The Character
Biology:
Born to a human mother and Firrerreon father, Kelan was lucky enough to receive the accelerated healing factor of the Firrerreo but due to his hybrid blood his rate of recovery falls somewhere between the two parent species. He also has gained the benefit of a slightly longer life span than baseline humans. He has two sets of eyelids, the first of which is a set of normal human eyelids, the other is a completely transparent nictitating membrane which allows them to see into the ultraviolet spectrum of the color scale though the membranes are nearly invisible to spectators.
Personality:
Much like his father Kel is cool and cocky, though he doesn't have many close friends he is generally considered to be a likable person, however for the most part that is where the similarities end. He prefers making people like him because it's easier for him to manipulate them if they are emotionally invested, but he himself keeps people at a distance because he likes being able to do whatever it takes to survive without the burden of guilt. He is cold when he needs to be and calculating all the time, he doesn't take steps unless he knows they are necessary for his desired outcome. He's also been known to be a ladies man but he never takes it to the point where it supersedes the job at hand, however around women he is especially flirtatious and charming.
Strengths:
- Strong Empathy - Kel, like his father, has an impeccable ability to read people and know what they're thinking or feeling, this makes it hard for people to deceive him and play him for a fool, it also has other advantages that work well in many situations.
- Calculated - He always has a plan, and a contingency plan, and a contingency plan for his contingency plan.
- Charismatic - He is charming, funny, and easy to like. People like him and like being around him and he often uses that to his advantage, it's easy for him to make friends.
- Additional Skills - Slicing, theft, stealth, healing ability (Firrerreon), able to see in the UV color spectrum (Firrerreon), agile, exceedingly handsome, and intelligent.
Weaknesses:
- Daddy Issues - Kel hates his father and this sometimes causes him to be impulsive and rash and easily angered at the mere mention of Adrien Draykon. He wants nothing more than to see the man dead.
- Betrayal - There is a good chance that Kel will betray anyone at any given point if it gets him closer to his goals, when people discover this it makes it more difficult for him to use them effectively or worse, creates a lot of enemies.
- Coward - He isn't afraid to fight a fight he knows he has a good chance of winning, but he doesn't do suicide missions and he doesn't join lost causes. Self-preservation is always at the forefront of his mind and he will do anything to make sure he lives on.
Appearance:
Kel stands 5'11", weighs 173lbs, Kel has brown eyes and dark brown, styled hair. He sometimes sports a beard most of the time. He stays rather fit as he works out almost daily and tends to stay rather active.
