THE STORY SO FAR…Hydrangea Decoria gave birth to a healthy baby in the form of Kat, the final child in the family of four with her husband, Karter Decoria. Hydrangea had been prepared to call her daughter Heather Decoria, following the traditional Decoria naming scheme of flower based names. However, upon the birth of her daughter, Hydrangea noticed that the baby had a significant birth deformity in her legs. Rendering them useless and in need of amputation to ensure that Kat could grow healthy.
Seeing this, Hydrangea announced that the child would not hold a traditional family name and that Karter could call the child whatever he wanted. Her mechanic of a father did not expect this opportunity and did not have a name at the ready, so he decided to go with the name Kat as a way to bond himself to his youngest daughter.
Kat and Karter were very close, with Kat often feeling ostracized and neglected by her mother. Truly believing that her mother hated the disabled Kat for something that she could not help about herself. When Karter grew ill, he pleaded with Kat to ensure that she did not estrange herself from the family and that her brothers and sister did love her, and her mother loved her in her own way.
For years, Kat endured snide comments and disapproving comments on her work as a mechanic, the bulky and cumbersome legs that were the first set of legs that Kat made for herself. Her brothers helped Kat train and learn the family fighting forms, believing that Kat deserved to be treated equally, while her sister would often ignore Kat to appease Hydrangea.
Kat trained as a soldier in the SJO, realised she held Force potential, became a Jedi and when the Mandalorians invaded Eshan, she saved her mother and heavily pregnant sister from the Mandalorians. Hydrangea went into a mute stage of her life due to the grief of losing her two sons and son-in-law due to the Mandalorians. During this time, Kat made efforts to build the family name, help her sister with the baby girl that was born and then bring her family back to Eshan once time had passed and things were safe once again.
As her niece Lily grew older, Kat saw that her mother started paying attention to Lily and grooming her to become the role that Kat was currently filling. When confronted on this issue, Hydrangea (who had begun to speak again) informed Kat that she was not worthy of leading the family, her disability preventing her from being the best fighter this family had. Meaning that more time and effort would be granted to Lily to ensure the future for the family was brighter than ever before.
This made Kat more resentful to her family, jealous of her own niece and Kat decided to cut herself off from her family. Cursing her mother for refusing to love her when all Kat tried to do was prove she was worthy.
Kat now roams aimlessly, refusing to be a Jedi, refusing to return to Eshan and lost in the large galaxy.

Kat is of an average height when she has her robotic legs on that she has needed since birth, with an athletic yet curvy frame. Her arms are covered in tattoos of a tech design due to her love of technology and building tech. Her long white hair is usually tied in buns or loose down to the middle of her back, her green eyes match the green of her lightsaber pike that is usually attached to her back. There is a scar across her left cheek from a drunken fight and several scars from battles she had fought in as a younger adult. Her robotic legs are elegant and don't look too different to leg armour, she doesn't often have her legs on show but is not ashamed of them either, especially since she knows that they can give her an advantage in combat if the need arises. Usually seen wearing a leather jacket, shirt and trousers, sometimes wearing a medical coat.

STRENGTHSSkilled in combat - Being Echani as well as someone who has practiced Jedi combat for over a decade, Kat is highly proficient in combat and can fight when needed with a large amount of skill that could be seen as surprising for a healer.Healing Touch - Having spent nearly a decade as a Force Healer to some degree, Kat is highly skilled in medicine, Force Healing and understanding the psychological trauma that people suffer. She is able to heal severe wounds and treat those suffering with severe trauma or PTSD.Tech Focused - Kat is a skilled mechanic and holds a great level of skill in creating and manipulating technology. Also having mastered Mechu Deru, Kat is also capable of speaking with technology through the Force. She still runs a tech company that creates weapons, droids and armour for people.Charming and Friendly - Kat tends to be considered a warm and welcoming person to meet. Friendly and capable of putting others at ease without much difficulty.Emotionally Mature - Despite the trauma and abuse that she has suffered over the years from her mother, Kat is emotionally mature and very considerate of the needs and demands of others. She usually puts those needs above her own.Fluent in several languages - Having spent the past half a decade travelling across the galaxy, Kat has learned several languages, some she can speak and others that she simply understands when spoken to.WEAKNESSESFamily Trauma - From her difficult birth, Kat’s mother has been very intolerant of her daughter. It was deemed she was never going to be good enough. This has left a lasting impression on Kat that no one could truly love her since she is broken/unworthy of such love.Can be perceived as Co-Dependent - When she is in love with a partner, Kat can be called highly dependent on the person. Always checking that her partner is happy and wants to be with Kat as well as constantly feeling there are better suited people out there for them. It can make Kat appear more toxic and needy to an unhealthy level.Self-destructive Nature - Having been addicted to drinking, reckless with how she lived her life. Kat is very prone to being self-destructive tendencies as a way to medicate the loneliness she feels at times.Darkening Heart - Over the years, Kat has been growing more closed off and less caring about the suffering of strangers. Her attitude is sometimes darker, sarcastic and considered cruel by others. It is in part a coping strategy for the many years of healing people but in part due to her abusive mother creating a coldness in her heart once again.Supportive over Combative - Most of Kat’s skill in fighting is a supportive role, bolstering others, healing injuries and demoralising the enemy. While she can fight well, it is not the core of her training, which can be noticed when she fights someone with a lot more combat experience.Bubbling Rage - Due to her mother’s neglect and abuse, Kat has been suppressing a lot of rage that has been growing inside Kat. Over the years, it has come out where she will get into drunken rages, fights and end up waking up having gotten beaten up by a large group of people.
