Still though, you're destroying the portion closest to the tree which is the branch base, so you're cutting the bridge and letting it fall - unless I misunderstand, and there's a bridge structure built onto the branch itself, and you're just destroying the structure and not the branch?

I don't mean to be picky, my brain is just having trouble visualizing

From the agreed rules of the invasion:

If Kachiro and its bridges are in any way deliberately destroyed by Republic Forces then that is considered a One Sith Victory.

EDIT: Ignore me, just realized you're not in Kachiro and no such rule exists for the stronghold.

Lets take a look.

So, looking at the southeast bridge, it leads directly to the stronghold. And then theres a spare bridge that connects that to the much larger one to the left. What we agreed upon was to make use of the spare bridges so we're not overwhelmed.

The large W that you see on the southeast bridge is an entrance, which i'm sure you know already. Were basically trying to destroy and close off that entrance so no one can enter that way. So we decided to just blow that small section.

Am I making any sense?

Thank you. Since so much has already happened, I'll probably adjust what I'm doing bring all of Rogue Regiment here and have them in the trees outside the stronghold to hit the flanks and rear.

Apologies for getting into the invasion so late today. We just got hammered with another 14 inches of snow here last night and it has just been a karking disaster finding a place to shovel it.

Okay so, near I can tell, the OSE are using Sorcery to camouflage more oncoming troops. Vrag is there, Dredge is there Mitsu is there. The Chiss guy sliced the comm links (which I think is b.s. but apparently we have to let it go). Gherron and his Padawan are after Dredge. Kian Karr, his apprentice Ayden and myself are following. I am guessing Aralyn is maintaining Battle Meditation and Kana as well?

Also, apparently the OSE are gonna pull out grandpa's old Civil War bugle to confuse the Wookie NPCs.

is that about right?

Its too soon to tell Rael. As far as troops, bring em all Kiyron, they can't complain they bring 100,000s of soldiers with them!

As for communications, I posted that NPC slicers were working on re-routing to another comm channel, so the next time I post comms will be back up. If someone posts before me they are more then welcome to say the NPCs have finished.

Most important, we need to maintain the NPC vs NPC strategy. We fight PCs and counter all their NPC stuff with our own NPC stuff! We don't have to panic over their numbers, the fact that thtey are bottlenecked on the three bridges means their numbers are somewhat nullified.

Think Thermopylae, the tree bridges force them to fight us on a narrow front, meaning if we have fewer troops we can still hold them back!

It's hard to say because Seraphina just got back with reinforcements. Also, Kian is leadi g an attack so we haven't really gotten a Sith response yet. Until we do, lets say the baddies havea bit of an edge for now. That's my take anyway.

Sometimes it helps if you just focus on the posts pertaining to your objective and then whittle it down to those who require a response from you.....just be careful not to miss NPC stuff!

Yeah, that's what I'm trying to do right now. Just get an idea what's going on at my objective so if I have to get in there, I'm not totally lost.

So far things seemed to be going "Okay". All we need to do is hold the line, no one has been able to penetrate that actual stronghold yet, so i'm not sure anyone will have the advantage over the other after [member="Kian Karr"] has communications up.

But only time will tell.

Bad example. The Spartans still lost after a defector led the Persians through a hidden pass to attack from the rear.

We need NPC forces at the Stronghold. Most of my forces are engaged as are [member="Sochi Ru"], but Reverance has apparently climbed up through the trees and into the Stronghold.

I've sent a small force to intercept but judging from his numbers, I won't be able to win. I'll need more men there.
