a secret weapon. Something that you will hopefully never see."

My grin faded at the thought of my change. It only happened when I was in battle, or about to go into battle, and it usually caused trouble.

"My power has never brought any good to the people who see it."

"Nah, I don't feel much like driving. We can sit here and talk if you want to. There's more of that whiskey in the compartment down there."

I jumped into the pilot's chair, which was of the cushy, spinning variety and smiled.

"That's, of course, if you don't mind hanging out with the crazy outcast Jedi."

[member="Maddy"]

"I didn't expect you to, really. The booze was mostly for me to keep level-headed."

I smiled crookedly again, and spun my chair like a little kid.

"So how'd you crash that X-Wing of yours? I could salvage it, if the damage wasn't too bad."

[member="Maddy"]

"Alright."

I thought about whether to actually try to get back to my ship today, or not.

"I'm probably just gonna park the BAM here, and sleep out here. See you later, maybe."

[member="Maddy"]

"Bye!"

I waved back, and activated the camping canopy, grabbing a couple of pillows and curling up on the floor of the BAM.

"Interesting day."
